“I felt very comfortable leaving our (almost) one year old puppy with Cindy and Marc and when we picked her up we could tell she had a wonderful day. She was well cared for and enjoyed running in their fully fenced yard. We hope to book with them again!”

We follow their routine and have a crate available if needed. We will provide attentive care, stick to your pet’s schedule, and share regular updates for peace of mind.
“My puppy Marvin had the absolute best experience with Deborah-Lyn and her dogs. It was his first time with a sitter and after seeing how amazing she is with him and how often she was able to send updates to me, I feel so safe leaving him with her. He came home exhausted after a full day of fun with her dogs, both of which are super friendly and adorable. Will 100% book regularly, I could not recommend her more.”

“I honestly can’t recommend Praneet enough. Before meeting him, I had never left Crypto with anyone in the year and a half I’ve had him. Like many dog parents, I have separation anxiety too, so trusting someone with him was a huge step for me. From our very first phone call, Praneet made me feel comfortable and confident. Instead of simply accepting the booking, he suggested a meet-and-greet first. We met at a dog park where Crypto was surrounded by other dogs, and Praneet spent about an hour with us. During that time, he not only got to know Crypto but also taught me so much about dog behaviour and body language. I learned a lot from that one meeting, and it gave me complete confidence in his knowledge and experience. After our meet-and-greet, I booked Crypto for three days of daycare. I honestly started noticing a positive change in his walks within just a day or two. Seeing that progress made me decide to hire Praneet as Crypto’s trainer as well. Crypto is going in for surgery soon, so we’ll be starting our training sessions once he’s fully recovered. The biggest sign for me is how much Crypto loves going there. Every time I tell him we’re going to see Praneet, he gets excited. When I pick him up, he’s always happy, relaxed, and never stressed or panicked. In fact, he even whines when it’s time to leave Praneet! I have to admit, I was a little jealous—but it’s also the best reassurance a dog parent can ask for. Throughout the day, Praneet kept me updated with messages, photos, and videos whenever I asked. He wasn’t just taking care of Crypto—he was also helping me overcome my own separation anxiety. Thank you, Praneet, for taking such amazing care of Crypto. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about dogs the way you do. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and caring sitter or trainer. You are truly the best .. I can’t thank you enough. Crypto and I are both lucky to have found you—even if I’m still a little jealous that he doesn’t want to leave you! 😄”

“This was my first time leaving my fur baby with someone who I didn’t know, and Michelle made the experience very easy. We trialed half a day with daycare in Michelle’s home and my gal came home happy and pooped. Michelle was highly responsive throughout the process, and as soon as I met her, I knew my gal was in great hands. I would definitely recommend Michelle and hope to use her services again soon.”

“Cooper had such a great time with Alison! He was a very tired pup when he got home! She provided updates throughout the day and was very responsive to any questions. We will definitely be using her again when we need a dog sitter! ?”

“I would highly recommend this place for doggy day care! We left our dog for the entire day and he had fantastic time, he had few walks and he was treated very nicely. The experience is 5 out of 5!”

“Shelley was great and very detailed with follow up information as well as upon pick up. She treated my “baby” as one of her own. She was positive and helpful and my dog had a happy & positive experience for his first visit with other cuties there. I look forward, when needed, to take my dog 🐶 there again. Thanks Shelley!!”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Edward! He took excellent care of Kim and treated him like family. We loved getting the updates and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Highly recommended!”

“Samantha her husband and the entire family were very friendly and welcoming to Tiko, Lili her dog as well. She was very accommodating to a change of time to pick up... which in the end was not needed.. I will recommend her and Lili her dog as great friends. Thank you so much for your kindness.”

“Lee & Fan have been fantastic with our fearful pup. Their patience with Candy as she becomes comfortable with humans has been incredible. Their pup Lancer is also a perfect companion for Candy as well, providing lots of emotional support and assurance that his humans are amazing! We look forward to making more progress with Lee & Fan.”

“Before leaving Munchkin, we had a meet & greet with Priya and her lovely dog, Lucky. Priya was calm, kind, and made me feel completely comfortable right away. She took great care of Munchkin, sending me updates and pictures throughout the day, which really put my minds at ease. I highly recommend her services and would leave Munchkin with her again without a doubt!”

“Ed always provides top-notch care for our best girl. She loves her off leash walks with the other dogs and he feeds her like a queen. She loves her time there. She is always so excited when we get to his house, and we are grateful he takes such good care of our girl for us!”

“Pei took good care of Nala while we were away in the city. Nala had fun with Oscar and Pei, running around in their beautiful backyard. She took Nala out for a hike, and she was a tired pup coming home! Thank you, Pei. :)”

About: Hi, I’m a lifelong animal lover who officially traded the corporate world for a career surrounded by dogs. I’ve fostered 8 rescue dogs, have two dogs of my own, and have spent years learning that no two pups are alike (and that treats are a very effective form of diplomacy). I’m a past- humane society volunteer, and have spent many mornings getting to know and walk new dogs. I recently left my corporate job to pursue a dream of working with and caring for dogs. So, I’m looking to fill my days doing what I love most: getting to know more dogs and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while their humans are away. Whether your pup needs an afternoon walk, a house check-in, some extra company, or an overnight stay, I’d love the chance to spoil them like they’re my own. I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely excited to spend my days with four-legged clients. Basically, your dog gets a vacation, and I get to call it work! Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life! With two dogs of my own and years of fostering rescue dogs, I’m very used to building walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention into my daily routine. Since leaving my corporate job, I have even more flexibility to spend my days caring for other dogs- whether that’s walks, drop-ins, house sitting, or overnight stays. I genuinely love having dogs around, so to me, my schedule can happily revolve around my pets’ needs. Safety and trust are always my top priorities when caring for a pet. I treat every dog as an individual and take the time to understand their routines, personality, comfort level, and any specific needs before I care for them. I have a fenced yard, with plenty of space for secured off- leash play. I’m happy to accommodate crate trained dogs and special medical requests, to ensure your pets schedule, routine, and care, match their at- home needs.
“I am so lucky that I found Jayson. Our dog is usually shy at first, but she clicked with Jayson. He is kind, caring and I feel so relieved when she is with him for doggy daycare. Jayson responds very quickly and communicates very clearly. His dog, Arnold has made our girl feel comfortable, which is amazing, as she can be apprehensive at times. Jayson will provide lots of photos during the day and keeps me updated on her walks (or hangouts in the backyard when it is too hot). His photos are always accompanied by a text, telling me how she is doing, how her walk was, when she had dinner, etc. I love that Jayson always gives off a calm and happy demeanor, because it not only makes our dog comfortable, but I do not worry at all about her while she is there. If you are looking for someone who provides a fun and calm space, a very chill doggy companion, and lots of care, I 100% recommend Jayson as your pet sitter/walker.”

Winston was comfortable at Valerie's place when we went for our meet and greet. He has a great time and is a happy boy when I pick him up at the end of the day. She does a great job, is very responsive and I would totally recommend her to take care of your puppers.

Tater tot says that serenity was lovely. She said to say she loved chilling at serenity’s home and that she loved the two furry companions that she got to hang with. What a great day. Stephanie loved how communicative Serenity was and how open to planning. Thank you serenity. If by some strange chance Tater tot ends up back in Cambridge she wants to come and see you again. Thank you

Hollie was amazing with Jasper! We loved the report card she wrote — it was so thoughtful and fun to read. She even sent him home with a little toy pig, which he absolutely loves. Jasper had a great time, and we’d be happy to have him daycare with Hollie again. Highly recommend!

Max had a fabulous time with Stefanie and her pack. We are thrilled to have found a new home away from home for our fur baby. Her communication was outstanding, she sent pictures of him at play, before we made it home. It is very easy to see why she is rated a 5 star sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of our fur baby.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Cambridge commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ON ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as the DHPP or DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 80% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 93% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
