I have a very flexible schedule and can typically accommodate last minute bookings for recurring clients. I typically need a full days notice in order to book a service with new dogs to give me enough time to balance my work schedule and to arrange a meet & greet prior to my services. Note: There will be a $5 fee added to services if there is a meet & greet no-show. Please provide a minimum of 4hrs notice if you aren’t available for a scheduled meet & greet or need to reschedule. I am very flexible but do appreciate my time being respected as meet & greets are a free added service with every client.

I have experience with positive reinforcement training and am always trying to further my own dog’s training. As mentioned above, I do require meeting with your pet prior to my services as I believe the owner and most importantly the dog or cat should trust whoever they are being left with.

Prior to meeting your dog, I would like to know if they have any allergies, behavioural issues, reactivity to certain triggers and health concerns. Allowing your dog to be comfortable around me before I am alone with them is an asset and understanding what they may be reactive to. I believe a meet & greet is an asset and I strongly encourage going on a short test walk with dog and owner for new dog walking clients.
A typical day
Depending on the dog and their health/energy level/reactivity, I enjoy taking walks around the dogs own neighbourhood where they are familiar. I will not allow dogs to meet & greet with other dogs along my walks as I never know the other dog’s temperament we are meeting. I have had unenjoyable encounters with other dogs with my own dog in the past and will only allow dogs who I am familiar with greet my own dog on walks. All walks will be done on leash as I am unsure of the dog’s recall I am sitting/walking.

I myself have a 4 year old Australian Shepherd named Walter and a 10 year old orange tabby named Nala. I am familiar with positive reinforcement training and am constantly continuing my own dog’s training. Prior to working with your pet, I require a meet & greet with you and your dog(s) or cat(s) to see if we are a perfect fit! This can include a practice walk with you and your dog, going over the feeding schedule, where to find the supplies, how they prefer to be pet/played with, etc. I want to provide the most trusted experience as every pet and pet owner is different.

We had a hard time finding someone who would take the time to work with our dog. Fynn is anxious and needs someone with patience to get to know him. Jenny has been the perfect choice. She is not just “ good with dogs “ she is knowledgeable, has experience, patient, and truly good with Fynn. We have her do drop in visits and a walk. She reassures us that fynn is taken care of every time she visits. We can not recommend her enough.
Jenny was fantastic with my two Golden Retrievers. She gave them everything they needed and more. I’ll certainly call her again and highly recommend her.
Jenny was a wonderful sitter for our Guinea pigs! Despite not having any experience with Guinea pigs she followed directions well and was very sweet with them :) she’s professional, kind and communicative. Would definitely recommend her!
Jenny was very accommodating for a last minute booking. Was able to do a meet and greet the night prior to our booking. Fed and walked my dog as requested.
