We have had small dogs staying with us for many years on + off. Volunteering with dog rescues and home boarding. Daily walks + indoor playtime if weather isnt suitable. Green areas are nearby for walks + socializing. We enjoy the small sized, older dogs also. Dog should be at least 18 mths old. Fully housebroken! No puppies please.

We prefer to leash your baby when going outside for their business. Dog is allowed on furniture, or on our bed in some cases. On smaller dogs we prefer to have a harness if you have one for walks. Crate is used only if that is preferred when at your home.

About 25-30 lb is favoured. Puppies are lovely, but housebroken and over 18 months is preferred. I like to know yr babies sleeping habits. Also any health issues they might have. Mini dachshunds, shih tzu, yorkies, poodles, or frenchies, up to about the size of a cocker spanial, plus other smaller size Weekend get always, business trips or day care stays. Short notice is usually okay also. I would like , your email, your cell phone where you can be contacted. I’ll keep you updated with pictures and notes. I know yr furry friend will enjoy a stay with my hubby and in our quiet clean, smoke-free home. 🐶Your Doggies Home Away from Your Home
A typical day
Fun games + walks outside + ball + squeeky toss indoors. Walks in my quiet neighbourhood, or the green areas in good weather, playtime, large lawn space for a good play, meal time can remain at same times you have at home. We are retired so with the pet a lot of the time, we are Covid careful and always have your dog on a leash while outside. Not left outside alone. Short trips occasionlly is about my limit for going out. I don't prefer to crate yr dog unless it is used to this at yr home?. Allowed on furniture, in some cases sleeping on the bed.

WE ARE DOG LOVERS, OFFERING HOME CARE FOR YOUR FUR-BUDDY We have always had dogs in our home. Our pet care experience is quite extensive. We have volunteered with 2 different dog rescue groups Cdn Dachshund Rescue + Tiny Paws Ontario over a 5 year period where we fostered and home boarded puppies, seniors and small dogs of all ages. This led us to offering home boarding and daycare for your baby. We are an active senior couple on a вυdget, which is нelped вy carιng ғor your ѕмall dogѕ. Being active retirees, we have time to offer attention and fun. Our home is to be enjoyed like your home. Daily walks and playtime are offered if your pet is interested or used to it. I don't use a crate unless that is what you prefer. Administration of meds or shots is vet approved. We are a smoke free, clean + well cared for home. Smaller dogs + seniors are our specialty. We would love to meet yours.

Maggie was great with my toy poodle. My dog tends to be shy with strangers but with Maggie and Brian she was very comfortable with them and she even sat in their laps. My dog was constipated and she had loose stools and Maggie picked up some pumpkin to give to her to help my dog regulate her bowels. I was very happy with Maggie & Brian and felt that my dog was in good hands .
