I work full time from home, and a typical day has me on a varied schedule of on line meetings. Pets are welcome to roam the house, work with me in the office or nap wherever they like. Weekends can sometimes be a little busier with the typical household routines, but pets would never be left alone.

I am blessed to have a large, fully fenced in yard. Plenty of room for your dog to enjoy a good 'sniffari'. Pets are welcome on the furniture (of course no chewing or clawing), and I am happy to make accommodations as needed and agreed upon (ei: close bathroom doors, because they like to steal toilet paper rolls ;)

If possible, lets connect before confirming a booking to make sure we are a fit! I truly love all animals, and dont have a lot of deal breakers - but would be interested in knowing more about how your pet likes to be loved. I am open to learning your pets unique needs and making sure their stay feels like home. If your doggo is not fully house trained, perhaps a puppy or little that uses pee pads - do let us know. We are happy to work with you, just prefer not to have the ‘surprises’ As mentioned, I work from home on a varied schedule of on line meetings. When booking I always ensure that drop off and pick up times leave my schedule open to ensure we are not rushed. If your schedule changes and you are not able to drop off or pick up on time, just let me know so that I can try to adjust as well :)

We have a large enough yard to play fetch, run off some zoomies or explore. Its a wonderful mature family neighborhood with quiet streets to take for a nice long walk, or even a quick short one. There are plenty of squirrels to bark at from the sliding door :) Lets talk about what your doggo needs and see what we can make happen!

I've lived a life surround by animals and caring for them, this includes both dogs and cats. We loved our Shi Tzu Charlie for 12 years before he crossed the rainbow bridge, he lived a life full of cuddles, belly rubs, walks, play time and good couch naps. I remember how hard it was to find a place (person) to care for him when he couldnt be with me, so now I am opening my heart and home to families experiencing the same challenge. He had a heart condition, so I am familiar with giving meds and watching for the signs of a senior pet needing a break.

Our first time using Melanie and it couldn't have gone better. Sadie really warmed to Melanie in our meet and greet, so she was very excited at drop off. Melanie sent daily updates and the cutest pictures. Sadie looked very relaxed and contented. I am very grateful for the excellent care Sadie received. Thank you so much! Will definitely book again.
This was our fist time having Ivy stay with Melanie and her family for a week. Melanie kept us informed of how Ivy was doing and shared pictures. This information helped us feel at ease while we were away. Thank you Melanie Will use Melanie again.
Melanie and her family did a wonderful job taking care of Charles. It was my first time leaving him overnight, and from the moment I met them, I knew he would be well cared for while I was away. The updates throughout the day were great and kept me feeling at ease, knowing he was having a good time. I definitely recommend booking Melanie!
