I always try to schedule a meet and greet before booking a client, it’s important to me to get to the know the pet while their owner is around and get the chance to locate everything I’ll need while pet sitting. If a meet and greet isn’t possible, I ask lots of questions so I have a thorough understanding of the pet and their needs.

I always prefer to know about your pets preferences ahead of time; anything they like or dislike, any allergies or dietary restrictions, and how they react around other dogs and people. Essentially, I like to know the basics of how to keep your pet as safe as possible!
A typical day
I love seeing your pets true personalities come out! I always allow dogs to sniff as much as they want on our walks, as it provides excellent mental stimulation. I love exploring the neighbourhood and switching up our routes to keep things interesting!

I’ve been pet sitting for as long as I can remember, caring for neighbours, friends, and families dogs and cats (even a hedgehog once!) while they are away on vacation or busy with work. As a pet owner myself, I understand how hard it can be to trust your baby with someone you don’t know! I take great pride in caring for and loving each and every animal as if they are my own. I would love to take your dog for a walk, or to drop in and spend some time with your pets! I love sending lots of pictures of your pets to put your mind at ease while you are away. I know how much I miss my pets when I’m away and I can never have too many pictures!

Mary is an amazing pet sitter. My cat Yakko is usually shy with strangers but he was able to get comfortable with Mary. He let her pet him and play with him, which never happened before. In addition to that, Mary gives a very detailed description of her visits and sends a lot of photos. I highly appreciated it. I recommend Mary and I will book her service again in the future.
Our experience with Mary has always been amazing! She really goes the extra make to care for our older golden Annie. She is mindful of her needs and was helpful in administering pills while we were away. We are always happy to trust her to care for Annie.
