About: I love animals, I grew up with dogs and even tough currently I don’t have my own pet, I would like to share my love with your furry friend! We would wake up early, have a morning walk and eat some breakfast. We would go for another walk at mid morning, lunch time and afternoon. To end the day, we would have dinner and a long relaxing walk before going to bed. Tons of love and cuddles, play time during the whole day. For example this one dog I dogsat would have to spin around in circles a few times before he went potty. I have experience staying overnight with dogs as well as cats. I have cats of my own as well and I’ve been around all kinds of pets my whole life so I’m very comfortable around most pets. I will be attending full time school in September but I will have time in between classes or before/after where I can schedule play dates and walks. When I enter the home I keep my energy calm. I try to get a read on whether the pet is comfortable with being approached. Then if they are, I hold out my hand so they can sniff it and familiarize themselves with my scent. But with any pet, before play time I would want to have some time to just sit around them so they can get used to me before we start playing/walking. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I have dog sitting and walking experience in Toronto and am able to follow any specific instructions your pet may need. I am able to walk on or off leash, and can continue training whatever you and your family have already started or suggest what I have found to work best. My daughter has just started daycare and am looking for work during the day to pass the time. I am available during all weekdays for your pet from 9am-4pm. I currently take on small construction jobs that will not affect my dog walking/ sitting services. I am able to let your dog out or go for a walk or just keep them company. Whatever is needed I am able to do and will follow all instructions. I can keep up with high energy dogs and give them a good run. I can keep a slow easy pace for older dogs. Whatever is required I am able to do for your beloved pet!

They are incredibly patient with him and good at sensing when he needs some space versus wants to be cuddly or play. They follow our care plan really well and just all around take great care of Schnappi and are understanding of his (at times) challenging behavior. We've left Schnappi with Emmie several times and she is consistently great. She also has a window he loves to stare out to watch people and squirrels.”

“Rie and Masa were genuinely amazing! Our senior Pomeranian, Horhey, requires special care and tons of attention, and he’s very selective on who he trusts. We had a 2 week trip out of country and this was our first time leaving him with someone other than friends or family, so we were very anxious about leaving him for such a long time. Rie and Masa sent TONS of photos, videos, and updates of Horhey throughout his stay. We were pleasantly relieved to hear how well he got along with them. We even received videos of him playing with toys and doing tricks for them (which is something he doesn’t do often for people who are not his family). Rie and Masa are inherently caring, patient, and kind, and Horhey’s quickly developing bond was proof of that. They gave him his daily medication, took him for walks, and he grew close enough to them that he began cuddling with them. We trust Rie and Masa to watch Horhey, and highly recommend them to any pet owners looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

Ella and Blue got along really well and I was extremely happy to see all of the pictures and videos of Ella and Blue playing at the park and resting on the bench!! “I had a wonderful experience with Seema and couldn’t be happier with the care she provided for my dog, Max. From the moment we met, she was very friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about dogs. Max was dropped off at 7:30 in the morning and picked up at 7:30 in the evening, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands throughout the day. Seema was extremely caring and loving toward Max. He had a great time playing fetch with her and was walked multiple times during the day. She made sure he was fed properly and well taken care of. Max also made a new friend, Yogi—an 11-month-old Golden Retriever—and they had an amazing time together, playing and running around in the backyard, even enjoying the snow. About: What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs. I have experience caring for both playful puppies and senior dogs, so I’m comfortable adjusting my approach depending on their age, energy level, and routine. I’m patient, reliable, and always make sure dogs feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. I treat every dog like they’re my own and want them to have a fun and stress-free time with me. One of the biggest reasons I feel confident caring for dogs is because I rescued an 11-year-old Pug and gave him the best life I possibly could. Taking care of him taught me so much about senior dogs and their needs, including being patient with their routines, mobility, comfort, and individual personalities. I also regularly take care of my uncle’s 2-year-old dog, so I’m used to the completely different energy and needs of a younger dog. I’ve also had several friends ask me to dog sit because they know how comfortable I am around dogs and how well I take care of them. Honestly, that’s what gave me the idea to sign up for Rover. I already love taking care of dogs, and I’d love the opportunity to do it for more families. Since I work from home, taking care of a pet fits very naturally into my daily routine. My schedule is also pretty flexible, and most of my meetings can be moved around if needed. If a dog needs to go outside, wants some attention, or just needs a little break during the day, I’m able to step away and take care of them. I’m also often in longer meetings where I’m on mute for a good portion of the time, so I can still have them beside me, play with them, or give them some attention and cuddles while I work. I like having that flexibility because I don’t want a pet to feel like they’re being left alone all day. I’d be able to give them plenty of attention throughout the day, as well as make time for walks, playtime, and care before. during and after work. I try to make pets feel as comfortable and at home as possible, while keeping their normal routine as close to what they are used to. Before taking care of a pet, I like to learn about their personality, feeding schedule, walking routine, favorite activities, and anything they may be nervous or particular about. Every dog is different, so I think it’s important to follow what works best for them rather than treating every pet the same. Since I work from home, I’m able to give pets a lot of attention throughout the day. I can take them out for walks or potty breaks, play with them, give them plenty of affection, and make sure they always have fresh water and are comfortable. If they want to relax beside me while I work, I’m more than happy to have them there. I also understand how important it is for owners to know how their pet is doing while they’re away. I’m happy to send regular photos and updates so you know they’re safe, happy, and getting plenty of attention. Most importantly, I treat every pet in my care like they are my own and make their safety and well-being my priority.
About: I worked full time as an emergency veterinary care assistant for a few years, so I am very comfortable and familiar with all kinds of dogs! I have plenty of free time to schedule you in and drop by with short notice on weekends and evenings in Midtown!
