About: I’ve cared for pets of many different species from large and small dogs to cats, bunnies, and fish since I was 10 years old. Because of this, I'm comfortable with handling different temperaments, routines, and specialized care needs! While I love pets of all shapes and sizes, I have more experience with larger breeds, but I thrive with low to medium energy dogs. That said, I grew up with a Doberman, a Belgian Malinois, and a French Mastiff. I am very familiar with both high-drive breeds and gentle giants. I actually formed the strongest bond with my French Mastiff over our shared love of sleeping! As I’m not in school at the moment I currently have an open and highly flexible schedule, I can adapt to your pet's routine and needs. My main commitment outside of pet sitting is caring for my own pets at home, my cat and three bunnies! Because my time is so flexible, I can offer dedicated time, attentive care, and flexible drop-in or sitting hours. I prioritize communication, safety, and respect for your home! I’ll send frequent photo and video updates so you know your pet is thriving. Before any booking, I make sure to write down all key details, including your pet's routine, feeding instructions, emergency contacts, and household rules so everything runs smoothly!

About: I have experience caring for dogs since I was a child. I'm very active, so they won't lack exercise. I'm currently studying to become a dog trainer. I can care for pets of all ages and adapt to their needs and those of their owners. I can administer medication if necessary. For now, I have time to care for pets every day of the week and on weekends. Write to me so we can work out a schedule. I have a house where I can take them in. There are no other dogs in case they are reactive. They will receive exercise, affection, medication if necessary, and mental and physical stimulation.

About: I’ve been lucky to be the favourite “uncle” to four amazing dogs over the years: two playful Black Labs and two lovable Rhodesian Ridgebacks, along with plenty of experience caring for puppies and dogs of all sizes. I have a flexible schedule as I'm studying part-time in graduate school for psychotherapy from home throughout the week, which gives me plenty of time to devote to pet care. Living in a house with lots of space, I'm able to give your dog the attention and exercise they need while you're away. Whether it's a quick walk, playtime, or just some cozy downtime, I’m happy to work around your pet’s needs and your schedule! When caring for your pet, my top priorities are safety, trust, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for in their environment. I understand that leaving your pet in someone else’s care is a big responsibility, and I want you to feel confident knowing they are in good hands. I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs they may have, whether that includes feeding schedules, exercise preferences, medications, or their favourite ways to relax. Communication is extremely important to me, which is why I provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every pet and home with the same respect, patience, and attention to detail that I would expect for my own.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs for the past 8 years, so caring for them has always been a big part of my life. I started dog sitting for friends and family in high school and still regularly look after dogs today. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, and I understand that every dog has their own routine and needs. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, feeding, or just hanging out and keeping them company, I make sure they get plenty of attention and feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. My goal is to make sure you can leave knowing your dog is in good hands and getting the same care and attention they’re used to at home. I work as a teacher during the week, so I’m typically available after 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday and after 4:30 PM on Fridays. I’m home most Friday nights and usually have plenty of availability on weekends, which gives me lots of time for walks, playtime, and keeping your dog company. My schedule can change from time to time, so I’ll always keep my Rover availability updated so you know when I’m free! I want every dog I care for to feel comfortable and at home. I have a fully fenced backyard with lots of space to run around, play, and get some fresh air. I also have an extra dog bed, toys, and treats available to help them settle in and enjoy their stay. When caring for a dog in their own home, I’m happy to follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I know every dog is different, so I’m always happy to adjust based on what makes them happiest and most comfortable.

About: My first pet as a kid was a cat my family rescued. When I was in high school I volunteered for 4 years at the Hamilton SPCA doing dog walks . And cats and small animal socializing. Career wise I worked in the child care field for 10+ years in different roles. In 2024 I changed jobs to house cleaning I also adopted a rescue senior cat that I later found out had diabetes in 2023 ❤️‍🩹 *** recent update . Because my landlady is also boarding dogs . And her place is small she asked that I no longer do it . My work schedule is flexible. But right now because I’m new on rover and things are slow I’m working mon - Fri So will be available for weekends . I can accommodate a week long booking I just need some notice to book the days off at work I care about animals like they are my own . And do my best to make sure they feel safe and loved and give them my time and attention , I do treat my experience as life long learning . I have a good friend who had her own private dog sitting business for over 10 years she did many workshops over the years she’s a wealth of knowledge for me . But I’m trying to catch up and learn about dog training and things like dog cpr online. So I can be the best dog and cat sitter for your beloved.

About: I have trained a service dog with Autism Dog Service and continue to pet sit for these special dogs. I have also seen various behavioural issues and learned how to manage these behaviours. I have my own dog who is 4 years old and have learned how to manage and care for a dog with a lot of anxiety I currently work a 9-5 but work from home on Monday and Friday. I also have relatively free weekends and usually with my own dog I have a dog safe house and dog safe yard. I also am educated on dog health through the service dog training program. I care for all dogs and recognize signs of stress very well and dealt with my dogs own reactivity.

“Yvonne’s been a lifesaver! Again, Cleo doesn’t take to people easily. But for our honeymoon, we needed help. We didn’t want to leave her in a kennel— she doesn’t play well with other dogs— so a farm wasn’t an option either. We opted to leave her at home in her own space. Yvonne came by and walked Cleo twice a day. Hiding treats and bringing by toys to help keep Cleo occupied between the time gaps. Cleo was extremely happy and comfortable. We also want to make sure your dog is comfortable with our kids. Daily updates and photos will be provided so that you have peace of mind.
