With our trip coming up, we found Shelly and her family at the very last minute and didn’t even have time for a meet‑and‑greet. What immediately drew us in was that they had young kids even more than having their own dogs because she absolutely loves children. Leaving him for more time than usual had me a bit anxious at first, but they completely put me at ease right from the start. They know all of his little quirks by now and somehow make everything look easy — from keeping up with his picky eating to making sure he feels totally at home. Every update and photo they sent showed a dog who was relaxed, happy, and clearly enjoying himself. It felt less like I left him with sitters and more like he was hanging out with family. About: I'm a huge animal lover, having lived with them my entire life. I grew up with two dogs, and as I got older another dog, cats and fish were added to the mix. Additionally, while growing up I was trusted enough to pet-sit other dogs overnight at my house, as well as cat-sitting for neighbours several times. As I mentioned earlier, I grew up with a deep love for our family pets, to the point that one of our dogs, Abigail, became my emotional support animal. Our bond was so strong that she passed away peacefully in my arms on our way to the vet at almost sixteen years of age. Currently, I own a very energetic one-year-old pug named Delphini, who's training has been challenging, to say the least, but I love every moment of it. No challenge is too big! I'm currently living with my ninety-five year old grandfather and partially supporting him as well as my mother who is a quadriplegic, whilst also volunteering and searching for a part-time job. Any appointments and/or meetings I have predominantly take place throughout the day, with plenty of breaks in-between, so I'll have plenty of time to play and/or walk with your pet(s) and make sure that they're getting all the love and attention they deserve! My schedule is fairly flexible, so I'm certain that we'll be able to arrange something to your utmost satisfaction. Having grown up with dogs and in later years cats, I have a cornucopia of experience with cats and dogs of all sizes and ages. I'm always patient and calm when meeting and caring for new furry friends, which enables me to reassure owners that their beloved pets are in capable and trustworthy hands. I'm very flexible, and will always leave your home cleaner than when I arrived. Additionally, I will maintain any schedules you have set and will make sure that your pets get extra love during your time apart. With our trip coming up, we found Shelly and her family at the very last minute and didn’t even have time for a meet‑and‑greet. We knew the transition would be hard for her, but Shelly and her family went above and beyond. They sent us daily updates, were incredibly patient, and gave her the space she needed.
