Dog or cat? I love them both!
I’m a true animal lover and have rescued many dogs and cats in my life. I love spending time with dogs just walking, running or playing fetch in an off-leash dog park. I’m a runner so I understand the need for exercise. I work from home most days of the week and I’m very flexible with my schedule. I have taught my own border collie how to do agility and have taken many dog training courses with my own dogs. I believe in positive reinforcement and if you have special training needs you want to keep enforced I will happily follow your rules. I’m willing to take dogs into my home if you need a few days away or will go to your home if that is better for the dog. I will walk your alone if you prefer - however I have a dog of my own who loves other dogs and would be happy to be a playmate with your dog. If you want me to check in and spend time with your cat, I’m your girl! I love cats as much as dogs and I have a cat of my own. My cat loves human affection and belly rubs. I am comfortable clipping nails, brushing teeth and basic grooming.

This was my first time using Rover and I was nervous to leave my fur baby for the first time. Michelle made me feel completely at ease from the moment I met her and went ABOVE AND BEYOND anything I could have hoped for. Michelle always kept me updated on Sandy’s adventures (which included cross country skiing, 10k runs, snuggles and play time with her beautiful dog Lucy). Schedule
I work from home everyday and have a flexible schedule. My dog gets lots of time at the dog parks or long walks in the trails.

Safety, trust & environment
I have several size crates if your dog prefers a crate to sleep in. Dogs are allowed on couches and beds. My Lucy doesn’t use her crate anymore and she is a friendly dog who loves both dogs and cats.
Pets
A typical day
I live near some of the biggest off leash dog parks. There we can play fetch and interact with other dogs if you think you’ll dog will appreciate this kind of play time. Otherwise I can run / swim or play any game they prefer in various other parks. Trillium Park is my favourite Park to takes dogs to walk as well a fort York.
