“Shawn is excellent with Cosmo. He works with the individual needs of the dog, making sure that they're comfortable and happy on the walks. They became friends very quickly. Very happy to have found Shawn on Rover.”

“Kseniia and Alex have been amazing with Blue. They’re reliable, gentle, and truly attentive to his needs. Blue gets so excited to see them, and we always feel completely at ease knowing he’s in such caring hands. Their updates and communication are great, too. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy dog walkers.”

“Jada is an absolute gem of a dog walker! From day one, she's shown an incredible bond with my furry companion. Her passion for animals is evident in every walk, and my dog practically leaps for joy when Jada arrives. She's not just reliable and punctual, but also goes above and beyond with her attentive care. Jada sends the most heartwarming updates and photos during their adventures, which always bring a smile to my face. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and it's clear my pup returns home happy, exercised, and showered with affection. I'm beyond grateful to have found such a trustworthy and skilled dog walker. Jada has become an essential part of our routine, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone seeking top-notch care for their four-legged friend. We're looking forward to many more walks with Jada!”

About: I have spent my life caring for animals, growing up alongside a wide variety of breeds including Rottweilers, Huskies, Boston Terriers, and Jack Russells. I have experience managing different temperaments, sizes, and energy levels. Recently, I parted with my two closest long-term companions my 11 year old tabby, Captain, and my 10 year old Bully, Whiskey. Stepping into pet sitting allows me to offer my experience and structured care to other pet parents in need of a reliable handler. I will be the sole caretaker in the household. The environment is quiet, organized, and structured. There are three cats who are fully accustomed to dogs; they are highly independent and generally indifferent to guest pets, choosing to interact if a dog matches their energy. I am available for boarding and house sitting. My work schedule runs Monday through Friday in the afternoons (exact hours can be detailed during our consultation). Dogs staying with me will experience a relaxed, low-stress environment with routine potty breaks and dedicated attention. I reside in a 3rd-floor apartment with reliable elevator access. For senior dogs or those with mobility restrictions, I am physically capable of lifting and carrying larger breeds up and down the stairs if necessary. Due to the resident cats, I strictly accept dogs that are safe, relaxed, or neutral around felines.
“This is the second time we’ve booked walks with heather while we were on vacation. Bao always has the best time with her and is super excited to see her! She’s super punctual and easy to communicate and coordinate with!”

“Gabriel is very good with Ace! He is punctual, funny and knows a lot about dogs! I like that Ace is comfortable around him. I’ve used Gabriel 2 or 3 times now and will continue. Thank you so much Gabriel!”

“Lucas is great with the dogs, comes daily and checks in when needed. He let me know when something happened with one of the dogs immediately and I really appreciated his thoughtfulness.”

About: I've had pets almost all my life. From small to large, cats to reptiles, hedgehogs to large dogs. 10 years volunteering in wildlife rehab, with a specialty in rabies vector species (skunks and bats have my heart). Especially fond of cats, small creatures, and large dogs. Fun fact: In nearly a decade of caring for skunks, I've never been sprayed. Animals can tell who we are. I work from home on a flexible schedule. Not typically an early riser, but I set my own hours and am willing to adapt to your pet's schedule. I can't take home anything free-roaming or larger than a hamster cage, as Ali is king of this castle and not welcoming to outsiders. However, I am able and willing to come to you. I'm tidy, respectful, and well accustomed to following detailed feeding/medicating/routine guidelines.

I’m patient, gentle, and always make sure pets are well cared for and happy while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule and can adapt depending on your pet’s needs. I make sure to follow your instructions carefully and keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I pay close attention to their behavior to ensure they feel safe and stress-free. I’m clean, respectful of your home, and will always keep you updated with messages and photos while you’re away.
“Punctual, on time and looked out for my dog by crossing the street when there were other dogs approaching on his walk. I had also called Charmy when I needed help letting my dog out in the backyard while I was away, and she was always on time and sent me photos!”

About: Hi, I’m Katie Latimer – and I’m here to give your pet the love and care they deserve. Caring for animals has always been second nature to me. After losing Brady, a beloved pup who left a big pawprint on my heart, my passion for making animals feel safe, happy, and loved only grew stronger. I now run my own virtual assistance business where I get to work with some amazing pet brands—so animals are a part of both my personal and professional life. That passion also inspired me to launch Sittin' with Katie, my own pet walking and sitting service. It’s the perfect way to combine my love for animals with my work, and I truly feel lucky to do what I do. When I’m not out on a walk with a four-legged friend, you’ll probably find me sending dog videos to my friends, or falling into a (very cute) rabbit hole of pet reels. I genuinely care about every animal I meet and treat them like they’re my own. If you’re looking for someone who will shower your pet with love, keep them safe, and maybe spoil them with a few extra cuddles—you’ve found your match I work from home so it’s easy for me to jump off the computer anytime for a good play session, potty break or just good old belly rubs. I can easily crate your dog if needed and provided outdoor time when at your house. I won’t surround them with any other animals unless permission is advised by my clients
About: I have 12+ years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’ve supported neighbors and family with daily walks, feeding schedules, enrichment, and basic training reinforcement. Because I work from home, I’m highly responsive and can provide reliable, consistent care. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, and administering simple medications if needed. My goal is always a safe, structured, and loving experience. Your pet won’t just be walked — they’ll be genuinely cared for. I treat every dog like my own and take the time to understand their personality, energy level, and routine. As someone who truly misses my own furry friends back home, I pour that love into every pet I care for. Since I work from home, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I’m able to provide consistent walks, drop-ins, and check-ins throughout the day without rushing. I’m available weekdays during daytime hours and most weekends. Because I’m home-based, I can be flexible and responsive to your pet’s specific schedule and needs. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. During walks, I use secure leashes and stay alert to surroundings at all times. I avoid overcrowded areas and ensure dogs are comfortable and hydrated. In your home, I respect your space and carefully follow feeding, medication, and routine instructions. I always double-check doors, gates, and locks before leaving. Clear communication and photo updates are included with every visit.

Living near plenty of green space, we love going for walks and would love to walk your furry family members too! When we’re not out walking, we love to play with and snuggle our furry friends! Working with the school system, I’m almost off work for the summer months and will have plenty of time to help care for your loved ones! I have a large, fenced in yard, live near green space and a dog park, and have two puppies of my own to keep your fur baby company if you wish! We have lots of toys for the pups to play with and we always love a good snuggle!
About: Hi, I’m Jaida! If there’s one thing people know about me, it’s that I love animals and am happiest when I’m around them. I currently work part-time as a dog groomer and previously worked at a dog daycare, where I spent my days supervising, training, and caring for dogs. Those jobs have given me experience working with dogs of different breeds and sizes, and helped me become comfortable handling different behaviours and situations. I also have two large dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet. I’m currently an undergraduate student hoping to build a career working in veterinary medicine. Spending time with pets is something I genuinely enjoy. Whether your dog wants to spend the day playing or would rather relax beside someone, I’m happy to adapt to what makes them comfortable. Since I work part-time, I have a flexible schedule and can often make time for pet care throughout the week and on weekends. I’m reliable, easy to reach, and happy to send pictures and updates while you’re away. When caring for your pet, my goal is to make things feel as normal as possible for them. I’ll take the time to learn their routine and follow it closely, from feeding schedules to walks and any special instructions you may have. I know being away from their owner can be stressful for some pets, so I try to make sure they feel comfortable and secure while you’re gone. My experience in grooming and daycare has taught me how to read dog body language and recognize when a dog is excited, nervous, tired, or needs space. I’ll always pay attention to how your pet is feeling and adjust my approach to what works best for them. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll treat your space with respect and leave everything the way I found it. I know pets are family, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable, whether that’s during a quick walk, a drop-in visit, or an extended stay.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brampton
I would highly recommend Kurtis. I was extremely happy with him. Once Oscar met him and realized he was there to walk him, Oscar was more than eager to go with him. I could tell Oscar felt very at ease with him too. I would definitely use Kurtus everytime going forward. He was great. Thank you again Kurtus!

Aidan walked and fed max for us a night that we were getting home late. He was kind enough to come by a day before to meet him and played with him when our dog didn’t want to go for a long walk because he was antsy to get home. Would definitely recommend and will be using him again :)

Anna has been wonderful with our dog. We can count on her being on time for her visit and walk with Hank daily. Thanks to her, he has been fed and is very content when we get home. We feel fortunate to have found Anna to help care for Hank when we are unable to.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Brampton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
