Every visit supports your pet’s routine, safety, and positive behavior. With over 14 years of experience raising rescue dogs and a basic dog training certification, I bring an extra level of awareness to every walk and drop-in. I don’t just supervise—I actively help maintain the structure and consistency your pet is used to at home. I’m especially a great fit for puppies, high-energy dogs, or pets who benefit from clear boundaries and routine, but I also work comfortably with shy or more reserved cats and dogs. During visits and walks, I focus on: • Reinforcing positive behaviors (loose-leash walking, calm greetings) • Maintaining your pet’s routine and expectations • Providing engaging play and mental stimulation • Keeping walks controlled, safe, and stress-free • Sending thoughtful updates so you always feel at ease Many clients choose me because they want someone who can provide both care and structure, so their pet stays on track even while they’re away. I adapt to each pet’s personality—whether they need patience and reassurance or a bit more guidance and direction. Meet & Greets are required before the first booking to ensure the best fit for everyone. Note: Requests outside my service area may include a small mileage fee, discussed prior to confirmation.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. During walks, dogs are kept securely leashed at all times, and I choose safe, controlled routes based on your dog’s needs and energy level. For added safety, I do not take dogs to off-leash dog parks, which helps avoid unpredictable situations and ensures a more calm, structured experience. In your home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s routine closely—including feeding, water, medications (if needed), and any specific instructions you provide. I take care to keep doors secure, monitor your pet’s behavior, and ensure they are safe and comfortable before leaving. I also pay close attention to each pet’s body language and comfort level, adjusting my approach to reduce stress and build trust—especially for shy or more sensitive pets. You can expect reliable communication and updates, so you always know how your pet is doing while you're away. My goal is to provide a calm, controlled, and dependable environment so your pet feels secure and cared for at all times.

Lisa was wonderful with Sage. This was my first time having someone watch my dog, so I was a little nervous, but she made the whole process feel really easy and reassuring. I really appreciated that she did a meet and greet beforehand and she was so patient with Sage. She sent pictures and updates while I was away, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. When I came home, Sage seemed happy, calm and totally content. I’m really grateful for how thoughtful and reliable Lisa was! Lisa was great! She came and spent time with my mom's car while we were all away for Christmas. She made sure Thea's food was ripped up, the litter box was clean, and she spent time playing with Thea and her toys. She sent photos and updates, so we were aware of her coming and going. I felt good knowing Thea was in good hands and being cared for while we were away. I'd use Lisa again, no question!

I work full-time from home, allowing me to offer flexible, dependable scheduling for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. I’m available for midday walks, routine check-ins, and evening visits, making me a great fit for pets who benefit from consistency, structure, and regular attention while you're away.

- To provide the best and safest care possible, I like to learn a bit about your pet’s routine and behavior ahead of time. Helpful information includes: • Temperament (friendly, shy, nervous, reactive, etc.) • Comfort level with new people, dogs, or environments • Any triggers or sensitivities (sounds, other animals, handling, etc.) • Feeding schedule and dietary instructions • Medications, including dosage and timing (if applicable) • Usual routine for walks, bathroom breaks, or litter care • Leash behavior and energy level (for dogs) • Any training cues or commands you’re currently working on The more I know, the better I can keep your pet comfortable, safe, and consistent with their normal routine. I’m always happy to follow detailed instructions—consistency is key to keeping your pet happy and stress-free.
