“Vicky was fantastic! When meeting our skittish Giant Schnauzer for the fitst time, Vicky was patient, kind, moved slowly, and spoke quietly. He was a little unsure at first but trusted her to pet him. Once he saw his treat bag and lead, he was excited to go for a walk. It was a great first experience. Kane walked for an hour and had a nice nap when he got home. Thank you Vicky! We will definitely continue with weekly walks.”

“Megan is just wonderful! We explained to her the type of support our cat needed, and she was very prompt and courteous in all the services and communications she provided. She is very easy to talk to and does an excellent job following instructions. I would highly recommend her :)”
“We’ve now become regulars with Saly, and she’s become a loved and trusted companion of our cat (who is very wary of other people). We love how Saly always goes the extra mile to make sure our cat is well taken care of and also that the environment is maintained while away for long periods of time. Her attention to detail and consistency is second-to-none!”

About: IG: Lady.rav | FB: Raveen walks dogs - Halton & Area Dogs are my happy place — I’ve always felt at home around them. I’ve owned four German Shepherds, all rescues, and have done a mix of personal and professional training with them (including one with dog aggression). Those experiences taught me how to understand dogs deeply, from their body language to the way they respond to human energy. I’m active, love hiking, and think everything is more fun with a four‑legged friend beside me. Dogs usually settle quickly around me and feel comfortable, which makes walks, playtime, and downtime easy and enjoyable. Whether your pup needs exercise, company, or calm structure, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, understood, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m currently building my consulting business, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility during the week to focus on caring for furry loved ones. On weekends, I volunteer helping abuse survivors move into safe housing during the day, so my evenings remain open and available for walks, drop‑ins, and overnight care. My schedule allows me to be consistently present, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your routines closely so your dog feels safe and comfortable. I’m respectful of your space, keep things tidy, and pay close attention to your pet’s body language and needs. I double‑check doors, gates, and safety details, and keep communication open so you always know how your pup is doing. My goal is a calm, secure environment where your dog can relax and you can feel confident while you’re away.

About: I grew up around animals and have loved cats and dogs throughout my lifetime. Now that my children are old enough I’m looking for a way to have them enjoy the experience without a permanent commitment. I am a stay-at-home mom who volunteers in the community and at my kids school. I am very flexible and spend most of my time at home. I have a fenced back yard with a pool that backs onto a large sports centre with walking trails and a forest. I enjoy taking walks. There is a dog park across the street from me.
About: Hi my name is Marina! **please note I am only available June 1 until August 29, 2026** I’m currently a university student who is studying education I want to become a teacher and I have a love for animals and the outdoors! I have experience with both dog walking and dog sitting, including going over on certain days to let family and friends’ dogs out, feed them, and spend time with them. I am comfortable dog sitting in other people’s homes and always make sure to respect the space and routines. I am very good at learning and following each animal’s schedule, including feeding times, walks, medication if needed, and any specific care instructions. I take time to understand each dog’s personality and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I already spend a lot of time with animals in my daily life. I enjoy being active, going for walks, and spending time outdoors, so taking dogs out or caring for pets feels like a natural extension of my day. I also spend time with my own pets, playing with them, keeping them company, and making sure they are comfortable and happy. I am a university student going into my 5th of 6 years for teaching, so I am used to balancing responsibilities and managing my time well. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy and make time for in my routine. I care deeply about the safety and well-being of animals and always do a check-in when I arrive to make sure they have everything they need. I ensure food and water are refilled, they have access to toys and comfort, and that their basic needs are met. For dogs, I make sure they are let outside for bathroom breaks and exercise, and for cats, I clean and scoop the litter box as needed. I also take time to give attention, affection, and cuddles so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away.

I cannot express how amazing Meaghan was with our babies!! We were gone for 2 weeks, and she was just sooo amazing with them! She did an initial meet and greet before we left, and both our cats warmed up to her so fast! Our older cat, Kiki is SOOO picky with anyone she meets, but she warmed up to Meaghan so fast. We couldn't ask for more from her, she really went above and beyond. Meaghan was kind enough to also water our plants, and tidy up. The pictures she took and updates she gave us, made us so at ease! We appreciate you so much Meaghan, and thank you so much!! 5 stars really isn't enough!!

Mallory has been looking after our cats for a few years now every time we’re away. She’s brilliant with them and knows her way around cats so they feel comfortable with her. She is always responsible and accommodating to our cats’ needs and wants. She’s very responsive whenever we message her. I cannot recommend her enough. Thanks!

Raveen is Reliable and dependable! Our pup was well cared for during the drop-in visit. He was fed on schedule and got a nice bathroom break. Raveen also kept updating me through out! We felt confident leaving our dog in such capable hands. Highly recommended! Thank you Raveen!!
Hii, Megan has been great with my dogs. She has been very patient with my hyper puppy with poor manner 😬... my little sassy french bulldog who doesn't really like anyone, Megan has won her over and my girl trusts her, welcomes her into our house- didn't take long for my girl to feel comfortable with Megan. My labrador is happy with any and all attention so having Megan pay attention to him, he is over the moon 🥰 Megan has been a great to my troops and we appreciate her caring attitude and look forward to having her work with our family further.

Caro-Lynne did an excellent job dropping in to my house to take care of my cat. She fed him, replenished his water, scooped his litter box, gave him treats and interacted with him. I'm completely happy with her services. She was easy to contact and send messages and pictures about how my cat was doing when she came over. Highly recommend Caro-Lynne.

We had an amazing experience with Cyntia! She took excellent care of Coco and Pixie while I was away for vacation. She followed all instructions perfectly, kept me updated, and made sure they were happy and comfortable. She even set up her cameras (with my permission) so she could check on them anytime, when am away busy, which gave me so much peace of mind. I will definitely always work with her in the future. Highly recommend Cyntia to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter! Thank you dear Cyntia!

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Milton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
