About: I’ve grown up with dogs for the past 8 years, so caring for them has always been a big part of my life. I started dog sitting for friends and family in high school and still regularly look after dogs today. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, and I understand that every dog has their own routine and needs. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, feeding, or just hanging out and keeping them company, I make sure they get plenty of attention and feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. My goal is to make sure you can leave knowing your dog is in good hands and getting the same care and attention they’re used to at home. I work as a teacher during the week, so I’m typically available after 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday and after 4:30 PM on Fridays. I’m home most Friday nights and usually have plenty of availability on weekends, which gives me lots of time for walks, playtime, and keeping your dog company. My schedule can change from time to time, so I’ll always keep my Rover availability updated so you know when I’m free! I want every dog I care for to feel comfortable and at home. I have a fully fenced backyard with lots of space to run around, play, and get some fresh air. I also have an extra dog bed, toys, and treats available to help them settle in and enjoy their stay. When caring for a dog in their own home, I’m happy to follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. About: My first pet as a kid was a cat my family rescued. When I was in high school I volunteered for 4 years at the Hamilton SPCA doing dog walks . And cats and small animal socializing. Career wise I worked in the child care field for 10+ years in different roles. In 2024 I changed jobs to house cleaning I also adopted a rescue senior cat that I later found out had diabetes in 2023 ❤️🩹 *** recent update . Because my landlady is also boarding dogs . And her place is small she asked that I no longer do it . My work schedule is flexible. I can accommodate a week long booking I just need some notice to book the days off at work I care about animals like they are my own . And do my best to make sure they feel safe and loved and give them my time and attention , I do treat my experience as life long learning .
