Getting to know the family home and the spaces that are shared with the animals is a great way to keep things consistent for the pet. I like to do everything as similarly to the owners as possible so pet care is smooth and seamless

I love to know as much about your pets as possible. A meet and greet with pet parents present is a great starting point, where you can share the unique quirks and habits your pet may have. Obviously it’s good to know where leashes, treats and clean up materials are, but I love getting to know about their favourite toys, games and that good spot to scratch as well
A typical day
While every dog I’ve known loves a walk, it’s not the only way for them to get exercise and stimulation. Sometimes 5 minutes of throwing the ball in the yard can be as effective as a 30 minute walk. Every pet is different and every pet parent has different wants for their four legged best friend, I’m happy to accommodate them all

I have been incredibly blessed to have had wonderful pets in my life since I was born. My current pets include a sweet lab/greyhound mix and an adorable tabby cat. I often find myself doing drop in visits and walks with my parents 2 year old German Shepherd/golden retriever, (quite a handful but so sweet) as well as a friend's schnauzer mix. There's nothing I love more than getting outside with dogs either for a hike in the beautiful Niagara Escarpment or just nice walk around the block. And if I can't be outside, I am more than happy to play a game with your pets toys. Maybe, a quick game of "search" or just a "tug of war" in house (space and owner blessing permitting). Our 4 legged friends bring me such a joy, and I look forward to returning that joy to your animals

Jonathon was very friendly and my dog Miska absolutely adored him. He gave excellent report cards with pictures after every walk and he messaged us when he was 10 minutes away so we could have Miska ready for when he got here. If we ever need his services again we will rebook with Jonathon in the future.

Excellent communication and great with two larger breed dogs
Jonathon was fantastic with our dog for the week we were away. He gave her lots of love and attention and she seemed to enjoy her time with him! If we need a dog walker in future we will be hiring Jonathon once again. Thanks for spoiling our pup!
