“This was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous. After filtering my search criteria and reading a lot of reviews (I wanted to make sure there were repeat visits), I reached out Jacky and Rocio. They were quick to respond, friendly and so patient with me. They answered all my questions and even wanted to learn about my dog. I asked to meet up with them beforehand so that our dogs could meet (to make sure they got along and to calm my first-time jitters 😅). They were more than happy to meet up for a dog walk around their neighbourhood. Jacky and Rocio were very accommodating to our schedule. At drop off, they made the transition so seamless and comfortable (for both myself and my dog). They sent me many updates, photos and videos of their day together over the entire 4 day stay. Honestly, my family and I joked that our dog might not want to come back to us because of how happy she looked in pictures! The pick up was also very efficient. I’m already booking them again for another out of town trip. If you need somebody to look after your fur baby, I highly recommend Jacky and Rocio. They treat your pet like their own.”

“I have so many good things to share about our experience with Mana and her husband, Ahmed. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Out of 6 people I interviewed, Mana was the only person with whom I felt comfortable leaving our dog, Kodi. Mana and Ahmed spent a good amount of time getting to know me and getting to know our dog. We had two visits and a daycare visit before letting him stay overnight. She had a questionnaire for us to fill out, which helped me organize a lot of extra information about his specific needs. Throughout his visit, she sent pictures and videos to show us what he was up to. Daily walks were awesome, walking with their dog. They took him for a good hike, which he loves, and he was even able to go in the river for a dip. Kodi was able to relax in his own area or wherever the family was seated. Mana took a good leadership role with my dog, and she was able to move him along the path of being with another dog. Mana problem solved when Kodi did not want to eat and with other small problems that cropped up. She even made special treats in his size! Ahmed loved Kodi’s attention, and he gave him lots of attention. We were able to enjoy our time away, knowing that our dog was well cared for and as happy as he could be away from us. “Rachel is the BEST dog sitter we’ve ever had on Rover. We did a meet and greet first because Winston can be fussy but they got along great. Axle and Icy are the calmest, friendliest dogs and got along great. Lots of updates throughout and more importantly she really understands older dogs and their nuances and doesn’t find them cumbersome. Winston can be anxious and cry a lot and take a bit of time to settle but he seemed to have settled right away or at least Rachel made it seem like he did which gave us so much piece of mind regardless!
