From the onset of booking she made me feel completely at ease by setting up a video chat so that we could meet and I would be comfortable with where Elsa would be staying. Darien would send frequent updates of Elsa’s activities at her place and I could tell Elsa was so well taken care of by Darien and her family (she looked like she was right at home!!). I was also very happy to hear that Elsa got along well with Darien’s dog because Elsa is normally not a very social dog. All in all, Elsa had a comfortable and happy stay and I would definitely bring Elsa back for future boardings 😊!”

She can be a little anxious and picky with her food, but they were so patient with her and even hand-fed her to make sure she was eating. About: I've had pets my whole life but it wasn't until I adopted a dog of my own that I truly learned what it means to care for one. I now have experience with reactive and fearful dogs, counter conditioning, desensitization, and canine enrichment. I just received notice of an indefinite layoff so I will have all the time in the world to do something I genuinely enjoy. I feed both my dog and foster dog using enrichment tools(snuffle, puzzle, Kong, find it) trim their nails with a Dremel weekly, give them meds daily. They're always so excited for their daily walks, rain or shine. Though our foster boy needs to be bundled up to handle the cold. I believe following a routine is important. Pets will be fed when they're used to, given meds as prescribed by your vet. Light grooming if requested (I may charge for more challenging grooms. Details can be discussed). If your dog is afraid of nail trims, brushing or anything else, we can work together on cooperative care to make necessary care less stressful for them.

About: Having had my own cats each one is so unique and different. Cats are a pet that requires care that is custom to each individual. What works for one kitty will certainly not work for another. Some like engaging play while other cats enjoy a cuddle and some lovely treats.

About: My friends have always come to me first for any kind of help with dogs (general advice, training, walking, sitting). I used to be a volunteer dog walker at the Humane Society. I mostly work from home on my own schedule so I’m quite flexible mid-day to come play with your pup! I’m also a very easy going person. In my home: I live on an open acre amongst the vineyards by the lake, so I always have to keep dogs on leash around my yard. However if they’re trained, I am happy to let them off leash to run, play and swim. I have the hose ready and lots of dog towels available. In a client’s home: it’s up to the client but I like to start with a short walk and see if the dog needs more exercise (younger pup), or just needs cuddles (senior dog).

We traveled from the U.S. to Canada over the holidays and booked Andreas through Rover to watch our puppy during our international travels. We had the best experience with him! About: I have had cats and dogs and both are amazing pets each brings their own uniqueness to the family. I have in the past trained my dog as a St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog and he and I volunteered for many years. I have provided pet and house-sitting services for a few years now and with a recent move to a new area I decided to sign up for Rover and find new furry friends to watch. I am currently working as a remote English teacher and so working for Rover fits right in with my day. I look forward to spending time with furry friends. I do not care for pets in my home. Chloe is very high energy and generally over the top excited when she sees people. But Kitts calm, professional, but very loving enery calms her...We noticed it right away, which is great! Chloe liked her immediately. We adore our girl and feel she's in safe, experienced hands with Kitt. We highly recommend her!”

From the onset of booking she made me feel completely at ease by setting up a video chat so that we could meet and I would be comfortable with where Elsa would be staying. Darien would send frequent updates of Elsa’s activities at her place and I could tell Elsa was so well taken care of by Darien and her family (she looked like she was right at home!!). I was also very happy to hear that Elsa got along well with Darien’s dog because Elsa is normally not a very social dog. All in all, Elsa had a comfortable and happy stay and I would definitely bring Elsa back for future boardings 😊!”

“Really thankful I came across Teena and Wayne’s profile when searching for someone to watch my dog while I was away in Portugal on vacation. Teena and Wayne were instantly responsive and arranged for a meet and greet with my dog Karma prior to us deciding whether or not she would benefit and be a good fit for staying 12 days with them while I was away. The meet and greet went well, and I felt confident that Karma would be well taken care of while I was traveling.
