Hi there! I have over five years of full-time experience working with animals of all kinds, and a lifetime of caring for my own pets. My background includes hands-on work at horse barns and caring for a wide variety of species—including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, small animals, and even exotic pets. I’m deeply passionate about animal care and committed to providing a safe, loving, and enriched environment for every animal I work with. I understand that each pet is unique, and I take the time to learn their individual needs, personalities, and routines. You can trust that your pet will be treated like family—with patience, compassion, and expert attention. I’m also the proud pet parent of Athena, my 3-year-old Border Collie/Blue Heeler mix. She’s my loyal adventure buddy and comes with me everywhere I can take her—whether we’re camping, hiking, shopping, or discovering new places. She’s friendly, active, and well-socialized, and she brings so much joy to our daily routines. Athena helps keep life exciting, and she reminds me every day just how special the bond between human and animal can be.

In my home, I provide a loving and safe environment where my pets feel comfortable and secure. I prioritize their well-being by offering regular meals, plenty of cuddles, and engaging enrichment activities to keep them happy and stimulated. Creating a peaceful, nurturing space is my top priority and your animals would be treated as if they were my own.

Mercedez was able to walk Ita and Nio on short notice. Super punctual and professional. The dogs were happy to see her and I got great photos. Highly recommend!
I feel so lucky to have found Mercedez on Rover! She went above and beyond in every way while looking after my cat. Not only did she handle all the basics perfectly, but she truly took the time to love, play, and bond with my cat as if he were her own. The frequent updates (with pictures and notes) gave me so much peace of mind, and it was clear from the very beginning that she’s a natural with animals. My usually shy cat warmed up to her so quickly, which says it all! Mercedez is responsible, trustworthy, and most importantly, a genuine animal lover. I came home to a happy, relaxed cat and a spotless home. I can’t imagine a better sitter, and I will definitely be booking her again. Mercedez is very easygoing and incredibly sweet. She took care of my senior jack russel terrier, Fred for me while visiting family. She followed my instructions to a T! When I arrived home, it seemed Fred had preferred her over me now! All jokes aside, Mercedez is very knowledgeable when it comes to caring for animals and the treatment of my boy reflects that. I recommend her to anyone in need of a pet sitter!
Mercedez has been absolutely incredible with my dog, Bruno. From the moment they met, it was clear that she has a natural connection with animals. Bruno took to her right away, and it’s easy to see why—she’s warm, attentive, and genuinely loves what she does. She treats Bruno like he’s her own, always making sure he’s well cared for, comfortable, and happy. I also like how she sends me thoughtful updates while I’m away, Mercedez goes above and beyond in every way. I never have to worry when he’s in her care.
Mercedez has lots of pets, all of which are so loved and so well taken care of. I’ve never known anybody who cares so deeply for all animals, they truly are her world. She has watched my beagle, Bailey, many of times. I trust her more than anyone else with him and she’s always taken such great care of him. He always has so much fun with her and gets so excited when he gets to visit with her. I highly recommend Mercedez for anyone who needs someone to watch and care for their pet! They will be safe and happy in her hands.

Schedule
I work full-time during the week but I am available to provide pet care services in the evenings and on my days off. If given a month’s notice I can arrange my work schedule to accommodate you and your furry friends. This flexibility allows me to assist busy pet parents who need reliable, loving care outside of typical work hours. Whether it’s evening dog walks, overnight sitting, or visits, I’m committed to being there for your pets when you need me most. You can count on me to offer consistent, attentive care tailored to your pet’s schedule and needs.
