I've raised or cared for a variety of breeds for over 25+ years, from puppies to rescues to elderly dogs. Husky-X, Malamutes, Hound-X, American Eskimo and Cairn Terrier-X's have been the core breeds I've handled. I don't currently have a pet living with me, but I love the company of all sorts of scruffy and snuggly fur-friends. I'm an active person (distance runner) and am accustomed to keeping busy bodies and minds occupied. I went through all 4 Levels of training with my female Alaskan Malamute with McCann's Dog Training. While my Mal has since passed, the training gave me a good grounding in guiding and understanding dog behaviours. I'm not afraid of shedding, slobber or reactivity. Please no flexi leashes for your dog's safety and mine. My clients get homemade cookies (if their diet allows) and are welcome on the furniture or on my bed. You set the rules about diet, exercise and any other boundaries.

We were nervous as it was Ruby Sue’s first time going to doggy day care but Linda did an exceptional job looking after Ruby-Sue, even giving her more play time and walks than we expected! She also gave many pictures and updates which put us at ease, and best of all, Ruby Sue loves Linda and came home a very happy and tired pup! We look forward to book with Linda again.
Linda was on time, treated my fur babies wonderfully and provided updates. I'd love to gatekeep but shes a gem!!
Linda provided excellent care for our dog, Jasper. Jasper is a rescue who takes a long time to warm up to new people. Linda has been very patient, giving Jasper the time and space to build trust and comfort. We also appreciate that Linda was professional and proactive with communication throughout, from confirming booking details to keeping us informed with pictures of Jasper throughout her stay. She also took very good care of the house. We already have another housesitting stay booked for Linda and Jasper.
Linda was an outstanding pet sitter and can't recommend her enough. Right from the beginning, communication was responsive and clear. She was genuinely excited to host Stella and went out of her way to make sure she had a great visit - homemade treats, walks, comfy bed and she kept me updated throughout the sit with lots of photos of a very happy dog :) Will definitely be giving Linda a call next time we need a sitter.
Linda has been absolutely fantastic with my fur baby! She was very attentive to her. She provided multiple updates throughout the day and my Bella was so excited to go back the next day! Linda was quick and easy to communicate with and eased MY separation anxiety let alone my baby’s. I am so grateful she was able to assist me last minute. The entire experience was easy and took a massive weight off my shoulders. Thank You Linda! 🐾
Linda stayed in our home for 2 weeks with our girls (Doberman and JRT), and she did an absolutely fabulous job!! We are picky with who watches them as they are quite the handful and we want to ensure the sitter is comfortable just as much as the dogs. She made it so easy not to worry about our home and girls while we were in a different timezone. We HIGHLY reccomend her and will definitely work with her again <3

Schedule
I work from home. I'm an actor and a part-time coach. I have flexibility on weekdays and weekends. Lots of time to attend to my fur-clients need for love, butt-scratches, exercise and playtime.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large, fenced backyard, and I supervise it whenever your dog is outside. If in your home, I would also supervise their outdoor play. The level of activity is matched to your dog's needs.
A typical day
Keeping your dog(s) active and occupied is my first priority as well as giving them downtime to settle and sleep. Tug toys (supervised), fetch in the backyard, treat balls or stuffed Kongs, and a wading pool (on hot summer days) are some examples of the activities we might engage in. There are parks and school grounds close by and lots of familiar loops and trails (short drive) for walkies. No off-leash parks unless this is a normal part of your dog(s) activity.
