I highly recommend Sam. She was absolutely fantastic dropping in to take care of my 4 cats, including administering the one cat's daily inhaler for asthma. Sam was very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and thorough in letting me know how everyone was doing. Sam made my babies and myself very comfortable and confident in being very well taken care of. I look forward to having Sam back in future!

Lauren’s the best. She’s dependable, careful, thoughtful, and so good with animals. I’ve come home to really upset babies before, after either leaving them at boarding or with friends or a sitter, but this was the longest I’ve ever left them and they were so happy and healthy when I got home. That says it all.

Jonathan was quick to reply when we were in a pinch and needed last minute care. He was highly responsive, gave a nicely detailed note of his visit and our pup was clearly comfortable with him. Thanks so much, Jonathan!

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes for over 13 years. I grew up with pets, volunteered walking dogs at the Humane Society, and neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets. With my own dog of 13 years, I’ve experienced the full journey from puppyhood to senior care, giving me the skills to handle all life stages with patience and compassion. I’m a stay-at-home mom/small business owner with a very flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of time to devote to caring for your pets. Daily walks, playtime, and cuddles can easily fit into my routine. I’m available weekdays and weekends, and I’ll make sure your dog gets the attention and care they deserve while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I have a fenced good sized yard where pups can play and a dog to keep them company. I can also crate your dog if preferred. Since I have a young child, I will take on dogs who are good with kids, making for a loving, social, and family-style environment. Also good with other dogs and respect my older dogs boundaries of being cared for in my home. Within the past year we lost my first baby my black lab, my chocolate lab would love the company here and there of another dog that matches her lazy chill vibe to have around for overnights.

Shona is amazing! So glad to have found her! I just returned from a vacation out East and Shona came by my place every day to hang out with my senior cat Boogie. She fed her, changed up her water, cleaned out her litter, gave her treats, and most importantly gave her LOTS of pets! She even brushed her ❤️ which is no small feat since she's a big furry girl who doesn't really care for the brush! She sent me pics and left me updates on how the visit went which really put my mind at ease. Highly recommend Shona, she's great with animals and clearly puts her heart into what she does...will be using her again for sure, not just for Boogie, but also our doggo as Shona is a dog lover too ?

Kristen did a wonderful job. It seems that Callie (my cat) was quite happy with her which she showed by letting Kristen pet her. Kristen really looked after her and made sure that Callie got everything she needed and kept my her litter box in the basement clean. I will be traveling again next year and will be sure to use Kirsten's services again.

Andrea is amazing! I was very nervous as one of my dogs is highly reactive. Andrea came for a meet and greet and her own time and within 1min of her interacting with my dogs I knew things would be fine. Andrea cared for my pets exactly how I would and followed my wishes and wants to a tee, even sending pictures to show me my dog had eaten bc she hand feed him! I can not boost enough about Andrea and will absolutely be calling on her again.

About: I have fostered many dogs and raised multiple of my own from puppyhood through their senior years. I strive for every dogs comfort and happiness and bring patience to those who need extra time to adjust. I'm experienced in administering oral medication, even for stubborn dogs, and offer a highly flexible schedule to accommodate changes when needed I work 4 days on, 4 days off schedule, which lows me to dedicate four full days at a time to pet care, including walking, training, boarding, house sitting, and drop ins. During these days off, I am able to offer a high level of flexibility and accommodate schedule adjustments. If services are required in days I am working, I'm always happy to discuss and arrange a care plan that supports both your needs and mine in a comfortable and reliable way. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and welcoming environment for every pet in my care, whether in my home or a client's home. I foster pets frequently and currently have a foster dog who is very dog social, which helps create a positive and balanced environment for previous clients I have taken care for outside of Rover. I also have two friendly, social cats. If a pet is uncomfortable around cats, they are ways provided with a seperate room filled with toys and enrichment to ensure the client's pet is comfortable and to reduce stress. I have a large backyard that is currently unfenced and in the process of being fenced. In the meantime, I ensure dogs Recieved plenty of supervised outdoor time and regular trips to dig parts for safe play, socialization and exercise. I am especially patient with anxious dogs and am always willing to take the extra time to help them feel secure. Walks and activities will never begin until a dog is fully comfortable and ready

About: I've had pets my whole life but it wasn't until I adopted a dog of my own that I truly learned what it means to care for one. I now have experience with reactive and fearful dogs, counter conditioning, desensitization, and canine enrichment. I just received notice of an indefinite layoff so I will have all the time in the world to do something I genuinely enjoy. I feed both my dog and foster dog using enrichment tools(snuffle, puzzle, Kong, find it) trim their nails with a Dremel weekly, give them meds daily. They're always so excited for their daily walks, rain or shine. Though our foster boy needs to be bundled up to handle the cold. I believe following a routine is important. Pets will be fed when they're used to, given meds as prescribed by your vet. Light grooming if requested (I may charge for more challenging grooms. Details can be discussed). If your dog is afraid of nail trims, brushing or anything else, we can work together on cooperative care to make necessary care less stressful for them.

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life and have over 13 years of hands-on experience. I’ve volunteered in shelters, fostered rescue dogs, bathed them, cleaned wounds, and helped them transition into loving homes. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable with all aspects of pet care. Animals have always been part of my life, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I work part-time with short shifts on weekends, usually around five hours. Outside of that, I have a very flexible schedule and can fully dedicate my time and attention to your pet. When I’m caring for an animal, they truly become my priority. I enjoy spending quality time with them — whether that’s walks, playtime, calm companionship, or simply making sure they feel safe and loved. I care for pets with full attention and awareness of their individual needs. I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and behavior to better understand how they’re feeling and what they need. When I’m with an animal, I am fully present and attentive, always monitoring for any signs of discomfort, stress, or health concerns. Beyond meeting basic needs like feeding and exercise, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and nurturing environment. Pet parents can trust that their animals will receive dedicated care, patience, and genuine affection, as if they were my own.

About: I've always had dogs, cats, or tortoises at home. I love being in the company of pets. I am careful and attentive to the animal's needs, such as restrictive diets, hygiene, well-being, and leisure. I don't have a permanent job yet, so my hours are very flexible. I live in a quiet neighborhood, and my neighbors also like pets, so we won't have any problems. I live in an apartment with ample space and a large balcony. I don't mind pets climbing on my furniture. I live in a quiet neighborhood with parks for walking with a pet. I enjoy playing with cats and dogs and petting them.

About: I’ve always treated my pets like my children, they are a member of the family. If you want someone who will not only take care of your doggie, but give them love and attention, I’m your guy. Also dogs are allowed on furniture, my house is their house I currently work part time at home, right now my availability is very open. I also don’t have to work non stop I can take breaks whenever I want, so this allows me to actually be present with any dogs I’m sitting for I have a fenced in yard and a very large house. Just my hallway alone is big enough to play fetch with. I also have a 4 and a half year old daughter who loves dogs and is very good with them. She’s around 50% of the time and will probably spend more time with your dog than she will me:)

Sam is incredible - she's watched my 4 cats several times now and I hope to keep having her back as my guys absolutely love her. Sam is a warm, caring, genuine person which is evident in her communication and how quickly animals take to her (including my guys who can be a little tentative with others.) Most recently Sam watched my babies for an extended period and I had so much peace of mind being away knowing Sam provides incredible care and is super communicative in both lead up and during visits. Highly highly highly recommend Sam.
