About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was young, helping neighbours, friends, and family by walking, feeding, bathing, and giving lots of love and attention. Pet care is naturally part of my routine. I can set aside time each day for feeding, walks, and play to ensure pets stay healthy, active, and well cared for. In my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I follow their usual routines with feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. I also provide plenty of attention, keep their space clean, and ensure they feel safe and happy while their owners are away.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life, as for right now I am travelling on and off and therefore cannot have my own furry friend. But in the meantime would love to go on walks and take care of yours! I have plenty of availability when I’m not travelling! When I’m not travelling or volunteering to help youth or other animal programs, I am doing this! When watching the pets taking them out, playing with them, allowing them to eat on time is very important. A healthy balance of everything is what they need!

About: We have years of experience when it comes to dogs from puppies to our dear senior dogs. We love them all and are capable to take care of them. I have a Springer Spaniel which I need to take care of daily. She's needs lots of workouts as a high energy dog and I love it to exercise her. She is also a very big part of our family and needs lots of attention care and love. A pet in my home or a clients home will be taken care of like my own, they will get all the love they need in our scheduled time and also enough exercise to make them tired.

About: I’ve cared for animals of all sizes, temperaments, and care needs through both personal and professional experience. I have experience with dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, small animals, and more. I’m comfortable working with a wide range of personalities and energy levels, including high energy dogs, shy or anxious pets, and animals requiring patience and detailed care. I also have experience with puppy care and basic training reinforcement, including maintaining consistency with routines, potty schedules, and commands. In addition, I have clinical animal experience, which has helped me become confident working with many different temperaments and behaviours. I will soon hold a Bachelor of Medical Science. During my studies, I developed a strong foundation in biology, physiology, health sciences, and overall wellness. This background has strengthened my understanding of health and behaviour. What sets me apart is my focus on individualized care and safety. I take the time to learn about each pet so they can feel comfortable and secure while in my care. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal with the same level of care and respect I would expect for my own. Working with animals has always been a long-term career goal of mine. It’s something I deeply care about and take pride in. I have flexible availability, and am willing to drop-in multiple times a day if needed. Contact me so that we can make arrangements that work for everyone. I focus on private dog walks and drop-in visits. I believe many pets are most comfortable and least stressed when they’re able to remain in their familiar environment and routine. My approach to pet care is calm, attentive, and safety-focused. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, comfort level, routines, and any behavioural or medical considerations before services begin. During walks and visits, I focus on: -Secure leash and harness handling -Private, one-on-one care -Monitoring pets for stress, overheating, fatigue, or discomfort -Maintaining routines as closely as possible -Keeping homes secure upon arrival and departure -Providing updates for peace of mind I understand that trust is extremely important when allowing someone to care for your pets and access your home. I approach every visit with professionalism, respect, and attention to detail to help both pets and owners feel safe and comfortable.

About: I've owned dogs my entire life and have pet-sat for friends, neighbours and family. I am able to accommodate puppies and senior animals. Brushing and bathing are negotiable. I do not groom. My schedule is flexible. I can normally accommodate you with a bit of notice. Usually, any time after 9:00 is fine. I'm currently on leave from home support work due to injury as my job requires heavy lifting. Unless your yard is fenced, I insist on leashing. The field behind my home is great for walks but not fenced. My big dog loves to play with dogs but she can be placed in a separate room. I have a pen for pups or small dogs. Your dog(s) will get cuddles and play. I have a quiet room for shy cats, but your cat(s) can socialize with my 2 cats. My animals are all fixed. I can take exotic pets in your enclosure. My pen will give ample room to guinea pigs or rabbits. I can't separate small pet genders so please confirm in advance or bring your own cage.

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. The dogs I watch, walk, and visit, become my family. I have experience with reactive dogs, dogs that have anxiety about thunder and fireworks, and dogs that have medical regimes. I am attuned to the need for dogs to be engaged through walks, play, and games, while also enjoying their rest. I am Pet First Aid Certified through St. John's Ambulance, with hands on training in dog CPR and other treatments. I look forward to introducing myself and meeting you and your dog(s) during a free meet and greet. My work allows for a flexible schedule throughout the week and weekends. I can be available for all of your pet care needs, regardless of timing. My elderly puppies need a predictable environment, so I prefer to stay at your home when caring for your pet(s). I will review your expectations regarding your home, the yard, and the immediate neighbourhood during our free meet and greet. I also offer additional services inside or outside of your home, if you are interested.

About: First of all - I empathize with your tough decision; leaving your fur baby in the hands of another is always a stressful experience. I want to make sure this is a pawsitive experience for you - to answer any questions, send regular updates and photos of your fur baby being spoiled, feeling safe and comfortable in your absence - which would be stressful for them as well. I will not derail your training or nutrition routines as I know it takes a lot of work and dedication to raise a healthy, happy pet. I work full time M to F, 8 to 3. If by chance your fur baby needed to spend any weekdays with me, I’m happy to crate or provide a space free of dangers - garbages up, stairs downstairs gated off and peaceful music in the background. I can also ask my folks (retired) to stop by for a pet and a pee. Mainly - I am looking to sit during weekends (when I am fully off) and holidays (I get all school holidays off) - where it will be me and your fur baby from morning till night! Also - if your pet is more comfortable at his/her own home, I don’t mind having the discussion of me staying over with you. I think it would be really beautiful to get to know your pet like an auntie so that you all can rely on a familiar face as you travel and your pets grow older! I live on an acre of land, with a creek in my backyard. I do not live on a busy street, however, I do not have a fenced in property. I would never let your dog or cat outside to roam without myself at the end of their leash. I will gladly exercise your fur baby with toys, lick pads and long-tether leash walks, in the backyard, on the trails (depending on heartworm/tick medications up to date), but I would never let them out of my sight (I wouldn’t even be able to do that with my own fur baby as I don’t want them to get into anything and frankly I don’t trust people out there!!)

Paula was awesome! She arrived early with a friendly vibe and immediately settled in taking some time to get comfortable with our dogs before we headed out. She'd clearly experienced with animals and a dog lover, so I had no concerns at all leaving my pups with her. She was responsive and sent a few updates and pictures throughout the evening. When we got home, the doggies were calm and happy. I will definitely be booking with Paula again next time we're in Crystal Beach - highly recommend having Paula take care of your pups 🐶 ♥️

About: I grew up with two dogs when I was growing up and it helped to teach me with maintaining their routines, trying to reinforce positive behaviors, taking care of their medical needs and administering basic medications, and recognizing signs of stress or discomfort early. I treat each pet like they are my own, making sure they get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection, along with updates so you always feel confident they’re in good hands. I strive to create a calm, consistent environment so dogs can thrive even while their owners are away. I'm currently working retail part time so I am flexible during the week and weekends. I usually have Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays off. Can do weekends per request I can take care of your furbabies however you need if they require certain medications, feeding schedules, walking or litter cleaning schedules I am flexible to work around you and their needs.

We are so grateful for Madeleine! This is our first time using a sitter for our dog. She is patient, flexible and communicative. I appreciate her knowledge around dog body language and was grateful for all of the questions she asked to get to know Beau beforehand. I would highly recommend her and look forward to having her assist in the future!
