“Luisa has been so great with walking our dog Chloe that we decided to try a drop-in booking. She listened to instructions clearly and Chloe had her dream date with Luisa. She fed her dinner, hung out and watched Bluey and even got a walk out of the deal - dream date. Luisa has been our go-to trusted dog sitter and we will continue to rebook with her.”

“Lauren is always great with our dog Ruby. We had a last minute family function to attend and she made sure our dog was in good hands. She was even able to add an extra visit as we had to leave a bit early. Definitely have peace of mind when booking with Lauren while we're away.”

“I highly recommend Sam. She was absolutely fantastic dropping in to take care of my 4 cats, including administering the one cat's daily inhaler for asthma. Sam was very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and thorough in letting me know how everyone was doing. Sam made my babies and myself very comfortable and confident in being very well taken care of. I look forward to having Sam back in future!”

“Charlene was wonderful. Our family took a two week vacation and Charlene took the time to ensure our cat, Eli, was happy, fed, and comfortable. The pictures each day were also a nice touch! Thank you, Charlene!”
“I need a sitter who is reliable to watch my service dog when I cannot be with her. Holly is an efficient communicator and I trust her in caring for my service dog.”

About: Hi I’m Katrina! I am a nurse, lifelong animal lover, and a dog mom to a Cane Corso mix and a toy poodle mix❣️ I’ve been around dogs my entire life and genuinely love caring for them. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or dog sitting, my goal is to keep your pet comfortable, safe, and happy in their normal routine. Being in healthcare means I’m naturally attentive, responsible, and calm in different situations, which carries over into how I care for animals too. You can expect reliable care, lots of affection, and photo updates so you know your pet is doing great while you’re away. I treat every dog like they’re my own (with maybe a few extra belly rubs). If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and experienced, I would love to help!
About: I have been an animal lover for my entire life. Growing up, I knew the name of every single dog in my neighbourhood. I have many years of experience with different pets, including puppies, dogs, cats, birds, and even squirrels. I’m the type of person who’s sitting on the floor playing with the dog or cat at a party. I have a deep care for animals and I will always look out for them as if they were my own pets. I will work with puppies on commands such as house-training, sit, stay, tricks, etc. during my visits if that is wanted as well. You can count on me to bring all the fun, love, and care to your pets while you’re away! I have open availability! 7 days a week for drop in visits, walks, doggy daycare, etc. I will always accept your request unless I have already been booked up by another client. I always treat your animals like my own! Love, care, cuddles, compassion, walks, playtime, and trust. I will always be respectful of your home and rules. I will follow any directions you leave for me to keep your pet as safe as possible in my care. Doggy day care will get the same treatment, including a large fenced-in yard to run around and play! Other pets will NOT be in my home during visits, so your pet will receive all the attention! Trails close by to go for long walks! Lots of blankets and toys to keep them comfortable!
“Johnathon did a perfect job caring for our energetic dog. Lou took to him right away and even got to play with his pup Finn. I definitely recommend Johnathon for your pet service needs.”

“Andrea is amazing! I was very nervous as one of my dogs is highly reactive. Andrea came for a meet and greet and her own time and within 1min of her interacting with my dogs I knew things would be fine. Andrea cared for my pets exactly how I would and followed my wishes and wants to a tee, even sending pictures to show me my dog had eaten bc she hand feed him! I can not boost enough about Andrea and will absolutely be calling on her again.”

About: Hello, my name is Eliane and I'm passionate about animals. I've worked as a pet sitter in Brazil, where I've had the opportunity to take care of several animals in my home while their owners are away. Count on me to look after your pet with all the dedication and responsibility it deserves! I'm currently studying and my timetable is very flexible. Below is information about availability: -Sunday: Available -Monday: Available from 1:00 pm. -Tuesday: Available from 6:00 pm. -Wednesday: Available from 5:00 pm. -Thursday: Available -Friday: Available -Saturday: Available The safety and well-being of the animals are my top priorities. I live in a small, fully screened apartment, ensuring a safe and risk-free environment for the pets.
About: I've had pets my whole life but it wasn't until I adopted a dog of my own that I truly learned what it means to care for one. I now have experience with reactive and fearful dogs, counter conditioning, desensitization, and canine enrichment. I just received notice of an indefinite layoff so I will have all the time in the world to do something I genuinely enjoy. I feed both my dog and foster dog using enrichment tools(snuffle, puzzle, Kong, find it) trim their nails with a Dremel weekly, give them meds daily. They're always so excited for their daily walks, rain or shine. Though our foster boy needs to be bundled up to handle the cold. I believe following a routine is important. Pets will be fed when they're used to, given meds as prescribed by your vet. Light grooming if requested (I may charge for more challenging grooms. Details can be discussed). If your dog is afraid of nail trims, brushing or anything else, we can work together on cooperative care to make necessary care less stressful for them.
About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life and raised my own dog, so I understand routines, behavior, and how to build trust. I’m especially patient with reactive or more sensitive dogs and take a calm, consistent approach that helps them feel comfortable and secure. I offer walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, with reliable daytime availability as I work remotely through the week. I’m happy to adjust my hours to fit your dogs care needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I take a calm, attentive approach and always follow routines and care instructions closely. I’m respectful of your home, mindful on walks, and keep you updated with photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
“Nicole is the BEST, I will 100% use her again. Very communicative, she sends lots of photos & videos. She also has the sweetest personality that’s why I picked her! Thank you Nicole :):)”

I strive for every dogs comfort and happiness and bring patience to those who need extra time to adjust. I'm experienced in administering oral medication, even for stubborn dogs, and offer a highly flexible schedule to accommodate changes when needed I work 4 days on, 4 days off schedule, which lows me to dedicate four full days at a time to pet care, including walking, training, boarding, house sitting, and drop ins. During these days off, I am able to offer a high level of flexibility and accommodate schedule adjustments. If services are required in days I am working, I'm always happy to discuss and arrange a care plan that supports both your needs and mine in a comfortable and reliable way. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and welcoming environment for every pet in my care, whether in my home or a client's home. I foster pets frequently and currently have a foster dog who is very dog social, which helps create a positive and balanced environment for previous clients I have taken care for outside of Rover. In the meantime, I ensure dogs Recieved plenty of supervised outdoor time and regular trips to dig parts for safe play, socialization and exercise. About: I am a pet lover, having owned several cats, guinea pigs & hamsters over the years. I love all breeds of dogs. Over the past 15 years, we owned a bichon and a maltese and I have enjoyed looking after my friends' and neighbours' dogs whenever they needed someone. I received my Pet First Aid Certificate in 2020 and I renewed it in 2025. I believe all dogs are special and I promise I will treat your pet as my own. I am available for dog walks, even in cold temperatures or temporary sitting at your home or mine. I am available weekdays and evening and weekends. One day notice before booking preferred or additional fees will apply bookings. I have a fenced-in yard & many doggy supplies such as beds, pee pads, dog bags, food bowls, leashes and treats. My family is usually at home to help out should I need them. We are a family of dog lovers! Please note, doggy daycare is an 8 hour day. Additional charges will apply ($10 an hour) and overnight is a 12 hour period. I accept most breeds of young to adult dogs up to 25 lbs. I am operating full-time as a Rover representative. Apart from my responsibilities for our own dog, I am available for most services on weekdays and weekends. Just check my calendar. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed to.
About: I will make sure that your dog feels loved while being away from your care. They will never feel alone because my job is to keep them company and make sure their mind is occupied by going for walks or playing in the backyard. Long story short, your dog will never be bored with me as I will be by their side every second we are together. I have had a dog for 8 years and I treat her like she is my dog child and your dog can expect no different. As for availability, I am pretty flexible and with some notice can be available pretty much anytime I am needed. I hope you trust that I will take good care of your dog child. I am currently working full time from Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. I have hour lunches to be able to go home during the work day and my husband is at home all day and is able to care for your pet while I am at work. I like to make sure I take extra good care of a client’s home and that I respect their space as I would want somebody to respect mine. I grew up in a house with a single mother who taught me how to maintain a clean house so I like to do the same when I am staying at someone else’s place. Same goes for their pets. I had my fur baby for more than 10 years between my high school and university years and I loved her more than anything. I want to care for your pets like it is her I am taking care of.
About: I had two family dogs growing up for 12 years that we’re calm and easy to take care of, then I got my own dog who was the exact opposite. He had extreme behavioural issues, anxiety, epilepsy, and aggression. Taking care of him really taught me patience, added responsibilities, understanding and a different kind of love and appreciation as a caregiver. I’ve also fostered dogs which has given me experience with different breeds and needs. I now share custody of a 4 year old border collie/golden retriever mix who LOVES other dogs and people. We worked with multiple trainers with him and learned a series of obedience training, off-leash training, and much more knowledge regarding dogs. I work from home and make my own schedule, so I’m available to take care of, play with, and pay attention to your pup always! We have a half fenced yard and a huge park near us to take the pup out easily! We also have a 2.5 storey house with a basement for lots of room to play and wander. I work from home and make my own schedule so I have plenty of time to play with and pay attention to your pup throughout the day! I have a backyard and a front yard for easy bathroom breaks. There’s also a huge park beside my house to run and play at, plus a bunch of trails to go for long walks!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Niagara Falls
Luisa has been so great with walking our dog Chloe that we decided to try a drop-in booking. She listened to instructions clearly and Chloe had her dream date with Luisa. She fed her dinner, hung out and watched Bluey and even got a walk out of the deal - dream date. Luisa has been our go-to trusted dog sitter and we will continue to rebook with her.

I had an amazing experience with Renan! He took great care of my dog and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. It was clear from the start how caring, responsible, and attentive he is. My dog absolutely loved him and came back happy, relaxed, and well cared for. It’s not always easy to find someone you can fully trust with your pet, but I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and loving dog walker!

Kirsten did a great job! She communicated regularly and helped out with the transition of our family blending and how our cat and dog were handling it all. She was very attentive and gave great feedback for us at the end to help make things even better for our fur babies. I would highly recommend her! Thank you Kirsten for all you did for our fur babies!

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Niagara Falls choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
