I have experience identifying food allergies, and I am First Aid and CPR certified. There are chew safe toys in the home. I have experience handling dogs with Resource Guarding, food guarding and toy guarding issues. I provide daily photo updates for long-term stays.

I am a former English professor who endured treatment for two cancers in 2023-2024, leaving me partially disabled but eager to find meaningful work again. Since adopting my first cat in 2000, animal companions have filled my life with both love and a deep sense of duty and purpose. I currently share my home with my 11-year old mixed breed dog and my 7-year old cat, both of whom remind me daily how special the bond between people and animals can be. All pet-parents will have occasions when they need help giving their companions the exercise, play, and attention they deserve. I aim to create a calm, stress-free experience for your furry friend, right in the comfort of your own home. I have cared for everything from playful puppies and curious kittens to wise senior pets who just need a little extra patience. You can count on me to provide a walk along doggy’s favourite route, some gentle playtime, or quiet company while you are away. I have some experience administering medications and am happy to do so if provided clear instructions. I’ve raised my senior pup since he was just 8 weeks old — now he’s almost 14 and still thriving! Through the years, I’ve gained lots of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to sweet seniors. I’m also working toward certification as a positive reinforcement dog trainer, so you can trust that I’ll treat your pup with patience, kindness, and care. You don't ever have to worry about your pup being alone I am home all the time. I have a fenced in yard, two friendly pups, one who always wants to play. I have baby gates on my front door, there are safe spaces indoors where the dogs can go. I also have baby gates for indoors if your pup needs thier own space. As well as a crate if needed.

About: I own a high energy 5 year old golden retriever myself. Although he lives at home with my fiancé and I, but I am in charge of all his walks and feeding him and play time. He’s my baby! I work full time and am in office Tuesday to Thursday (usually) - but my evenings are free! Mondays, Fridays and weekends I am flexible to walk your pooches anytime.
