I am a former English professor who endured treatment for two cancers in 2023-2024, leaving me partially disabled but eager to find meaningful work again. Since adopting my first cat in 2000, animal companions have filled my life with both love and a deep sense of duty and purpose. I currently share my home with my 11-year old mixed breed dog and my 7-year old cat, both of whom remind me daily how special the bond between people and animals can be. About: As a lifelong dog lover, I grew up surrounded by dogs and currently have two of my own. I trained both of them from puppy stage, giving me hands-on experience with training and daily care.
