“This was my first experience using Rover and Danielle made it the best possible ! She is an incredibly sweet and kind animal lover who made sure Emmie & Greycy had lots of attention during her visits. I really loved that she sent me a short message and picture while I was away to let me know everything was ok. She is 100% reliable and dependable. I won't hesitate to ask her to look after my girls again and know that I can go away without stressing about their care.”

About: Animals, big and small, have always been a part of my life. I grew up on an hobby farm owning dogs (black labrador retrievers), cats, and other small animals. Over the past 11+ years I’ve pet sat for friends and walked dogs for neighbours. I have worked at Global Pet Foods for the past 4 years and get to interact with many furry customers during my shifts! I currently don’t have my own pets, so yours will come first! I take the time to learn what makes each pet feel comfortable and happy, and I provide attentive, loving care every step of the way; whether that’s playtime, cuddles, or keeping up with daily routines. I know how difficult it is to be away from your pets and your home so I do my best to make sure both you and your pet(s) feel as comfortable and happy as possible. Providing me a routine info sheet about your pet’s preferences and quirks is highly recommended and appreciated! I’m currently studying at Sheridan part-time, so I have plenty of time throughout the week to care for your pets. I’m flexible with scheduling and make sure to give each pet my full attention, whether it’s for daily walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. When it comes to caring about someone’s pet in their home, I make it my top priority to understand that pet’s individual needs and daily routine(s). It’s important to me that your house is taken care, so you can come home to your happy pet(s) and a relaxing, clean space.

I would always treat your pets as if they were my own and ensure I am providing the best possible experience for them. I also do dog grooming part time and would be happy to provide you and your pet with my grooming services as well. Please message me to discuss further. I currently work full time but am available on weekends and evenings. Planning a weekend getaway? I will be here to ensure that your pet is well taken care of while you are away. About: Pets have been part of my life since I can remember. I have cared for the family dog to caring for previous roommates dogs. I really enjoy spending time with them and ensuring they are happy and healthy. As a professional first responder, I have gone into hundreds of homes to help and treat pet owners. Most of the time pets are very frightened during this time but I am almost always able to comfort them and make them comfortable to have a stranger in their home during a bad day. I am a full time working professional that works both days and nights. My schedule can be very confusing to understand and explain. To sum it up, I work longer hours but have a ridiculous amount of free time and days off. I have my full schedule a year in advance. My schedule gives me a lot of flexibility for dog walking and sitting. I would love to have pets incorporated into my daily routine rain or shine..or snow. It would be best to start with a meet and greet to ensure your pet feels comfortable. I would also inquire about any specific situations, food, or animals we should avoid.

Barb has been fantastic with Dawson. She is so thoughtful in making sure Dawson enjoys his visits with her playing with her various basket of toys! ... Dawson even fetched for Barb ... which he rarely does for me! Lol! Barb even went out of her way to celebrate Dawson's birthday! Barb has exceeded my expectations with all her care for Dawson, updates confirming her upcoming visits and report cards with photos of her visits.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
