She sat on the floor and played with them while we chatted, and they immediately became comfortable with her. While we were away for a few days, she maintained good communication and frequently sent us some pictures and videos; our fur babies got lots of attention and snuggles! One of our dogs is extremely anxious during thunderstorms, and Tracy ensured that she got her anxiety medication, and went above and beyond to help calm her. This was our first time using Rover, and our dogs who are 8 and 11 had never been watched by anyone other than family members, so we were a bit nervous to have a complete stranger stay in our home and care for our pets. We couldn’t have asked for a better person; Tracy is warm, caring, trustworthy, dependable, and we will definitely be using her services again. It was nice to be able to enjoy some time away and know that our fur babies were being well taken care of. Thank you Tracy!”

“Holly was a dream! I was anxious to leave my 7 month old dog and adult dog home alone for a whole day while at an event, as they usually have one of their humans at home. Holly was quick to communicate, and most importantly my two dogs and 3 cats love her! My puppy can be nervous with new people, and my other dog has separation anxiety. However, they were both able to settle easily after I left! They were happy and relaxed when I arrived home which made it easy to decompress after a long day. Plus, one of my cats really enjoyed a 2 hour snuggle with her on the couch! Safe to say, our pets were well taken care of by Holly -- loved and cared for the way we would. The photo updates throughout the day helped ease this anxious pet mom too :)”

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats for more than five years, providing everything from daily walks and feeding to overnight stays and medication administration. As a veterinary student, I understand animal behavior, health, and safety, giving owners extra peace of mind while they're away. I am currently on 4th year veterinary rotations, working Monday-Thursday with availability after 7:30pm to care for animals (walk dogs, feed cats, etc). I have open availability Friday-Sunday to care for pets +/- overnight board. I like to learn about your pet's routine, personality, medical history, and any special instructions. I focus on providing safe, compassionate care through exercise, playtime, feeding, fresh water, medications if needed, and lots of affection. I'm experienced with puppies, senior pets, and animals with medical conditions, and I'm comfortable monitoring for changes in behavior or health. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable while giving you peace of mind. My home has a fenced in yard and currently no pets of my own. Unfortunately my anxious senior dog passed from cancer in February so I am well experienced in caring for pets with behavioural and medical issues.

About: I’ve taken care of my cat and dogs since a young age, I’ve been around all breeds and have had co op placements in vet clinics in Oakville which provided me with experience in that environment. I’m currently going to school for Animal science at Guelph. I’ve also volunteered for the guide dogs foundation fostering future guide dog puppies and playing a role in their fundraisers. I currently also work at a veterinary clinic under a veterinarian caring for all pets and exotics I currently attend school and two of five classes are online. About: I have always been involved in pet care. When I was younger I worked in the pet care section of pet smart and now I work at a pet boarding hotel! I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified. I have 2 dogs and a fish, and have previously owned Guinea pigs, cats, hamsters, and birds! I am currently working part time at a boarding hotel and volunteering at a veterinary clinic which means I have tons of time to spend with your fur babies!! My visits will be specialized to whatever you need! Whether that’s increased activity by going on more walks or lounging on the couch cuddling!! Everything will be according to what your pet wants.

About: I have always grown up with dogs of my own. For the past seven years I have been working in the specialty veterinary field assisting all sorts of dogs from puppies, seniors, and any sort of illness. Currently in my third year of veterinary school. I am a student at Ontario Veterinary College, other than that I have plenty of free time to take care of your pups, take them on walks, and give them love and attention. I will treat the animals with my utmost care and give them all the love they need. Houses will be treated as the owner would treat it themselves.

About: Hi! I've taken care of multiple dogs of all ages as well as my family dog for 11 years! I am dog obsessed and need to love on any dog who comes into my line of sight. Paramedic and nurse part-time, dog whisperer full-time. Warning: dog may become accustomed to my baby talk and constant scratches and kissies! I treat all dogs like my own precious baby and love walks as well! Human AND dog CPR trained ! :D I'm currently working part-time/casually as a paramedic and as a nurse! I have differing availability throughout the week and am able to create a flexible schedule! I also try to incorporate a 30min-1 hour walk everyday and would love to add a doggy friend to that walk! I like to ensure long walks depending on the service/day and always make sure each dog is fed, full, and happy! Depending on the dog, I make sure to let them have multiple opportunities for a potty break to ensure they're the most comfortable they can be! When all safety and needs are taken care of, dogs can expect lots of cuddles, love, and "good boy"/"good girl" affirmations! I understand different dogs like differing amounts of affection and touch and I adjust based on their comfortability! I provide a patient, loving, and calm environment for all doggies!
