A typical day
I treat your family like my family! While your babies are with me, they will get spoiled with love and attention! KW has many wonderful trails to explore which give me an opportunity to stimulate their mental and physical needs. I accomodate many energy levels and my walks will cater to their physical needs so they are tired when they come home! I'm always up for a good play session too! I follow instructions well and I am great at anticipating the needs of your fur babies. I value open and honest communication throughout each visit; which means lots of pictures and videos of our activities, regular updates of our time together and complete transparency!

Pet care experience
Animal care is my passion! As a full-time pet sitter, I enjoy combining my passion for animals with my ability to provide outstanding care based on my years of training and experience. In my 16 years in the pet industry, I have cared for many dog and cat breeds from newborn to senior and I have an immense knowledge of breed temperament. I have had the absolute pleasure of growing up with and caring for many family cats and multiple dogs including two Huskies, a Newfoundlander and a Maltese. This early exposure ignited my connection with and passion for animals. I currently "belong" to two crazy and amazing cats. 😹 I am experienced in dog grooming, working with rescue organizations, whelping and caring for newborn puppies, dog walking, positive reinforcement training, leash training, administration of medications, boarding care, sanitation, hygiene and special diet requirements.

She went above and beyond in terms of engaging with him with activities, care and affection. She always left us a thorough note with lots of pictures too. Finding a pet sitter you can truly trust is hard, but look no further - Shannon is a gem. I am so grateful to have found her! Shannon was absolutely amazing and so trustworthy. Throughout the entire time I was away, she kept me updated with regular, reassuring communication. Shannon went above and beyond in every way - not only taking incredible care of my cat, but also watering my plants and even vacuuming the litter room! She truly treated my cat like her own. Knowing my cat felt safe enough to give her snuggles and kisses was the ultimate peace of mind. Shannon is incredible and I will definitely be booking her again!
When you're headed out of town, there can be many stressors. Booking Shannon is a guaranteed way to alleviate those concerns that pertain to the well being of your special furry friends. I can't emphasize enough how excellent, thoughtful, detailed and caring Shannon is. Knowing she will drop by home and visit with our 2 labs gives such a huge sense of relief. Highly, highly recommend!
I can always count on Shannon to take good care of my anxious Kitty and my home. I really don't worry for a moment while I'm away. What a blessing!
