About: We have been caring for cats since our childhoods. We pride ourself on being able to give them the extra care they need when not feeling well. Besides making sure the kitty litter is changed and your cat(s) have fresh food and water, we are also experienced at administering medication. Jim has even saved cats from fires.
About: I've had pets my whole life but it wasn't until I adopted a dog of my own that I truly learned what it means to care for one. I now have experience with reactive and fearful dogs, counter conditioning, desensitization, and canine enrichment. I just received notice of an indefinite layoff so I will have all the time in the world to do something I genuinely enjoy. I feed both my dog and foster dog using enrichment tools(snuffle, puzzle, Kong, find it) trim their nails with a Dremel weekly, give them meds daily. They're always so excited for their daily walks, rain or shine. Though our foster boy needs to be bundled up to handle the cold. I believe following a routine is important. Pets will be fed when they're used to, given meds as prescribed by your vet. Light grooming if requested (I may charge for more challenging grooms. Details can be discussed). If your dog is afraid of nail trims, brushing or anything else, we can work together on cooperative care to make necessary care less stressful for them.

“I'm beyond thrilled with Nicole. Before I met her, I sensed she has a deep commitment to caring for animals. The first time I met with her, my thoughts were confirmed. She was (and is) very honest about her lack of experience with cats. However, I had a feeling her desire to care for all animals would win over any lack of experience. And I was right. Nicole has cared for my 10yr old kitty many times. Most of the time, it's been drop ins if I'm going to be away for several hours. But the last stay she did for me was for 10 days. And she performed above & beyond, in my opinion. She sent daily updates and pics. But I really sensed that she cared about the wellbeing of my pet, and she wasn't just there to feed her, etc etc. I could tell she had a nice bond with my kitty, and it was a tremendous relief to know somehow who genuinely cared about my fur-baby was with her quite a lot of the time. Side note, my home was as clean as when I left for my trip. Nicole had washed bedsheets and towels, which I hadn't expected. So one less load of laundry for me to do :) I will use Nicole's services again and again. For kitty owners, don't let her apparent lack of experience with cats deter you from hiring her. Over the past 15 years, we owned a bichon and a maltese and I have enjoyed looking after my friends' and neighbours' dogs whenever they needed someone. I received my Pet First Aid Certificate in 2020 and I renewed it in 2025. I believe all dogs are special and I promise I will treat your pet as my own. I am available for dog walks, even in cold temperatures or temporary sitting at your home or mine. I am available weekdays and evening and weekends. One day notice before booking preferred or additional fees will apply bookings. I have a fenced-in yard & many doggy supplies such as beds, pee pads, dog bags, food bowls, leashes and treats. My family is usually at home to help out should I need them. We are a family of dog lovers! Please note, doggy daycare is an 8 hour day. Additional charges will apply ($10 an hour) and overnight is a 12 hour period. I accept most breeds of young to adult dogs up to 25 lbs. I am operating full-time as a Rover representative. About: I had two family dogs growing up for 12 years that we’re calm and easy to take care of, then I got my own dog who was the exact opposite. He had extreme behavioural issues, anxiety, epilepsy, and aggression. Taking care of him really taught me patience, added responsibilities, understanding and a different kind of love and appreciation as a caregiver.
