To make sure you and your pet feel completely comfortable, I like to learn about their needs, routines, and preferences ahead of time. Every pet is unique, and understanding their energy level, favorite activities, and any special instructions helps me provide the best care possible. I’m more than happy to schedule a meet-and-greet or phone call beforehand so we can go over everything and ensure it’s a great fit for both you and your pet!
A typical day
When I’m caring for pets, I love keeping them happy, active, and engaged! I genuinely enjoy walking just as much as dogs do, so if your pup loves long walks or outdoor adventures, I’m all in. I’m very in tune with each animal’s energy level and personality—whether they’re playful and energetic or more senior and laid-back. I’ll tailor activities to what makes them happiest, including playing fetch, tug-of-war, doing some puzzle games, or just relaxing and providing calm companionship. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away.

Pet care experience
As a retired teacher, lifelong animal lover, and long-distance walker, I bring energy, reliability, and genuine care to every pet I look after. I’ve had dogs of my own for years, and I’m the go-to dog and cat sitter for neighbors, friends, and family. I also volunteer at a rescue horse ranch, where I help care for animals of all sizes and temperaments — it’s one of the most rewarding parts of my week.
