I am currently a Masters of Science in Education student, hoping to become an Elementary teacher. I’m looking for some opportunities to care for some pets while I finish my studies. My program is completely remote, which allows me to be at home with your pet for the whole day. I go for regular walks and rarely go away on weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a residential neighbourhood with a fenced in yard. I love to spend time outside and walk to Gage park or down by the waterfront. I have two cats who are about 9 years old, and are quite used to dogs being around. They prefer to mind their own business and don’t interact much with dogs in the house.

Information Cassidy B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of any particular needs or quirks that your dog might have so I can ensure their safety and also be mindful of their comfortability and try to make sure they have a relaxing time while in my care! No demand is too big or silly!
A typical day
I love to start the day with a morning walk around the neighbourhood to get some sunshine in. A relaxing morning is a great way to ease into the day, before heading out on any adventures. I love taking dogs on nature walks or heading to the beach for some sun and water fun. I really enjoy ensuring dogs are receiving the physical exercise they need while also providing the neurological stimulation that encourages growth. Things such as snuffle mats, frozen treats, and puzzles I find to be excellent stimulation and regulation for higher energy dogs. I tend to ensure dogs gets some sort of neurological stimulation regardless, but find this especially important on days where the weather isn’t ideal to be outside for a long time.

Reliable, kind-hearted, dog lover
Pet care experience
I’ve been obsessed with dogs for my entire life. Most of my experience comes from raising my two dogs I had growing up. One of whom lived to be 16 with many health issues - including administering medication, carrying him due to limited mobility, and supporting him during seizures. I’ve worked as a dog sitter, boarding dogs in my home (to both friends and strangers), as well as doing regular check ins for acquaintances pets while they were away. This always includes a walk or two, feeding and watering, lots of cuddles and affection, whatever grooming may be required.

Reviews
Cassidy is an amazing pet carer. She’s taken care of my dog numerous times and she spoils her with tons of love. Cassidy enjoys taking my dog for long walks and to the nearby park to run around.
Cassidy is one of the most kind-hearted, gentle people I know. Her love for animals has always been super apparent through her affection and care for her own pets, as well as mine, and others. Cassidy has cared for my dog Leon - who definitely has his quirks, and so requires a very patient caretaker. She prioritizes the safety and wellbeing of animals, all while being gentle & patient with them. Cassidy has been around animals all her life, which is apparent through her knowledge of caring for them. She is responsible, reliable, and considerate. I could not say enough great things about this lovely person.
