“Susie was amazing! We hired her for our wedding to take care of our dog Princess during the ceremony and afterwards. She was very attentive and bonded with Princess easily. She helped contribute to the ease of the day and we did not have to worry at all about the safety of Princess as Susie kept us updated. 10/10 would recommend!”

8. Lisa S.

“It’s my first time leaving my pets (2 dogs and 1 cat) to a non family member for a very long period of time. Me and my husband went to see family and got married in the US and were away for about 15 days. Lisa and her husband Rob gave many frequent updates! She was very communicative and when some surprises arose, she was very quick to act. She even helped take the garbage out for the 2 weeks we were away. When we came back home, it was very clean and tidy! And the fur babies are all happy and healthy! My fur babies love her so much. She even was able to brush our cat’s fur!! He used to hate having it brushed. I can go on and on, but I’m overall so happy that our pets were very well loved and taken care of while we were away! I highly recommend her! And I’d gladly rebook her for any future trips!”

12. Mary M.
About: I have always loved dogs and their companionship. I grew up among various breeds including German Shepherds, Labs, and presently, Samoyeds. I have experience pet sitting for friends and family members. I'm comfortable working with small to big dogs and cats as well. I'm looking to extend my care and love for pets further and provide reassurance and peace of mind while you are away. I am currently a proud dog mom of a 3 year old Sammie named Sahara, whom I cherish deeply. Having raised a puppy during Covid, it was extremely challenging but a rewarding feeling having a companion during such a difficult time. I love my girl so much that I spoil her at every opportunity I can get. She is a fluffy, sweet girl that is so friendly with other people and dogs. It didn't take long for the cuteness of a Samoyeds to rub off onto my sister, so Sahara is now a big sister to her 1 year old brother. They enjoying playing at the park together along with their Rottweiler best friend that she grew up with. I know how important it is to take the health of our dogs seriously making sure they stay active and well-exercised. I love playing fetch, tug of war and making sure that they have been properly exercised. Mental enrichment is also just as important as physical, I am enthusiastic about teaching new tricks and reinforcing existing ones. I am also committed to enriching their lives by varying our walking routes, allowing them to explore new environments and scents so our walks would never be boring. Our dogs do so much for us and it would be my pleasure to extend the same level of care and affection to your beloved pets. I recognize the significance of establishing a consistent routine for our furry companions. My daily practice involves providing my dogs with a 60-minute walk, along with visits to parks where they can run and play. I love going on trail walks and discovering new places with my dogs where they can smell new things. I also understand the importance of maintaining stability for our pets. I am more than willing to adapt to and uphold any existing routines you have established with your dog — the more I know about your pet the better! Safety is my number one priority! I know the level of anxiety we feel entrusting our dogs to someone new, and I want to assure you of my unwavering commitment to their well-being. Rest assured, your dog will never be left unattended or taken to places such as dog parks without your explicit permission. I'm very vigilant about avoiding walks during the hottest parts of the day to prevent dehydration. I would love to stay connected while you're away and send updates throughout the day whether that is pictures or videos to relieve any anxiousness. I'm a very caring, responsible person and wouldn't treat someone else's dog unlike my own.

13. Danielle B.

“Danielle was an amazing caretaker for our little Penny, who is known to need almost constant snuggles and love. We were gone for a week and came home to a dog that barely noticed we were gone, she was so well loved while we were away. Will definitely be reaching out to Danielle again for any future needs!”

14. Phanie B.

“This is our second time having Phannie as our house sitter and never felt safer travelling while having her watch our pups.Consist and communicated all updates needed, would highly suggest her for your dog sitting needs.”

15. Joelle S.
“We have been so lucky to have Joelle as our house and dog sitter. She manages our 100lb strong excitable dog well and treats her like her own. We know our dog loves her and always wants to snuggle at night too. Our house is always just the way we left it when we return. Joelle’s communication is excellent and we often ask her to walk our pup on short notice with no issues! I highly recommend Joelle as a very responsible caregiver and dog-owner herself.”

16. Mateo A.

“I was worried about using the rover app for the first time. Especially with such a young puppy at home. Mateo made it a stress free experience. With the frequent updates and pictures, it put our minds at ease. Will definitely be requesting him again.”

17. Krupa J.

“Krupa is truly amazing with dogs and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy sitter. She has cared for our Gus several times and he gets so excited when she visits. Our puppy can be very energetic but Krupa has a special way of lovingly and calmly keeping things in order. She always goes above and beyond to ensure Gus is happy and well taken care of while regularly communicating details of the visit. We are so fortunate to have found Krupa and will regularly book with her.”

19. Holly P.

“Holly was so sweet and caring with our two big dogs! She asked plenty of questions to make sure everything was perfect for the dogs. She was amazing dog sitting for Moose and Daisy and kept us up to date. Thank you Holly!”

20. Sam P.

“I needed to leave town for a few days to attend a family funeral only two weeks after welcoming my wee three month old puppy. Leaving my very young puppy was heartbreaking. Furthermore, my beloved older dog was thick in the throes of new puppy depression (not eating, hunger barfs, deep sadness). A meet and greet with Sam set my heart at ease. She provided meaningful updates and bent over backwards to accommodate puppy needs and old depressed dog needs. I returned to refreshed and happy dogs. My gratitude abounds. She is outstanding.”
