“Anna made quick friends with our tabby Polly. She administered medication twice daily without any troubles. Anna’s a sensitive animal lover and is a great communicator. We never worried for a minute when Polly was in her care.”
About: Reliable local dog walker in St. Catharines 🐶 Experienced with both dogs and cats, I treat every pet like my own. I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have always loved caring for them. Growing up in Tobermory on the Bruce Peninsula, I spent a lot of time outdoors and around animals, which helped build my connection with them. I’ve had both dogs and cats throughout my life and currently have four cats with my girlfriend. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, going for walks, and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. I have a flexible schedule and am available for walks and drop-in visits throughout the week. I always prioritize safety and comfort, taking the time to understand each pet’s personality and needs. During visits and walks, I make sure pets are supervised, getting the exercise they need, and I keep owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind. Feel free to reach out — I’d love to meet you and your pet! I have a flexible schedule and enjoy spending time outdoors, so pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits throughout the week and enjoy taking dogs out for exercise and fresh air. I always prioritize safety and comfort when caring for pets. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality and needs so they feel relaxed and cared for. During visits or walks I make sure pets are supervised, safe, and getting the attention and exercise they need.

About: I've taken care of dogs for the past few years while pet parents are away. I am able to feed, walk and medicate dogs as needed, since I work in the veterinary world. I work full time at a local veterinary clinic 4 days a week, so that leaves 3 full days to cherish and love pets while pet parents are away on vacation. I have lived with cats all my life and have always loved visiting my friends and grandparents dogs whenever I was over there. I have also done some private dog and cat sitting with referrals from friends and family.
About: I have been an animal lover for my entire life. Growing up, I knew the name of every single dog in my neighbourhood. I have many years of experience with different pets, including puppies, dogs, cats, birds, and even squirrels. I’m the type of person who’s sitting on the floor playing with the dog or cat at a party. I have a deep care for animals and I will always look out for them as if they were my own pets. I will work with puppies on commands such as house-training, sit, stay, tricks, etc. during my visits if that is wanted as well. You can count on me to bring all the fun, love, and care to your pets while you’re away! I have open availability! 7 days a week for drop in visits, walks, doggy daycare, etc. I will always accept your request unless I have already been booked up by another client. I always treat your animals like my own! Love, care, cuddles, compassion, walks, playtime, and trust. I will always be respectful of your home and rules. I will follow any directions you leave for me to keep your pet as safe as possible in my care. Doggy day care will get the same treatment, including a large fenced-in yard to run around and play! Other pets will NOT be in my home during visits, so your pet will receive all the attention! Trails close by to go for long walks! Lots of blankets and toys to keep them comfortable!

About: Hi! I’m Kristen. I am a high school teacher and lifelong dog lover. While I don’t have professional pet care experience, I have been around dogs my entire life through family pets and spending time with the dogs of friends and relatives. I genuinely love being around dogs and getting to know their unique personalities. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing with toys, exploring new places, or simply relaxing with company, I’m happy to adapt to their needs. As a teacher, responsibility, patience, communication, and trust are a huge part of my everyday life. I understand how important it is to find someone you feel comfortable leaving your pet with, and I will care for your dog as if they were my own family pet! ☺️ As previously stated, I am a full-time, permanent high school teacher. During the school year, I am available evenings, all day on weekends and holidays. I very flexible and my schedule is completely open throughout July and August. My schedule is generally very predictable, which makes it easy for me to plan visits and communicate clearly with pet owners. I’m reliable, organized, and committed to providing updates so you can feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. Pet care is something I’m doing because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and I’m excited to meet new pets and their families.🐾 Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I understand that every dog has their own routine, preferences, and personality. I will carefully follow your instructions and routine to help them feel comfortable and secure in your absence!

About: First of all - I empathize with your tough decision; leaving your fur baby in the hands of another is always a stressful experience. I want to make sure this is a pawsitive experience for you - to answer any questions, send regular updates and photos of your fur baby being spoiled, feeling safe and comfortable in your absence - which would be stressful for them as well. I will not derail your training or nutrition routines as I know it takes a lot of work and dedication to raise a healthy, happy pet. I work full time M to F, 8 to 3. If by chance your fur baby needed to spend any weekdays with me, I’m happy to crate or provide a space free of dangers - garbages up, stairs downstairs gated off and peaceful music in the background. I can also ask my folks (retired) to stop by for a pet and a pee. Mainly - I am looking to sit during weekends (when I am fully off) and holidays (I get all school holidays off) - where it will be me and your fur baby from morning till night! Also - if your pet is more comfortable at his/her own home, I don’t mind having the discussion of me staying over with you. I think it would be really beautiful to get to know your pet like an auntie so that you all can rely on a familiar face as you travel and your pets grow older! I live on an acre of land, with a creek in my backyard. I do not live on a busy street, however, I do not have a fenced in property. I would never let your dog or cat outside to roam without myself at the end of their leash. I will gladly exercise your fur baby with toys, lick pads and long-tether leash walks, in the backyard, on the trails (depending on heartworm/tick medications up to date), but I would never let them out of my sight (I wouldn’t even be able to do that with my own fur baby as I don’t want them to get into anything and frankly I don’t trust people out there!!)

About: I’ve had a love for animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy. I have 4+ years experience at a doggy daycare care and kennel, with proficiency working with small, medium, and large dog breeds! My passion for animal care extends beyond dogs and cats—I also have a strong passion for small and large farm animals and have had lots of hands on experience working with them. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do; it’s something I truly love. Whether your furry companion loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a calm, reassuring presence, I’ll tailor my care to their individual personality and routine. I’ll be sure to send lots of photos and provide regular updates! I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! :) I’m currently working part time at a restaurant so, I’ll have plenty of time for walks, giving love, and playing with your pups! I typically work Monday, Tuesday and Saturday nights for around 5 hours each night. There is a big park just up the street from me with lots of grass and room for running around (however, it is not fenced in). I also have a small, black pug that is super friendly and will play with your dog!
“Sabrina was great with our Kitten! She played with him everyday and sent us tons of updates. She was also very organized with letting us know when she would be by and how much he was eating. Would recommend!”
About: I had two family dogs growing up for 12 years that we’re calm and easy to take care of, then I got my own dog who was the exact opposite. He had extreme behavioural issues, anxiety, epilepsy, and aggression. Taking care of him really taught me patience, added responsibilities, understanding and a different kind of love and appreciation as a caregiver. I’ve also fostered dogs which has given me experience with different breeds and needs. I now share custody of a 4 year old border collie/golden retriever mix who LOVES other dogs and people. We worked with multiple trainers with him and learned a series of obedience training, off-leash training, and much more knowledge regarding dogs. I work from home and make my own schedule, so I’m available to take care of, play with, and pay attention to your pup always! We have a half fenced yard and a huge park near us to take the pup out easily! We also have a 2.5 storey house with a basement for lots of room to play and wander. I work from home and make my own schedule so I have plenty of time to play with and pay attention to your pup throughout the day! I have a backyard and a front yard for easy bathroom breaks. There’s also a huge park beside my house to run and play at, plus a bunch of trails to go for long walks!

“Aaron was great! We have a cat and fish and Aaron did a great job looking after both. Rover is definitely dog focused so finding someone who knew how to look after my non dog pets properly was fantastic.”

About: Hello! My name is Julia! I am a passionate animal lover with 16 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes. I have a puppy of my own, her name is Maizy. She is 4 months old right now and she is a mix of border collie, husky and German Shepard. I have experience caring for my family dog and my own dogs which range from small to larger breeds. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime, fetch or cozy companionship, I'm here to keep tails wagging and your pup happy. I work as a teacher throughout the week, I leave in the morning and am not home until mid afternoon. This means I am always available in the later afternoon/evening and on weekends. I have a fully fenced backyard and direct access to a park, offering plenty of space for your dog to run! I have a puppy of my own so I have all the extra stuff available for your pets needs (food/water bowls, toys, etc)
About: I volunteer at the animal shelter. I’ve been training dogs for almost 3 years now. I have worked with some really challenging dogs but also wonderful dogs as well! My Instagram page for my dogs is The Shelter Dog Diaries. You’ll be able to see how much I LOVE them! I’m a teacher so I am gone from 8:00 to 4:00 but I am able to stop in the let the dogs out on my breaks! After work I usually stay home every night so your pets will never be lonely. I don’t have a fenced yard but I have a leash hook up in the backyard. I have lots of space in my home and enjoy taking walks too!
About: I am a friendly, energetic 26 year old who loves all furry friends! Growing up on a farm, I have had a long history of working with animals. I love dogs, and I began dog sitting and taking care of dogs when my family adopted our dog Riley 10 years ago. Through the years, my family has also fostered many dogs, and I have really enjoyed taking the dogs out for long walks, runs, and out to play. I would love to take care of your dog for you, whether they’re big, small, shy, outgoing, lazy or energetic. (I am also very good with cats and other small animals). I look forward to meeting you and your pet. When I am looking after a pet, their care is my top priority. I always put them first and give them as much attention as they need. I care for pets in my home very attentively and thoughtfully. If a pet has a favourite treat or a favourite activity or enjoys being pet a certain way I will make sure to give them that treat activity or walk.
About: I will make sure that your dog feels loved while being away from your care. They will never feel alone because my job is to keep them company and make sure their mind is occupied by going for walks or playing in the backyard. Long story short, your dog will never be bored with me as I will be by their side every second we are together. I have had a dog for 8 years and I treat her like she is my dog child and your dog can expect no different. As for availability, I am pretty flexible and with some notice can be available pretty much anytime I am needed. I hope you trust that I will take good care of your dog child. I am currently working full time from Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. I have hour lunches to be able to go home during the work day and my husband is at home all day and is able to care for your pet while I am at work. I like to make sure I take extra good care of a client’s home and that I respect their space as I would want somebody to respect mine. I grew up in a house with a single mother who taught me how to maintain a clean house so I like to do the same when I am staying at someone else’s place. Same goes for their pets. I had my fur baby for more than 10 years between my high school and university years and I loved her more than anything. I want to care for your pets like it is her I am taking care of.
