A Loving, Family Dog Retreat!
We are a lifelong animal-loving family who would love to welcome your dog into our home. Between the two of us, we’ve had pets since childhood and have over 15 years of experience caring for our own dogs. We have two children (ages 8 and 10) who have grown up around animals and absolutely adore them. Our home also includes two friendly cats and our 3-year-old golden retriever, Astro, who is always excited to make a new friend. We only host one dog at a time, so your pup will receive lots of personal attention, play, and affection. We are a smoke-free home with a fully fenced yard, and in the summer our pool becomes Astro’s favourite splash zone. Dogs are truly part of the family here - they’re welcome on the furniture, in our living spaces, and even to sleep in our beds if that’s what they’re used to. Our goal is for your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and completely at home while you’re away. We would be honoured to care for your pet and treat them like one of our own.

Leo truly enjoyed his stay with Cailynn and Roger, who are a very loving and kind family. From the videos and pictures they sent, I could tell he felt right at home.
Cailynn and Roger were amazing pet sitters! They were very thoughtful and went out of their way to take care of Bowie. Communication was great and you could tell they really care about dogs. Highly recommend!
Cailynn, Roger, her two girls and dog Astro are absolutely lovely! They did a fantastic job caring for my high energy German Shorthaired Pointer Rexy for two nights. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a loving family to take your dog in and make it feel at home!

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into our family’s routine. I am a teacher, so I am home by 4:00 PM each weekday, and I am home full-time throughout the summer with our kids. My husband has a very flexible job and generally works from home for most of the day as well. On the occasional days when he needs to step out for work, our golden retriever Astro often joins him for the car ride - and we’re happy to include your dog too if they enjoy being in the car. If not, Astro can stay to keep your dog company and they would never be left alone for more than a couple of hours at most. We are also home together every weekend, so your pet will have constant companionship, supervision, and care. Your dog will truly be part of our daily life - not treated like a drop-in guest. 🐾

We provide loving, in-home care where dogs are treated as part of our family, not just guests. Our home is fully pet-friendly, with a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and plenty of space inside to relax, explore, and feel comfortable. Your dog will have companionship from our friendly 3-year-old golden retriever, Astro, as well as our two gentle cats, who are very used to being around dogs. Our two children (ages 8 and 10) have grown up with animals and are kind, respectful, and love helping care for them. We are a smoke-free home, and dogs are welcome on our furniture and to sleep in our beds if that’s what they’re used to. In the warmer months, our backyard pool becomes a fun option for dogs who love to swim. Our goal is to provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where your pet feels secure, happy, and right at home while you’re away.

A typical day
Dogs are part of our family, and we love keeping them happy, active, and feeling right at home. We enjoy going for daily walks, trips to the park, playing fetch in the backyard (and sometimes in the house!), and swimming when the weather allows. Our kids adore playing gentle games like hide-and-seek with our furry guests, and of course there’s never a shortage of snuggles and love. We treat every dog like our own and make sure they get plenty of fun, attention, and affection while they’re with us.
