Max was dropped off at 7:30 in the morning and picked up at 7:30 in the evening, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands throughout the day. Seema was extremely caring and loving toward Max. He had a great time playing fetch with her and was walked multiple times during the day. She made sure he was fed properly and well taken care of. Max also made a new friend, Yogi—an 11-month-old Golden Retriever—and they had an amazing time together, playing and running around in the backyard, even enjoying the snow. About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with family dogs and have had dogs of my own since 2009. I currently have two Golden Retrievers and have done extensive training with them over the years, including agility and rally obedience. I’ve been caring for and boarding dogs for many years and understand that every dog comes with their own personality, routine and comfort level. Because I work from home, I’m able to be present throughout the day and give your dog plenty of attention, companionship and care. My biggest priority is creating a calm, loving family environment where your dog can settle in, feel comfortable and be treated like one of our own. I work from home, which allows me to be available throughout the day. I live with my husband, and our two (adult) children, so there is often someone around to keep our four-legged guests company. Our dogs are a big part of our everyday family life, and any dogs staying with us are welcomed and included just the same. We have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Golden Retrievers who are used to having other dogs around. Dogs are welcome to make themselves at home, and we can easily accommodate a crate if that’s part of their normal routine.

She let us come over for a meet and greet with her and her dog Harlem to make sure it was a good fit. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with two dogs and currently have three cats who live with my mom. My boyfriend also grew up with dogs and cats and currently has a dog and a cat who live with his parents. We don’t have any pets living in our home right now. About: Hi, My name is Ariana, I always grew up around BIG dogs and when I was around 11 I started dog sitting and dog walking for neighborhood dogs. Over the last few years I have become close friends with a dog trainers and although I myself am not a trainer, due to learning from them over the years I have been mainly taught how to interact with dogs from trainers. I love an easy dog however, I am able to handle more complicated dogs due to my personal experience with traumatized rescues, reactive dogs and big dogs. Dogs in my life; I grew up with a lot of bigger dogs [think mostly rottweilers, dobermans and shepherds] and in 2015 my secondary family home got a Bernese Mountain Dog and I lived with 3 big dogs [Lab/Rottie/Shepherd, Ridgeback/Mastiff, Cane Corso/Boerboel/Boxer] for 5 years, a 2yo XL dog rescue who is very heavily trained and I was the primary pet sitter for him and walk him regularly, I have taken him overnight, longest straight care period was a week with daily training sessions and walks. Most of my experience is with dogs around 80-100lbs however I do have experience with smaller dogs! Skills and experience; I have a lot of experience with dogs who have more structure and training, so I will be able to keep up your training and have the confidence if your dog is more complex and reactive. I am able to keep up any training shown to me and ensure your dog has the same style structure and stability from me as they do from you, so the specific skills and commands will of course be different per client. However my personal base standard for structure/training when I have the dogs in my personal life in my care would be as follows; your standard commands [such as sit, lay down, stay, paw, etc], basic door manners [no crowding doors, if leaving to go outside sitting and waiting for a 'free' command to avoid door rushing, no jumping on the door], structured walking manners [walking at pace/no pulling, sitting before crossing roads, ignoring/no barking at other dogs or people]. Then in my home there is no animals on beds, or couch unless earned [listening to me and if they don't couch privileges are removed for time being]. I currently freelance so my schedule is quite open and flexible. Due to that, I have an odd schedule, so I am generally able to organize things around your visit. Due to my fairly flexible schedule I am able to ensure your dog is able to be let out pretty much at any time since there are no restrictions keeping me in one spot for any extended period of time. In my Home; Available upon request; my house is not fully set up for a dog so you would need to provide crate, bed, fav toys, food, etc. I have bowls, some treats (although please provide if they have any treat restrictions) and a basic leash as well as poop bags and such. My yard is not fully fenced however there are grassy areas, lots of trails and parks to go to. I will never bring your dog to a dog park unless it’s empty as I believe they often create behavioural issues and don’t feel comfortable in that environment. If your dog likes long walks or hikes I’m more then happy to take them on some of the beautiful trails around my house to get some energy out! In your Home; I will sit outside and supervise your dog at all times for potty breaks and playtime, I will ensure your pet is keeping your normal house rules (as well as my basic obedience rules I have for the dogs I watch). I'll also ensure your home is at the very least in the state I arrived to, if not more clean.

About: My first pet as a kid was a cat my family rescued. When I was in high school I volunteered for 4 years at the Hamilton SPCA doing dog walks . And cats and small animal socializing. Career wise I worked in the child care field for 10+ years in different roles. In 2024 I changed jobs to house cleaning I also adopted a rescue senior cat that I later found out had diabetes in 2023 ❤️🩹 My work schedule is flexible. But right now because I’m new on rover and things are slow I’m working mon - Fri So will be available for weekends . I can accommodate a week long booking I just need some notice to book the days off at work I care about animals like they are my own . And do my best to make sure they feel safe and loved and give them my time and attention , I do treat my experience as life long learning . I have a good friend who had her own private dog sitting business for over 10 years she did many workshops over the years she’s a wealth of knowledge for me . But I’m trying to catch up and learn about dog training and things like dog cpr online. So I can be the best dog and cat sitter for your beloved.
About: Friends and neighbours rely on me to care for their pets. My kids (9 + 6) also love to help provide love and care to the pets in our life. We currently dog sit for my friend’s floofy sheepadoodle in our home multiple times a year. We walk many neighbours dogs, and cat sit when they are away. I have also been a cat owner for most of my adult life. I am self employed and work from home therefore I have an extremely flexible schedule. I don’t have any of my own 4 legged pals right now as my oldest son plays rep sports throughout the year (hockey and baseball) which brings us on the road a lot for tournaments and travel games. It wouldn’t be appropriate to get our own family pet right now but we would LOVE to care for yours when we are home ♥️. If you are comfortable, we can also bring your dog to the ball park to enjoy some fresh air and extra cuddles. “We first met Jonathan the night before his first walk with our flat-coated retriever Jax. He threw the ball for Jax - the two got along right away! The next morning Jonathan was punctual for his walk with Jax. He took him for a 65 minute walk in the pouring rain. He posted a picture of Jax in his cute rain coat and let us know that Jax took two bathroom breaks. This is a start to a great friendship!”
About: I grew up with pets and love taking care of them. My first pet Barney was my best friend growing up. We would play every day and I would feed her, brush and bathe her and clean her litter. She was a special part of the family for 16 years. My next pet Aiden was a very special part of my life. I always took good care of him and he was a real comfort to me when I was feeling down. I had another pet Rambo who just recently passed. She was almost 17 years old. I saved her because nobody wanted her and we always had a special bond. I appreciate their unique personalities. I am very caring and gentle. I currently work for Vogue Models & Talent which is based in Hamilton, Toronto and Vancouver. It's a fun and creative job and I enjoy it very much. I have a fenced in yard and my house is very clean and safe. I always keep my eye on the pets I care for.

Seema was extremely caring and loving toward Max. He had a great time playing fetch with her and was walked multiple times during the day. She made sure he was fed properly and well taken care of. About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with family dogs and have had dogs of my own since 2009. I currently have two Golden Retrievers and have done extensive training with them over the years, including agility and rally obedience. I’ve been caring for and boarding dogs for many years and understand that every dog comes with their own personality, routine and comfort level. Because I work from home, I’m able to be present throughout the day and give your dog plenty of attention, companionship and care. My biggest priority is creating a calm, loving family environment where your dog can settle in, feel comfortable and be treated like one of our own. I work from home, which allows me to be available throughout the day. I live with my husband, and our two (adult) children, so there is often someone around to keep our four-legged guests company. Our dogs are a big part of our everyday family life, and any dogs staying with us are welcomed and included just the same. We have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Golden Retrievers who are used to having other dogs around. Dogs are welcome to make themselves at home, and we can easily accommodate a crate if that’s part of their normal routine.
“I just want to say how fantastic Lina was to my sweet pup Daisy. This was my first time using Rover and my first time using a boarder ever and Lina was so friendly, accommodating, and understanding. She let us come over for a meet and greet with her and her dog Harlem to make sure it was a good fit. Harlem and Daisy instantly got along and it made me feel so much better about boarding knowing she had a friend all weekend. I work as a teacher during the week, so I’m typically available after 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday and after 4:30 PM on Fridays. I’m home most Friday nights and usually have plenty of availability on weekends, which gives me lots of time for walks, playtime, and keeping your dog company. My schedule can change from time to time, so I’ll always keep my Rover availability updated so you know when I’m free! I want every dog I care for to feel comfortable and at home. I have a fully fenced backyard with lots of space to run around, play, and get some fresh air. I also have an extra dog bed, toys, and treats available to help them settle in and enjoy their stay. When caring for a dog in their own home, I’m happy to follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I know every dog is different, so I’m always happy to adjust based on what makes them happiest and most comfortable.

Archie also takes medications and has a specific diet that Emmie was able to accommodate to with no problem. We were gone for 5 days abroad and she was super communicative, sending pictures, and overall giving us updates on Archie's stay.
