From my early days, I've embraced the responsibility of nurturing dogs, creating a bond based on trust, care, and companionship. Our House is made specifically with dogs in mind with playground and areas specifically for dogs to enjoy their time and interact with each other. We have created a playground specifically for dog friend on our main floor and basement space. I have ample time in my daily schedule for frequent potty breaks, play sessions, and training exercises. My flexible hours mean I can provide the extra care and attention that puppies require during their crucial growth stages. Ensuring their happiness and development is a top priority for me. Puppies hold a special place in my heart, and I've structured my routine to accommodate their boundless energy and needs. I ensure they have access to fresh water, a comfortable bed, and plenty of interactive toys. For clients' homes, I meticulously follow their guidelines, maintaining their pets' routines and providing companionship while also attending to feeding, walking, and any specific care instructions. My goal is to create a seamless transition for pets, making sure they receive the same love and attention they're accustomed to. Located at Niagara-on-the-lake my home has a backyard and a lovely route to walk the dog around.

About: Hi, I'm Kirsten, but you can call me Kirty as all my friends do! I've been looking after animals for other people in my life for as long as I can remember. This is where my passion lies and I want to spend as much time with animals as I can. I have years of experience with cats and dogs of all ages and breeds. I work a part-time job with fairly flexible hours, and have had to balance both working and pet care many times over the last 5 years. My main priority is to do whatever is best for the pets, so I always find a way to fit them into my schedule. I'm very easy-going so we can always find something that works, together! I've spent many days and nights having slumber parties with pets at the owners houses. Whatever the pet needs, I'm there! I've had to follow special diets, provide medications, and even dealt with night terrors. I love to care for every animal as if they're my own!

About: I grew up in a house that raised dogs for show and for families. I am quite comfortable with small dogs like dachshunds to big dogs like boxers. I am also comfortable with any age pet . My friends often call me a “dog whisperer”. I am a retired occasional teacher. I am available April through November. I enjoy walking so it would be a great opportunity to take your pet for a walk. I will only be able to come to your place to take care of your dog. I live in an apartment that does not allow dogs.

About: First of all - I empathize with your tough decision; leaving your fur baby in the hands of another is always a stressful experience. I want to make sure this is a pawsitive experience for you - to answer any questions, send regular updates and photos of your fur baby being spoiled, feeling safe and comfortable in your absence - which would be stressful for them as well. I will not derail your training or nutrition routines as I know it takes a lot of work and dedication to raise a healthy, happy pet. I work full time M to F, 8 to 3. If by chance your fur baby needed to spend any weekdays with me, I’m happy to crate or provide a space free of dangers - garbages up, stairs downstairs gated off and peaceful music in the background. I can also ask my folks (retired) to stop by for a pet and a pee. Mainly - I am looking to sit during weekends (when I am fully off) and holidays (I get all school holidays off) - where it will be me and your fur baby from morning till night! Also - if your pet is more comfortable at his/her own home, I don’t mind having the discussion of me staying over with you. I think it would be really beautiful to get to know your pet like an auntie so that you all can rely on a familiar face as you travel and your pets grow older! I live on an acre of land, with a creek in my backyard. I do not live on a busy street, however, I do not have a fenced in property. I would never let your dog or cat outside to roam without myself at the end of their leash. I will gladly exercise your fur baby with toys, lick pads and long-tether leash walks, in the backyard, on the trails (depending on heartworm/tick medications up to date), but I would never let them out of my sight (I wouldn’t even be able to do that with my own fur baby as I don’t want them to get into anything and frankly I don’t trust people out there!!)

Whether you’re interested in our walking service, overnight pet sitting, or other special occasion care, we’ve got you covered! We ensure every experience is lead with love, fun, and lots of care. Dog walking and pet sitting services are offered daily until 6pm usually. I'm currently available to provide overnight pet sitting from approximately 7pm to 7am. Daytime care for overnight pets is also available to be booked as walks or drop-in services at their respective rates. This is my full time job, so I can be flexible. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions regarding availability! I choose to provide overnight care in your home to ensure your pup is in the place that feels the safest and most comfortable. They get to stick to their routine and be surrounded by their own things, ensuring the least stressful experience during their time apart from you. Please keep in mind that my own dog (female, cockapoo) joins me for all overnight stays and most walking services or drop-ins, so your dog and you must be dog-friendly!
