We all know that it can be challenging for our pets to be apart from their humans - for dogs especially - so why add more stress to their lives by taking them away from the comforts of home? I specialize in pet-sitting in your home. Harmonizing with your pets’ unique routines, my foremost goal is to make each of your animals feel loved and heard throughout the care experience. I ensure there is no interruptions to the comforts of their daily lives, from personalized feeding and walk schedules, administering medication, satisfying special dietary needs, and beyond. I have been looking after people’s pets since Summer 2023 and have found a talent for bringing ease to even the most wary of animals. From a big-lunged Boxer looking to be loved, to a shy, elderly Ginger cat that chose me as her best friend, I pride myself on using my empathy to quickly earn the trust of every pet I have cared for. I am open to working with dogs and cats of any size or age. Book me for an in-house sitting, drop ins, or walks!

When I look after your pets, their needs come first. I am stepping into their home, so I abide by their routines, comforts, and needs. At the meet & greet, you and I will discuss what their average day looks like so that I can emulate the same experience while you are away. I personalize schedules for feeding, walks, and level of socialization. I have experience administering medication and working with pets with disabilities (blindness, lack of hearing, etc.)

Sadie did an amazing job taking care of Rambo. He’s a very high-energy Australian Shepherd and can definitely be a challenge, but Sadie understood the breed incredibly well and made sure he stayed stimulated, active, and happy throughout his stay. We received lots of photos and videos, which really put us at ease and made us feel confident that he was in great hands. It was such a relief knowing he was being so well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Sadie to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and attentive to care for their dog!
Sadie took very good care of Polly. Gave her lots of attention and sent pictures and videos. I would have him look after Polly again. He did make sure the cat was fed and tried to make friends with him.
Sadie was exceptional with our dogs and with our home. The dogs adored her, even our one that is very particular. Could not have asked for a better experience. Our dogs have never been calmer and happier upon us returning from being away. Thank you Sadie!!!

Schedule
I currently work Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-4:30pm, near Brock University. If you are located close by, I can take care of your pets during my lunch hour All day availability for pet care is offered Friday-Sunday Work full-time? Going on a trip? Book me any day of the week if your pets are used to being alone for 6-8hrs!
