“Zaira communicates quickly and thoroughly. Machete didn't want to eat his kibble so Zaira provided him her wet food after asking me, which he happily ate. Machete had a great time meeting new friends, and we really appreciate Zaira's flexibility with drop off / pick up time for boarding. She had only a few dogs (her own and possibly 1 other with machete) so he was able to acclimate more quickly. We will definitely use Zaira again when we're in the niagara area.”

We had met with another sitter before them and it just didn’t feel right, but from our very first meet and greet with Heather and Matt, we immediately knew they were the perfect fit. We felt confident leaving Charlie in their care. They treated him like part of their family and truly loved him. Their communication was exceptional—we received regular updates and lots of photos, which gave us such peace of mind. This was especially important to us as Charlie had recently had surgery to remove a lump on his back and still had stitches. They followed all instructions perfectly and were so attentive and caring. Charlie is also very spoiled and loves being cozy with his blankets, and they went above and beyond by setting up his bed near the fireplace to keep him warm! We felt completely at ease the entire time and were so impressed that we’ve already booked another stay. We cannot recommend Heather and Matt highly enough.”

Her home was welcoming and a great place for Oakley to stay- a big beautiful backyard to run around, and she loved following Jamie around and hanging in the house. About: I am a huge animal lover! I have a lovely black cat that I adopted several years ago. She is the sweetest, a cuddle bug that loves belly rubs and even knows a few tricks! I absolutely love all animals, I'm the type of person to point out every dog I see while on a drive somewhere. I have a full and open schedule currently. Having a cat doesn't require a ton of time but she does love to spend time with me in the garden, she might be a little upset about that.😹 We have a full fenced in yard with gate, my cat is an indoor cat but comes out on supervision. Cats can be very harmful to the local eco-system so we keep a close eye on her! (we also don't want her to get to any plants that could make her sick!)

About: I've been around animals my entire life! Growing up we've always had multiple pets in our home. We've raised kittens into cats and puppies into dogs, all of this providing me with excellent hands-on experience with every stage of care in an animals life. Since I was 10, I've been responsible for feeding, walking, and looking after them. About: I grew up with a beautiful, high-energy golden retriever, taking him for walks and car rides, brushing him, and giving him tons of pets. As someone who loves animals but isn’t in the position to have a pet of my own, I take any opportunity I can to hangout and take care of them. I had the opportunity recently to dog walk a senior dog and pet sit a couple big dogs for a few family friends and loved every minute of it. I took them for walks and potty breaks, fed them, played with them, and made sure to keep them on their normal routine while their owners were away. I am a quick learner who is able to follow instruction very well and ask questions when needed, so if your pet needs any extra care (for example, administering oral medication), I am more than comfortable taking on new tasks. I am currently in between employment and am looking for ways to make some money while I gear up for a master’s program in Scotland this fall. My availability is very flexible (e.g. mornings, afternoons, evenings, week days, and weekends) as my only other commitment is helping my brother with special needs on occasion. I will have plenty of time to give extra care and attention to your pets. I am very respectful, making sure to treat your home and pets as my own and ensuring their safety. For walks, I’ll make sure to use your preferred collar or harness, take the same walking route if that is what your pet prefers, always picking up their poop and putting it in the proper garbage, and making sure the doors/gates are locked before leaving. If your dog doesn’t enjoy interactions with other pets or people, I will make sure to avoid those situations, or if they do, give them plenty of time to socialize. In the home, I will make sure any hazards are put away, food is secured, things are put back where they belong, and make sure off-limit places stay off-limits. I will follow all instructions and send questions your way if I am unsure about anything. Plus, I’ll send photo updates so you know your pet is happy and well when you’re away.
