“What a great experience with Lauren! She stayed in our home while we were away for six days and took excellent care of both of our dogs and our house. The boys were happy and relaxed when we returned, and everything in the house was just as we left it - clean and well looked after. It gave us real peace of mind knowing that our pets were in such good hands. Highly recommend Lauren!! 😊”

“We can’t thank Lisa enough for the amazing and very attentive care to our pups while we were away. Stanley and Wanda are a handful and she cared for them with ease and love! We highly recommend Lisa and will definitely be reaching out for our next trip!”

“Emily took great care of our 1.5 year old dog who is having issues with separation anxiety. It is clear she loves dogs and made our boy feel comfortable and safe. Would highly recommend her services!”

“Both my dogs required medication while Holly stayed with them this weekend and she handled the extra responsibility easily and with confidence. She sent lots of updates via video and pictures. We came back to happy healthy dogs. Thank you Holly! Our dogs love you and we can’t wait to have you take care of them again soon.”

“Sadie was exceptional with our dogs and with our home. The dogs adored her, even our one that is very particular. Could not have asked for a better experience. Our dogs have never been calmer and happier upon us returning from being away. Thank you Sadie!!!”

“Marie was wonderful. We did a meet & greet prior to vacation and it was obvious she really loves animals. She stayed with our dog Walter for 5 days and he barely even seemed like he missed us lol. She sent daily photos and updates which really helped us put our minds at ease while on vacation. Plus you wouldn’t even have known someone stayed in our house, she didn’t leave a trace.”

About: Hello! I have 1 dog and 2 cats so I have plenty of experience for caring for animals. I’ve always been an animal lover, I’ve had a lot of rodents in the past as well. Animals are a passion of mine and I’m currently in school to becoming a vet in the future. I have experience caring for pets by ensuring they are well-fed, exercised, and comfortable in their environment. I'm attentive to their behavior and needs, and I prioritize their safety and well-being at all times. What sets me apart is my patience and ability to build trust with animals, even those who may be shy or anxious, especially with anxious dogs as my dog is one of them. I'm also reliable, and committed to following any specific care instructions provided by owners. I'm available basically everyday of the week as I currently don't have any other job. We can talk more about the details when we get in touch. As of right now I only care for pets in clients homes. I go on many walks throughout the day and play a lot with them. I make sure they have a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of attention. I follow the owner's instructions closely, including feeding schedules, and any special care. I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they are stress free. I ensure they are fed on time, walked or exercised as needed, and given lots of attention. I also keep the space clean and provide updates to the owner.
“Absolutely recommended Remy 100%. I was so happy to come home and the house was clean, the dogs were happy. I sincerely appreciate this so much. I am so glad I found someone for helping me and I will definitely reach out to Remy as a first contract in the future.”

“Such a lovely young lady came to my house to babysit my dog. We are very happy to have met Cassandra and will definitely be inviting her back. Punctual -yes, sent pictures - yes (many great photos), lovely personality-yes! Plus lots of play time outside as the weather allowed. Glad to have found you on Rover.”

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life and have over 13 years of hands-on experience. I’ve volunteered in shelters, fostered rescue dogs, bathed them, cleaned wounds, and helped them transition into loving homes. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable with all aspects of pet care. Animals have always been part of my life, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I work part-time with short shifts on weekends, usually around five hours. Outside of that, I have a very flexible schedule and can fully dedicate my time and attention to your pet. When I’m caring for an animal, they truly become my priority. I enjoy spending quality time with them — whether that’s walks, playtime, calm companionship, or simply making sure they feel safe and loved. I care for pets with full attention and awareness of their individual needs. I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and behavior to better understand how they’re feeling and what they need. When I’m with an animal, I am fully present and attentive, always monitoring for any signs of discomfort, stress, or health concerns. Beyond meeting basic needs like feeding and exercise, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and nurturing environment. Pet parents can trust that their animals will receive dedicated care, patience, and genuine affection, as if they were my own.
“We hired Kiara to sit our 2 dogs over a long weekend. As soon as I met her, I knew she was the perfect person for the job. Kiara immediately showered my dogs with sincere kindness and attention and they loved her back right from that very first moment. It was obvious she genuinely loves dogs. She listened carefully to my care instructions and asked appropriate questions about our pets as well as our home. While we were away, she kept us updated with short videos and photos and reached out to us whenever she needed clarification. She was prompt to reply to any of my inquiries as well. We felt very comfortable with Kiara looking after our dogs in our home. After our trip, we arrived to 2 happy dogs and our house being just as clean and tidy as we left it. In all, I would highly recommend Kiara to care for anyone’s dogs. She is trustworthy, kind and truly caring.”

“My dogs and I were very happy, Kristen interacted with them throughout, and kept me updated with photos and texts. I will definitely consider her again should I need someone to sit with them.”

About: I grew up with two dogs when I was growing up and it helped to teach me with maintaining their routines, trying to reinforce positive behaviors, taking care of their medical needs and administering basic medications, and recognizing signs of stress or discomfort early. I treat each pet like they are my own, making sure they get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection, along with updates so you always feel confident they’re in good hands. I strive to create a calm, consistent environment so dogs can thrive even while their owners are away. I'm currently working retail part time so I am flexible during the week and weekends. I usually have Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays off. Can do weekends per request I can take care of your furbabies however you need if they require certain medications, feeding schedules, walking or litter cleaning schedules I am flexible to work around you and their needs.

“I had Gillian dog sit my Oakley at my place for a full week. She treated me and my home with respect, took lots of lovely, Insta-worthy pictures of my dog, and left him tired and happy at the end of the day. We were very lucky to have been able to book Gillian for the week. Thanks so much!!!”
“Marisa was very kind and gave regular photos/updates on Plato. She communicated very well and was very accommodating with our fluctuating plans. Would recommend her services!”

About: I've taken care of dogs for the past few years while pet parents are away. I am able to feed, walk and medicate dogs as needed, since I work in the veterinary world. I work full time at a local veterinary clinic 4 days a week, so that leaves 3 full days to cherish and love pets while pet parents are away on vacation. I have lived with cats all my life and have always loved visiting my friends and grandparents dogs whenever I was over there. I have also done some private dog and cat sitting with referrals from friends and family.

Sadie did an amazing job taking care of Rambo. He’s a very high-energy Australian Shepherd and can definitely be a challenge, but Sadie understood the breed incredibly well and made sure he stayed stimulated, active, and happy throughout his stay. We received lots of photos and videos, which really put us at ease and made us feel confident that he was in great hands. It was such a relief knowing he was being so well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Sadie to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and attentive to care for their dog!
We were so thrilled to be able to go away on vacation and ‘try’ not to worry about leaving Haven - our Standard Poodle rescue with separation anxiety - for a week with Amanda. Haven bonded with Amanda from their first meeting. We were sure Haven would not walk further than ten feet with Amanda, if at all! With patients and many treats! Amanda was able to get Haven walking around our neighbourhood, within a couple of days. Amanda kept us up to date with pictures and texts on how Haven was doing which made us able to enjoy our vacation with much less stress. Thank you Amanda!

Charlene took the best care of my cat while I was gone! She sent constant updates, was very easy to communicate with and left my place clean and tidy. I appreciate her love of animals, ability to connect with my cat and give him proper play and affection while I was away.
