“Pei went absolutely above and beyond in caring for my dog, Louisa. Louisa is a nervous mastiff and can be quite particular, so finding someone I trust with her is no small thing, and Pei exceeded every expectation. From the start, Pei created such a calm and welcoming environment. Louisa was given the time and space she needed to settle in at her own pace, and it was clear she felt safe to gradually explore, enjoy the trails, and grow more comfortable each day. Pei kept me consistently updated, which gave me huge peace of mind. The updates were thorough, reassuring, and showed not just experience, but genuine care and affection for Louisa. What really stood out was the extra effort and attention to detail. Louisa is an extremely fussy eater, and Pei took the time to make thoughtful adjustments, adding toppings, adapting her meals, and ensuring she stayed well fed and happy. That kind of effort meant so much. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and feel incredibly relieved and grateful to have found such a wonderful “home away from home” for my sensitive girl.”

“Just wonderful! Camilla looked after our 6 year old cockapoo for 2 weeks. There was excellent communication before and during his stay. She updated us every day with several pictures and videos of him on hikes, walks, outings at the park, playing with her children and relaxing with the family. She is a lovely person and it was obvious from our first meeting that she would take great care of Finn. From the videos she sent, we could tell that our pup loved her and her children and they paid a lot of attention to him and welcomed him as part of the family. They ran with him at the park and he even got to join in on playing basketball. Honestly, I think he misses them all. We will definitely be booking Finn in with Camilla again.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats. I’ve been around them my whole life and want to dedicate my future to helping animals as well. I have a few years of dog sitting experience in high school for families and friends. Currently unemployed so all my free time can be dedicated to taking care of your animals! Daily walks are a must and might as well have some dogs coming along! I follow instructions to the letter, I take precautions in new environments as well. All for the safety and comfort of your pets and myself.

About: I have always been growing up with pets in my lifetime. I am experienced with dogs big and small. Cats of different breeds. I have experience with rabbits and chickens as well. I am currently retired and at home most of the time. We have a fenced large sized backyard that the dogs can play in safely. I have a fully fenced backyard for the dogs to play in. They are allowed to go in and out whenever they wanted. I do meet and greet to make sure dogs have good temperament that they can get along with each other. I am flexible in time schedule so I can always be at home to ensure dogs are safe and get along with each other. Breaking conflicts before they even started.

“This was our first time using Rover, and we hit the jackpot with Melanie! She and her family are absolutely wonderful. Not only did they take amazing care of our dog, Miracle, but they treated her like one of their own. From the moment I met Melanie, I felt at ease—her kindness, compassion, and love for animals were immediately evident. Miracle can be quite anxious in new environments and often refuses to eat, but not with Melanie (and family)! By the end of our meet-and-greet, Miracle was playing with toys, and by the second day we were away, she was eating her usual amount—something that has NEVER happened before! Miracle stayed with Melanie and family for 9 days, and we were sent updates, pictures and videos of Miracle every single day. This helped us to feel like we still got to enjoy Christmas with our pup even though we weren’t there with her. When we picked Miracle up, it was clear they had all formed a bond….. haha my husband and I felt a bit guilty for taking her back! Needless to say, we will definitely be bringing Miracle back to spend time Melanie and family in the future.
