Planning pet care can be challenging, I know, I've been there for decades. Look no further for someone who can assist, besides family or a friend you have to inconvenience again! Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Nicole, a naturalist and animal lover, offering services for you and your pet's needs when you're away from your furry friend. I was gifted with a deep bond and ability to connect naturally with animals and nature from a young age. I am a loving, caring and active caregiver. After a lifetime of owning my own dogs, I am joyfully in a position to have the opportunity to share my love and affection to your pet unconditionally and with my undivided attention. Our home includes our two young adults (recently returned) and our middle-aged cat, Ace. (Who clearly acts like his name implies) Following the loss of our beloved Tonka in the end of 2023, I felt the desire to focus on offering pet services to individuals/families with pets so they could feel at ease while away at work, during weekend escapes and holidays. Having my own challenges finding pet care in the past, I strive to provide comfort for your pet in a loving home or in the comfort of their own home, while you're away. I was a volunteer with St John Ambulance as a Therapy Dog Handler with our family dog from 2015 to 2023, visiting and sharing our pet with those who needed something positive in their life to raise their spirits or to those who just desired some furry snuggles and TLC. You'll find me hiking regularly at the conservation areas that are close to home and connecting to nature. Being self-employed allows me the ability for flexible hours to accommodate different circumstances each of you may have. Nicole recently stayed at our house with our two dogs for a week and my dogs absolutely loved her. They were well taken care of and went on exciting new walks. Nicole was very friendly, caring and nurturing and we will look forward to booking her again.
Luna and Bruno were so well taken care of! Not once was I worried about them during their stay with Nicole. Daily updates, lots of snuggles and playtime!
Archer was very happy when I picked him up and Nicole sent plenty of photos and updates during his stay!
Nicole treated our pups as if they were her own, and over the Festive season. She is an absolute star and went above and beyond at every turn.
My stevie fell in love at Nicole's. She didn't want to leave her home. Lol. Nicole was amazing with her and I highly recommend her to everyone.
We were very pleased with the job Nicole did taking care of our dog while we were away . She took the extra time to make sure she was comfortable in her home, kept us updated with pictures and texts throughout, and was able to accommodate a schedule change. Nicole even bought our dog extra food that we forgot to delivery. We are very appreciate for great take care of our dog.Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a sitter. I know our dog would love to go back!

Schedule
A healthy lifestyle is important for me and for my pets. Enjoying all seasons here in Ontario, I have no problem staying active and being outdoors with your pet. Rest assured, in extreme heat/cold, we use caution as needed. I work part-time from home and can be available to assist in a variety of ways for my clients. When we were blessed with our dog, he was well taken care of and went for a walk at a minimum, twice a day (morning and late afternoon) and on weekends we generally spent an afternoon in the local conversation area or a trail system within the GTA. With your approval, I'd enjoy your furry companion join me on my next adventure on the trails.

Safety, trust & environment
Being a very active person, I'm able to accommodate walk routines in the early morning and throughout the day, rain or shine. I regularly groomed our flat-coated retriever and cared for his needs as he aged (medication, vet visits, assistance in/out of car), accommodating him when he wanted extra love or a shorter walk in the neighbourhood vs a hike in the woods. I offer a very welcoming and positive energy in our home and expect your furry friend to be comforted while they visit with us or when I visit with them. I am trained in energy healing and animals (being very open spirited) are easily connected to me, which often creates a positive and stress-free union.
Pets
A typical day
We have an assortment of dog toys and a fenced yard where I would play and interact with your dog during any day care or boarding services. I have a lifetime pass to conservation areas and visit a few times a week to hike and explore trails in the GTA. Your furry friend will be welcome to join me on any and all of my adventures. Some conservation areas have places for your dogs to swim and enjoy the water too! We also have a seasonal getaway near Turkey Point on Lake Erie where we spend our summers. Maybe your pet could come with us and spend time in the lake and hike in the Provincial Park there?
