**Niagara Families: Thank you so much for trusting me with your beloved pets over the last several years! It has been such an adventure, and I’m excited to share with you that I am taking a step back from petsitting as I finish up school and relocate to Quebec for my first post-grad job! Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, I am in the area until the end of December and I would be happy to do what I can to help you transition to a new sitter. With gratitude, Shealin ❤️** I am experienced with a wide variety of animals from both petsitting and ownership. I have owned and cared for pocket pets (primarily guinea pigs, rats, and hamsters), as well as taken care of dogs ranging from pugs to Bernese mountains. I am especially experienced with cats, having worked with our local shelter to rehabilitate under socialized felines, as well as owned medically complex cats that required significant health related care. I am comfortable with a variety of animals, and happy to work together to make sure your family member receives the care they need to thrive, and you have the security needed for peace of mind while you're busy.

Shealin did an amazing job staying with my senior dog and young cat for three nights. You can tell she really loves animals and sent updates showing that my pets were settling in comfortably with a “new” person. Shealin is mature and responsible and very responsive to messages. I chose Shealin as she came recommended by a friend and I would highly recommend her too.
Shealin was 10/10. She went above and beyond while caring for our young cat. Very responsive, very loving and ensured our cat had enough play, treats, food and love. Would recommend if you’re looking for a cat sitter!
Amazing, super professional and wonderful. This is the second time (vacation) we have asked Shealin to kitty-sit our 17yr old fur-baby while we're away on vacation and we were delighted once again at her professionalism and care she gave our cat, and overall just general helpfulness. (We were delivered a plant while we were away, she reached out to ask how to manage that, she even shoveled our driveway for our return!!! (Sorry Shealin, not meaning to set expectations to high :) ) We've already booked her for our next vacation, and would once again highly recommend her services.
Shenlin was wonderful — very patient and attentive, and she took the time to understand all of my kitty’s little habits and quirks. I’m really happy to see how well they got along. Highly recommend!

I prioritize safety and cleanliness in the client's home - please let me know in advance of any particular hazards to be aware of in/around the property, or anything that might trigger a negative reaction from your pet. It is my goal to make their time without you as comfortable and positive as possible.
A typical day
I love letting dogs take their time exploring while on walks, and am happy to explore new areas or just spend time outdoors in their favourite place. I can facilitate other enrichment activities depending on the weather and the dogs preference. Cats in my house have access to multiple towers and lounge stations, cardboard scratchers, and a mix of independent and facilitated play toys :)
