About: Growing up in a home full of pets—from dogs and budgies to hamsters and fish—animals have always been a central part of my life. What truly sets me apart is a blend of specialized care experience and professional reliability. For several years, I ran my own local dog walking and pet sitting business in my community, caring for neighbors' dogs multiple days a week. Through this, I became highly adept at managing real-world challenges, including stimulating picky eaters and safely navigating walks with dogs who can be reactive or misbehave around other animals. My background also includes extensive hands-on experience with specialized medical and training needs. I have owned and cared for dogs who were blind, diabetic, and on strict dietary restrictions. Additionally, I raised a future dog guide, successfully guiding her through foundational socialization and obedience training. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy learning the ropes, a senior dog requiring a patient routine, or a unique companion who needs a vigilant handler and a bit of extra patience, I bring the professional dedication and intuitive care they deserve. As a university student at home for the summer, pet care easily fits into my daily routine. I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pet—whether that means heading outside for long walks, playing indoors, or simply sitting nearby to keep them company so they never feel lonely! Safety and trust are my absolute top priorities. Because I do not have a fenced yard, I am very vigilant about leash safety, whether we are walking around the neighborhood or visiting a nearby open-space park. My background running a local pet care business and handling dogs who could be unpredictable around other animals means I am always scanning the environment and anticipating potential triggers. When caring for pets in your home, I respect your space entirely, closely follow your established safety routines, and ensure your home is secure before I leave. You can rest easy knowing your pet is with an experienced, attentive handler who understands exactly how to keep them safe, secure, and happy on every single outing.

About: Hi, my name is Pei! I’m a lifelong animal lover and dedicated rescuer with extensive experience caring for a wide range of animals. Over the years, I’ve shared my life with everything from rabbits and rodents to cats and large dogs. My journey started with a German Shepherd, and I also cared for two beloved rabbits for eight wonderful years. Our day starts early with a peaceful routine. After I’ve tended to my cats and the chicken coop, the dogs head out into our two-acre yard. For guest dogs, outdoor time is always supervised and on-leash (or a long-line) to ensure they stay safe near our forest boundary. Adventure & Exercise: We are an active household! I love exploring trails like Crane or Hanlon. While my Bernese Mountain Dog enjoys off-leash time, I only take guest dogs to off-leash parks or on hikes if I have the owner's explicit permission and I am confident in the dog's recall. Otherwise, we enjoy wonderful, long 'sniffaris' on-leash through the forest trails right behind my house. Daily Routine: In the summer, we live outdoors! We spend hours in the backyard playing fetch and catch. We typically do at least one 4–5 km hike per day. When we aren't hiking, your pup will be relaxing in our home, treated like a member of the family. We are looking for new pack members to join our daily adventures and enjoy the Puslinch country life with us! Safety is my absolute priority. We are lucky to have a beautiful two-acre property, but because our yard borders the forest and is unfenced, I never allow guest dogs off-leash outdoors. Safety Measures: Supervised Yard Time: All guest dogs are supervised 100% of the time they are outside, using either a standard leash or a 30ft long-line for extra 'sniffing' freedom. Indoor Comfort: After our adventures, dogs relax with us in our family living room. I have plenty of space to keep dogs separated if needed (especially during meal times). Chicken Safety: We do have a chicken coop on the property. Guest dogs are kept at a safe distance from the coop unless I am 100% confident in their behavior around poultry. Pick-Up & Drop-Off: I offer a convenient pick-up and drop-off service for your pets! Whether you need a hand with transport for boarding or a ride to their walk, I’m happy to accommodate. (Please note: Pick-up/drop-off is subject to a small additional fee based on distance—just ask!)

About: IG: Lady.rav Dogs are my happy place — I’ve always felt at home around them. I’ve owned four German Shepherds, all rescues, and have done a mix of personal and professional training with them (including one with dog aggression). Those experiences taught me how to understand dogs deeply, from their body language to the way they respond to human energy. I’m active, love hiking, and think everything is more fun with a four‑legged friend beside me. Dogs usually settle quickly around me and feel comfortable, which makes walks, playtime, and downtime easy and enjoyable. Whether your pup needs exercise, company, or calm structure, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, understood, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m currently building my consulting business, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility during the week to focus on caring for furry loved ones. On weekends, I volunteer helping abuse survivors move into safe housing during the day, so my evenings remain open and available for walks, drop‑ins, and overnight care. My schedule allows me to be consistently present, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your routines closely so your dog feels safe and comfortable. I’m respectful of your space, keep things tidy, and pay close attention to your pet’s body language and needs. I double‑check doors, gates, and safety details, and keep communication open so you always know how your pup is doing. My goal is a calm, secure environment where your dog can relax and you can feel confident while you’re away.

About: I've been taking care of my pets, as well as my neighbors, since I was around 8. My sister and I used to cat sit for our neighbors twice a year and I sometimes dog sit for my friends. I grew up living with two golden doodles and now my family has a sheepdog and a golden retriever/bernedoodle mix I'm currently free until the beginning of September. I'm starting a bachelor's program in the fall, so my availability will change, I'm totally down to discuss it individually then! My home has a fenced backyard and my dogs aren't crate trained so they sleep with us in our rooms. I'm available to discuss specific routines for each of my clients!

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover who dreams of opening an animal shelter one day. I began dog-sitting at 15 years old and have been regularly caring for dogs ever since. I have experience with puppies as young as six months, as well as senior dogs. I also spent a month volunteering at a dog shelter in Italy, and my own dog is a rescue. Because of this, I’m familiar with a wide range of behaviours and am confident caring for dogs who may need extra patience, structure, or understanding. I’m calm, reliable, and attentive, and I care for every dog as if they were my own. I am currently completing my undergraduate degree through an online university, which makes my schedule very flexible. I am available weekdays and weekends with the exceptions of Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely to maintain their normal routine and comfort. I’m attentive to safety, including secure doors, leashes, and household hazards. I respect my clients’ homes and provide regular updates so pet owners feel confident and at ease while they’re away.

About: What sets me apart is my experience working with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities through rescue. I’ve cared for everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs and those needing extra patience or medical attention. I also trained puppies for Autism Dog Services, helping build strong foundations in obedience and confidence, and worked as a veterinary assistant for two years, giving me valuable knowledge of animal health, behavior, and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I currently work from home, so your animals needs will be met all day. I have a flexible schedule so even if you are crate training or socializing, I’m able to come and go as I please. My home is thoughtfully set up to meet the needs of dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. As an active foster, I have a variety of tools and equipment to ensure every dog feels safe and comfortable, including a fenced yard, crates (when appropriate), x-pens, and separate areas throughout the home. If I have a foster dog during your pet’s stay, I can easily provide each dog with their own dedicated space to ensure an stress-free environment. I prioritize one-on-one attention, individualized care, positive reinforcement training, and safe socialization based on each dog’s comfort level and needs.

About: I worked at a pet store for 6 years, and gained knowledge for cats and dogs. I’ve also had my dog for 8 years, she is a German Shepard/rottweiler. Different things we trained her on is, “indoor bark” so she does a whisper bark to not be loud. We trained her to be good with kids since I have 3 human babies. We have trained her to “walk beside” so she is not pulling. For other dogs, I did an over night stay for a 7 year old boxer, and I’ve dog walked a cocker spaniel who is 9 months. I have experience from puppy - senior dogs and can follow direction really well. I used to work at a pet store full time before I got my 3rd human baby. Everyday, I would be helping and answering questions for customers to help with there pet needs. Everyday I take care of my dog and my cat, whether that is playing, go on walks, take the dog outside, clean up after the dog outside, clean the cat litter, clean pet fur off of everything, bathe, nails ect. Pets have been in my life forever and has always been apart of my daily routine. As long as your dog is kid friendly, they are more than welcome to stay here. I have my own vehicle so I can take the dog to the off leash park (if client is comfortable), I can walk the dog on long walks if they need it. Throughout my care, I will send updates constantly and whatever you need me to do I will do it, I would rather make the clients life a lot easier to there needs as well :)

About: I have been dog and cat sitting since I was 16 years old. All neighbours around me have allowed me to check on, walk, and stay with their pets from one day up to two weeks! As a university student, I too need to get in some daily exercise. Keeping active with animals is just so much more therapeutic, I think! I always make sure to follow the families routines, and expectations that the pet already knows. I am not able to keep pets in my home due to family allergies, and I am happy to care for your pet in their known environment.
