About: I’ve been caring for dogs for the past five years through dog sitting for family and friends, as well as regularly walking and caring for my own dogs. I have experience with feeding, walks, playing, basic care, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. About: I have been an animal lover for my entire life. Growing up, I knew the name of every single dog in my neighbourhood. I have many years of experience with different pets, including puppies, dogs, cats, birds, and even squirrels. I’m the type of person who’s sitting on the floor playing with the dog or cat at a party. I have a deep care for animals and I will always look out for them as if they were my own pets. I will work with puppies on commands such as house-training, sit, stay, tricks, etc. during my visits if that is wanted as well. You can count on me to bring all the fun, love, and care to your pets while you’re away! I have open availability! 7 days a week for drop in visits, walks, doggy daycare, etc. I will always accept your request unless I have already been booked up by another client. I always treat your animals like my own! Love, care, cuddles, compassion, walks, playtime, and trust. I will always be respectful of your home and rules. I will follow any directions you leave for me to keep your pet as safe as possible in my care. Doggy day care will get the same treatment, including a large fenced-in yard to run around and play! About: I grew up in a house that raised dogs for show and for families. I am quite comfortable with small dogs like dachshunds to big dogs like boxers. I am also comfortable with any age pet . My friends often call me a “dog whisperer”. I am a retired occasional teacher. I am available April through November. I enjoy walking so it would be a great opportunity to take your pet for a walk. I previously worked in a pet rehabilitation facility where we helped pets recover from major surgery. I also completed a professional dog trainer certification through Canine Academy in Milton. Last year, I attended a workshop to learn low stress patient protocols for veterinary professionals and am fear free certified. About: First of all - I empathize with your tough decision; leaving your fur baby in the hands of another is always a stressful experience. I want to make sure this is a pawsitive experience for you - to answer any questions, send regular updates and photos of your fur baby being spoiled, feeling safe and comfortable in your absence - which would be stressful for them as well. I will not derail your training or nutrition routines as I know it takes a lot of work and dedication to raise a healthy, happy pet. I work full time M to F, 8 to 3. If by chance your fur baby needed to spend any weekdays with me, I’m happy to crate or provide a space free of dangers - garbages up, stairs downstairs gated off and peaceful music in the background. I can also ask my folks (retired) to stop by for a pet and a pee. Mainly - I am looking to sit during weekends (when I am fully off) and holidays (I get all school holidays off) - where it will be me and your fur baby from morning till night! Also - if your pet is more comfortable at his/her own home, I don’t mind having the discussion of me staying over with you. I think it would be really beautiful to get to know your pet like an auntie so that you all can rely on a familiar face as you travel and your pets grow older! I live on an acre of land, with a creek in my backyard. I do not live on a busy street, however, I do not have a fenced in property. I would never let your dog or cat outside to roam without myself at the end of their leash. I will gladly exercise your fur baby with toys, lick pads and long-tether leash walks, in the backyard, on the trails (depending on heartworm/tick medications up to date), but I would never let them out of my sight (I wouldn’t even be able to do that with my own fur baby as I don’t want them to get into anything and frankly I don’t trust people out there!!)

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life and I love them like they are my own children! I also pet-sit regularly for family. I am a nurse on a rotating 9-day schedule. I am available most weekdays and weekends, and I’m willing to work with you and your schedule if I can! About: I had two family dogs growing up for 12 years that we’re calm and easy to take care of, then I got my own dog who was the exact opposite. He had extreme behavioural issues, anxiety, epilepsy, and aggression. Taking care of him really taught me patience, added responsibilities, understanding and a different kind of love and appreciation as a caregiver. I’ve also fostered dogs which has given me experience with different breeds and needs. I now share custody of a 4 year old border collie/golden retriever mix who LOVES other dogs and people. We worked with multiple trainers with him and learned a series of obedience training, off-leash training, and much more knowledge regarding dogs. I work from home and make my own schedule, so I’m available to take care of, play with, and pay attention to your pup always! We have a half fenced yard and a huge park near us to take the pup out easily! We also have a 2.5 storey house with a basement for lots of room to play and wander. I work from home and make my own schedule so I have plenty of time to play with and pay attention to your pup throughout the day! I have a backyard and a front yard for easy bathroom breaks. There’s also a huge park beside my house to run and play at, plus a bunch of trails to go for long walks!

About: I volunteer at the animal shelter. I’ve been training dogs for almost 3 years now. I have worked with some really challenging dogs but also wonderful dogs as well! I’m a teacher so I am gone from 8:00 to 4:00 but I am able to stop in the let the dogs out on my breaks! After work I usually stay home every night so your pets will never be lonely. About: I will make sure that your dog feels loved while being away from your care. They will never feel alone because my job is to keep them company and make sure their mind is occupied by going for walks or playing in the backyard. Long story short, your dog will never be bored with me as I will be by their side every second we are together. I have had a dog for 8 years and I treat her like she is my dog child and your dog can expect no different. As for availability, I am pretty flexible and with some notice can be available pretty much anytime I am needed. I hope you trust that I will take good care of your dog child.
