“Anna looked after our two guys for a week following a last minute request. One of them has some medication needs and that was no problem at all. Anna was great at communicating with us and keeping us up to date with photos and videos to let us know how they were doing. And we could tell by the videos how great of a time they were having! I'd be happy to recommend her to anyone who asks!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! While we were away on a 7-day family vacation, she took amazing care of Zues .. from regular walks and feeding to giving him lots of love and attention. What truly stood out were the thoughtful updates she sent us along the way, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear our dog was happy and well cared for the entire time. Highly recommended.. we’re so grateful to you Karen .. thank you 🙏”

“While we were on vacation, our dog Daisy stayed with Bob for the week. She absolutely loves going there—it’s like a little getaway of her own! She had a blast playing with the other dogs, and Bob was amazing at sending us daily pictures and updates. It gave us such peace of mind knowing she was happy and in great hands. Thanks again, Bob!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Manvi and the incredible care she provided for our golden doodle, Mango. Leaving your fur baby behind while traveling is never easy, but from the very start, Manvi was very trustworthy. Mango can be quite a picky eater, and Manvi went above and beyond—taking extra time and initiative to make sure he ate well. It meant the world to us knowing she treated him like her own. He had a blast playing with her daughter and was visibly comfortable and happy with their whole family at all times. Throughout our trip, we received regular updates with photos and videos, which gave us such peace of mind. Seeing Mango relaxed, well cared for, and having fun made all the difference. I would recommend Manvi without hesitation and will absolutely be reaching out to her again in the future. Thank you, Manvi”

“Lise is amazing. She was able to accommodate us on short notice which we greatly appreciated. Sent messages, pics, and updates every day! Lise clearly loves dogs and knows what she is doing. A real blessing to not worry about Mylee so we could enjoy our trip! A lovely experience start to finish. ❤️”

“Dear Peter, Lilian and all the family thank you very much for being a family for my dog Molly 💖 while I was in a trip. My dog is very specific and do not allow pet her to the people. “I definitely will bring my dog back to Raquel. Picking him up after a week’s vacation I was amazed he had no stress symptoms from excessive licking, nail biting etc…. Sully obviously felt safe was happy and well cared for. As a Service Dog separation can be very difficult for us both. I’m positive Sully gives Raquel a 5⭐️ too.”

“Christine is such an amazing caregiver! Loompa loved staying there and had fun with her 2 fur babies. She made sure to update us every day with his activities and with lots of pictures. Therefore we had a stressfree trip. We would definitely rebook for future. Thank you!”

“Loved the home, Nora seemed really happy there, she immediately started exploring the place, Marc and Christine kept updating me with pictures and videos. I am looking forward for a home away from home for Nora when we are not around and this could be it. They are very loving family. When we got Nora back she was little adrift from us for few hours not sure if she missed Marc and Christina and family or she had separation anxiety.”

“Absolutely amazing! Lorraine came to visit our cat every day while we were on vacation, and everything went very smoothly, our cat seems to have taken with her well, everything we needed was taken care of and she sent us a ton of updates and pictures all throughout so we wouldn't miss him too much! Can't recommend more.”

“Emily did a fantastic job sitting Moose and Maverick. Never has anyone got close to them as quickly as she did. Normally they run and hide when someone visits. Emily got them to interact with he on the first visit.she is definitely a cat whisperer. When I came home they greeted me immediately. Which was unusual. They were very friendly, no hissing and stayed with me the rest of the night.I really think they were expecting Emily. I thank Emily for a job well done and look forward to having her look after Moose and Maverick in the future.”

“I can’t say exactly say why, but I’ve had terrible experiences with finding a reliable sitter that Lucy and I both liked, until now. I was leaving for the Caribbean and needed a reliable caregiver for Lucy that I could trust. Will was and is fantastic. We booked him for this weekend too and again it went seamlessly. There was something that went wrong in my home and I’m so grateful that Will handled it perfectly. Most importantly, he took really great care of Lucy and our home!”

“Great communication! Meredith is lovely and truly cared about my cat. I was anxious about leaving her all by herself but I needn't have worried. I got lots of updates and pictures/videos. Everything was perfect when I got home from my vacation. So appreciate you.”

“Julie was very accommodating and super easy to work with. Took care of our cat while we were on vacation, and we came back to a happy kitty. Very well taken care of.”

About: I’ve owned and taken care of pets for most of my life. Growing up my family has had dogs, cats, bunnies, fish and even a cockatiel. I’ve house sat and dog sat multiple times and come away with a new best friend each time. I work full time from home during the week on a fully flexible schedule. I can essentially take breaks from work whenever I need throughout the day to attend to any errands or responsibilities on my schedule, pet care included. I am generally pretty free in the evenings & weekends. I am a young, agile and strong pet lover who can adapt to the animal I am with. For bigger more domineering animals I am comfortable taking care of them & for more docile pet I can be a delicate gentle teddy bear as well!
About: I have had pets of my life. I currently own 2 dogs and 2 turtles. I have also taken care of friends' pets when they were travelling alone. I can handle medicines and injections. I have had a dog with leishmania and also took care of a dog with diabetes many times. I can also arrange safe feeding spots and schedules if the dog needs them. I currently have my furred baby and 2 turtles. I have been a dog owner since I was 15 and never stopped since. I have taken care of dogs with different needs, from a diabetes to a rescued dog who had special feeding needs. They are all welcomed and loved. Currently on a hybrid work with alternate days with my husband. I can adapt to any needs as safe space, crate, feeding schedule, medications. I have the will, the possibilities, and the experience.
“Richelle was very professional and diligent - she took care of my kitten at the same time every day and provided him with lots of entertainment. I would not hesitate using Richelle again.”

“We had a positive experience with Rachel. While we were away for a night, she visited our home to feed our two cats who need individualized portions and are quite scared of strangers. Rachel followed our instructions and left our place clean. Thank you, Rachel :)”

“Emily is amazing! She is super friendly with a lovely, sparkling personality. She has experience with older cats. My cat, Dipsy, is 16 and Emily took great care in following my care instructions. She stayed the whole week in our home, caring for Dipsy when we went on vacation. Dipsy warmed up quickly to Emily. He can be a picky eater, but he ate happily under Emily's gentle care.”

About: I’ve worked one-on-one with cats since I was around 14 years old. I first started at the Burlington Humane Society where I worked with cats of all sizes breeds and temperaments. My volunteer work included feeding cats cleaning their shelter spaces and making sure they were comfortable and cared for each day. I also prepared different types of food for cats with specific needs and helped give medications when needed. Part of my role included keeping track of food intake bowel movements and other important health information. I believe the little details can make a big difference when caring for animals. Through my experience at the humane society and at home I’ve met many amazing pets and learned that every animal has different comfort levels and boundaries. I’m very patient understanding and respectful of each pet’s personality no matter their temperament.
About: We have been fostering puppies for the past 5 years and puppysat for other families. Experience with puppies form 8 weeks old. Has experience with neuter care and with females in heat. Also had cats for over 17 years. I should be available after work and on the weekends. Due to the nature of my job I have a more flexible schedule in he summer. We have a small fenced in back yard. There is a park nearby and lots of green spaces in the area to go for walks.

About: Our family love all pets, and our little husky is very calm and loves playing around with all breeds. I've grown with dogs and other kinds of pets all my life, back in Mexico, friends and family would trust their furry friends with us. Not a professional groomer or anything but have raised, trained and cared for many, I used to go help our vet, when I wanted to be one as a kid. I work from home, so I’m around most of the day to give your pup plenty of attention. Our husky, Blue, is my walking buddy—we usually go on a couple of walks a day, and she also enjoys hanging out in the backyard or napping on the couch. If you’re comfortable with it, I’m happy to take your dog along to the dog park, just like I do for Blue. I can give oral medications if needed and will always keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing how your pet is doing. Since I work from home, my schedule is flexible. I typically go on 2–3 walks a day and have plenty of time for play breaks, backyard time, or just keeping your pup company. My daughter has a few activities during the week, but there’s always someone home, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. Feeding times can be adjusted to match your dog’s routine, though I usually feed Blue twice a day. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. Our home is dog-friendly, with a fenced backyard where pups can play and explore securely. Inside, dogs are welcome to relax on the couch or find a cozy spot of their own. I always keep an eye on interactions to make sure everyone feels safe and happy. Whether in my home or yours, I’ll follow your instructions carefully—whether that means sticking to a strict schedule, avoiding certain foods, or keeping walks calm and controlled. You can trust that your dog will be treated like part of the family here.

To end the day, we would have dinner and a long relaxing walk before going to bed. Tons of love and cuddles, play time during the whole day. I provide boarding and day care which includes walks, feeding time and play time. It is a 2 story apartment so your little one will have enough space to exercise, also have a patio and backyard that is nice to chill out when weather permits.

About: I'm finally making my return to Rover! And bringing back much more experience, knowledge, and skills. 🙋🏻♀️ For the past few years, I have trained and boarded a variety of dogs - most of them being rescues. ❤️ When I first signed up to be a foster paw-rent, I dove into the deep end in order to be ready to receive a new dog and provide the best care and home for him. Our first foster dog ended up have a whole host of behavioural issues that really helped us learn how to deal with dogs that may need a little extra attention. I have very valuable experience with reactive dogs that also deal with separation anxiety. Also, my former roommate and I rescued a pup who now is full time with her (I moved into my own house) and even has her own kids book series! (Penny Tries to Boil the Ocean) I am an active individual and enjoy going on adventures! I will protect your dog from anyone and anything so your furry friend will be safe with me and will also feel loved and have lots of fun! I used to be a former lifeguard/swim instructor so if your dog loves to swim, we're meant to be! :) My partner is a paramedic and when he's not at work, he loves to partake in the walking/training/entertainment. I am also flexible so you never have to feel stressed when working with me. I am quick to answer in case you need to reach me. I am against littering so rest assured that I will be a good poop-picker-upper! PS, if you want a mini-photoshoot of your dog while you're at work/away, I'm your person. If you have any questions or want to jump on a phone call, just send me a message. I hope to meet you and your furry baby soon! I'm in tech and work full-time at my home office. It also gives me flexibility so for the most part, I can accommodate different schedules whether if it's for pickup/drop off or for your dog's routine. I live in a lovely neighbourhood and am in a house that is dog-friendly with a small backyard. We have a cat at home, who only gets along with dogs.

About: I am e-collar trained for dogs which is a unique skill. I come from “dog people” and am said to be a dog whisperer. I have 2 dogs, both poodle/doodle mixes under 24 pounds each. I work from home most days and would plan my boarding accordingly. I am often the friend/family boarding spot. I believe in crates for dogs who need it or are trained that way and for many dogs it’s the safest for them when alone both physically and emotionally. I have one dog (rescue) who eats and sleeps in his crate and another who sleeps sideways across the bed. I no longer have cats but have also grown up with them and can do in home visits. I currently work mostly from home. If you are stuck deciding to do that dinner with a friend or in traffic - just message me, I will run over and take care of your pets potty and meals. If you want your dog to stay at home with others but need drop in or a walk, I’m happy to do that too. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs. There is plenty of play, hugs and cuddles for your fur baby. I have plenty of room too if your fur baby likes to be in their own space.
About: IG: Lady.rav Dogs are my happy place — I’ve always felt at home around them. I’ve owned four German Shepherds, all rescues, and have done a mix of personal and professional training with them (including one with dog aggression). Those experiences taught me how to understand dogs deeply, from their body language to the way they respond to human energy. I’m active, love hiking, and think everything is more fun with a four‑legged friend beside me. Dogs usually settle quickly around me and feel comfortable, which makes walks, playtime, and downtime easy and enjoyable. Whether your pup needs exercise, company, or calm structure, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, understood, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m currently building my consulting business, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility during the week to focus on caring for furry loved ones. On weekends, I volunteer helping abuse survivors move into safe housing during the day, so my evenings remain open and available for walks, drop‑ins, and overnight care. My schedule allows me to be consistently present, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your routines closely so your dog feels safe and comfortable. I’m respectful of your space, keep things tidy, and pay close attention to your pet’s body language and needs. I double‑check doors, gates, and safety details, and keep communication open so you always know how your pup is doing. My goal is a calm, secure environment where your dog can relax and you can feel confident while you’re away.
About: I have loved and cared for dogs for years and have an Australian Shepherd named Ginger, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. I’m organized, reliable, easy to communicate with, and genuinely love being around animals. I’ll treat every pet with the same care, patience, and attention I give my own. I work full-time at PepsiCo and am about to start my part-time MBA, but I work from home on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, so I have flexibility for pet care on those days. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I’m generally available in the evenings. Weekends I am very flexible with timing. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I’m organized, attentive, and will follow your instructions closely, including feeding, walking routines, medication, and any special preferences. I live at home with my parents and have a loving Australian Shepherd, Ginger, so I’m very used to being around dogs and making sure they feel safe, cared for, and comfortable.

“Amanda and her family took amazing care of Ripley while we were away! From the initial meet and greet to the boarding of Ripley, Amanda made the entire process smooth and a positive experience for Ripley and us.”

“Cailynn and Roger were amazing pet sitters! They were very thoughtful and went out of their way to take care of Bowie. Communication was great and you could tell they really care about dogs. Highly recommend!”

“Shelly and her family took such care of lulu. I will definitely be asking to take care of lulu again and im greatful for the photos and updates that where sent as well. :) i knew lulu was in good hands.”

“Jeff takes great care of Watson and Watson just loves him! This trip Watson had had an operation on his foot and it was no problem for Jeff to put the cream on and it healed beautifully. We get lots of photos which helps us to not fret about being away from him. Thoroughly recommend.”

“Koji and Diane were great pet sitters that took great care in making Bella comfortable and safe. They were very accommodating with Bella while she dealt with recovering from a cut on her ear and had to wear a cone and administered ear drops without hesitation.”

“Bruno stayed with Megan for a month, and I couldn’t recommend Megan enough. I was stressed about leaving him for a month, but Megan made the whole experience completely stress-free, and I never had to worry at all. They regularly sent me pictures and updates. Bruno also became best friends with their dog, Ella, who is so sweet hearted, which made his stay even better. Their family was lovely as well, and they treated him as part of the family. It was clear he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. I’m so glad to know Bruno has a second home. I will definitely book again if we go on another trip or if something comes up. I would absolutely trust them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter.”

“Mana treated our dog like her own and we couldn’t ask for more! She is super attentive and mindful and it was such a comfort to know how well he was looked after. We will not hesitate to rebook!”

“Another great stay with Anne! Charlie was well looked after and seemed very comfortable and relaxed returning to Anne’s. He was a bit unsettled at night and woke her up a couple times - we appreciate her patience with him in getting him settled and back to sleep.”

“Thank you so much Blaine, for treating Leo like your own. Will definitely board Leo with you again. Appreciate the time chatting about the time spent when I picked him up. Thank you.”

About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and had a dog from the age of 5 until he sadly passed away last year. I’ve helped my sister with Rover dog sitting and have also cared for friends’ dogs. I’m patient, responsible, and will always treat your pets like family. I’m currently in online summer school, so I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home. This allows me to give pets lots of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day. I live in a safe, pet-friendly home with my mom and a fenced yard for dogs to play safely. Pets will always be supervised, given lots of attention, and cared for according to their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and at home.
“Irene was terrific with Remy. He took to her right away. She kept him busy with his favorite activity - playing fetch. He was very happy staying with Irene and she kept me updated with pictures and information as to how he was settling in. Would highly recommend Irene.”

“We had a wonderful experience with our Rover sitter! Frankie spent 10 days with their family and had an amazing time. He absolutely loved their incredible backyard and enjoyed playing with their kids. It gave us peace of mind knowing he was being cared for in such a welcoming and family-oriented environment. Frankie came home happy, well cared for, and clearly enjoyed his stay. We are so grateful for the excellent care they provided and would not hesitate to book with them again. We look forward to having them watch Frankie the next time we’re away!”
