About: We are a family who absolutely loves animals and of we’ll be ready to provide your pet with lots of love, play time and care all around. Our last pet was a Bernese Mountain dog, he was with us from 8 weeks old up until sadly his passing last year. We are ready to open our home to your pet so they can feel at home away from home. Both my wife and I work from home with very flexible schedules. We’ll be available all day to provide for your pet’s needs, making sure they’re never alone. We have a fenced yard in our home, walking trails and parks nearby for daily exercise. Dogs can roam free in our home or crate if needed.

About: Former Bernese Mountain Dog owner with extensive foster experience with large breed dogs. I understand the unique needs of gentle giants — their exercise needs, their strength, and how much they just want to be near their people. I'm home full-time on maternity leave, so your dog gets round-the-clock company, a big fenced yard to stretch out in, and a calm, structured routine. I board just one dog at a time, so every pup gets my full attention. You'll also meet my 4lb co-pilot, Willie Nelson — he runs the house, so I only take dogs who are kind to little guys. I care for our children full-time so I am always here for care, love, and attention. Pet care fits naturally into my day: morning and evening walks, midday yard time, and a calm house in between. I'm available weekdays and flexible on weekends. There are two young children in our home, plus our 4lb dog Willie. If you're comfortable with your dog being around kids, they're welcome to join in family life — but it's absolutely not required. We can keep things completely separate: there are doors between the living spaces inside the house and separate access to the backyard, so your dog can have their own space whenever needed. Any time dogs and children are together it's always supervised. Boarders get a cozy sleeping setup away from the kids' rooms, and our large fenced yard means plenty of safe outdoor time.

Their communication was exceptional—we received regular updates and lots of photos, which gave us such peace of mind. This was especially important to us as Charlie had recently had surgery to remove a lump on his back and still had stitches. They followed all instructions perfectly and were so attentive and caring. Charlie is also very spoiled and loves being cozy with his blankets, and they went above and beyond by setting up his bed near the fireplace to keep him warm! Nigel and his family treated Tux with so much love and care, Tux went on many walks ,had plenty of room in the house and had a great backyard to play in !. I had absolutely no worries leaving our dog with Sophie and Lucas. Their own dog is a sweetheart, and an excellent playmate. They provided pictures regularly so that I could see that our puppy was healthy and happy. She received regular walks and it was very clear that she felt at home there. I would book again with them without a doubt.
This was our first time leaving our puppy. Barbara was a perfect fit. We had a meet and greet before hand and I felt very comfortable leaving Bentley in her care while we would be away. I did not worry about him at all while we were gone, I knew he was getting lots of love and care and that was worth so much for me as I tend to be an anxious person. I would not hesitate to recommend Barbara to anyone, and I am certain Bentley will be thrilled to return to her the next time we go away.
