“Started with Lauren almost 2 months ago with several times a week to visit for 1/2 hr with my Bernese Mountain Dog for feeding and pee breaks in backyard . My dog Juniper is a very scared dog , overcoming puppy mill trauma. Lauren is very patient with her , and I love the photo and short text updates while I'm out of the home . Would highly recommend Lauren”

“Anna was a great pet sitter. She checked in on 2 cats for a week, making sure they had food, cleaned their litter and sent us excellent updates throughout the week. Even responding long after the check was done because I missed her original messages. Thank you for taking great care of our babies!”

“Stephanie’s communication during her daily drop in visits was amazing, sending a comprehensive update with photos daily. Her response time was very fast for all communication. Our cat was well cared for and she certainly won his trust by the end of the week, which was so nice to see! 😻”

“I highly recommend Sam. She was absolutely fantastic dropping in to take care of my 4 cats, including administering the one cat's daily inhaler for asthma. Sam was very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and thorough in letting me know how everyone was doing. Sam made my babies and myself very comfortable and confident in being very well taken care of. I look forward to having Sam back in future!”

About: My friends have always come to me first for any kind of help with dogs (general advice, training, walking, sitting). I used to be a volunteer dog walker at the Humane Society. I mostly work from home on my own schedule so I’m quite flexible mid-day to come play with your pup! I’m also a very easy going person. In my home: I live on an open acre amongst the vineyards by the lake, so I always have to keep dogs on leash around my yard. However if they’re trained, I am happy to let them off leash to run, play and swim. I have the hose ready and lots of dog towels available. In a client’s home: it’s up to the client but I like to start with a short walk and see if the dog needs more exercise (younger pup), or just needs cuddles (senior dog).
“Monica went above and beyond during our visit. Gave them love and attention. She did extra things for our furbabies. When we did our first meet I knew instantly she was kind and her kids were so sweet with our babies. Thank you again for looking after our babies. The photos made me happy to see our furbabies doing so well under your care. Sending you best wishes”

About: I've had pets my whole life but it wasn't until I adopted a dog of my own that I truly learned what it means to care for one. I now have experience with reactive and fearful dogs, counter conditioning, desensitization, and canine enrichment. I just received notice of an indefinite layoff so I will have all the time in the world to do something I genuinely enjoy. I feed both my dog and foster dog using enrichment tools(snuffle, puzzle, Kong, find it) trim their nails with a Dremel weekly, give them meds daily. They're always so excited for their daily walks, rain or shine. Though our foster boy needs to be bundled up to handle the cold. I believe following a routine is important. Pets will be fed when they're used to, given meds as prescribed by your vet. Light grooming if requested (I may charge for more challenging grooms. Details can be discussed). If your dog is afraid of nail trims, brushing or anything else, we can work together on cooperative care to make necessary care less stressful for them.
About: Hello, my name is Eliane and I'm passionate about animals. I've worked as a pet sitter in Brazil, where I've had the opportunity to take care of several animals in my home while their owners are away. I also had the experience and joy of taking care of my dog for 12 years, which gave me practical and in-depth experience of his needs and well-being. Count on me to look after your pet with all the dedication and responsibility it deserves! I'm currently working Monday to Friday, my availability to dropp off the dog/cat is on Friday after 4:30 p.m., but if you need it earlier, please let me know, my husband might be home and able to take care of it. The safety and well-being of the animals are my top priorities. I live in a small, fully screened apartment, ensuring a safe and risk-free environment for the pets.
“Jonathan was very easy to communicate and work with for this boarding . Very flexible ,helped Murphy enjoy his walks whilst we were away. Follows a very step wise approach which is very convenient and pleasing to deal with .”

About: I have had cats and dogs and both are amazing pets each brings their own uniqueness to the family. I have in the past trained my dog as a St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog and he and I volunteered for many years. I have provided pet and house-sitting services for a few years now and with a recent move to a new area I decided to sign up for Rover and find new furry friends to watch. I am currently working as a remote English teacher and so working for Rover fits right in with my day. I look forward to spending time with furry friends. I do not care for pets in my home. I have recently moved to area, and I rent so I cannot provide this service right now. I can come to a client's home, to provide the best care possible.

“Malcolm was very thoughtful and caring toward our two cats. He made sure they were looked after as if he were a family member checking on them. I can tell whenever we return from a trip how things went, and the cats act as if we were just at the grocery store and came back (not 4 days), which tells us they enjoyed their care. Malcolm followed our care instructions, and everything went smoothly while we were away. We would get Malcolm to look after our cats again in the future. A++++”

About: I am a friendly, energetic 26 year old who loves all furry friends! Growing up on a farm, I have had a long history of working with animals. I love dogs, and I began dog sitting and taking care of dogs when my family adopted our dog Riley 10 years ago. Through the years, my family has also fostered many dogs, and I have really enjoyed taking the dogs out for long walks, runs, and out to play. I would love to take care of your dog for you, whether they’re big, small, shy, outgoing, lazy or energetic. (I am also very good with cats and other small animals). I look forward to meeting you and your pet. When I am looking after a pet, their care is my top priority. I always put them first and give them as much attention as they need. I care for pets in my home very attentively and thoughtfully. If a pet has a favourite treat or a favourite activity or enjoys being pet a certain way I will make sure to give them that treat activity or walk.
