As a little girl, I always said I wanted to be a Veterinarian, as the years went on I found myself in school for advertising and architecture, two diploma's later and I still wasn't content. Grooming fell into my life through my Dad, he knew I always go back to talking about a career with animals and that I've always had a creative/artistic interest and eventually encouraged me to try it. Fast forward to the present and I'm loving this career, it's definitely not an easy job working with animals but cuddling puppies makes up for it! I am also a dog owner to a beautiful 14 year old male Golden Retriever named Dash; his name still matches his personality to this day. He is a very rambunctious and adventurous dog who never gives up on our long hikes. I plan on giving your pets as much love and affection as possible - I completely understand being busy and not always having time to give proper attention to your pet. I like to take them for a walk 3-4 times in a day. Play with them and also provide them food 2-3 times a day depending upon their schedule. I have a huge park in my building area if incase your dog wants to go out and enjoy a sunny day! I also feed them food as per the instructions given by the dog owner. I make sure I put up their leash before I take them out. I also make them comfortable and cozy when they want to sleep. Play with them, pet them and cuddle them most of the times.

About: Apart from having pets all my life, I’ve spent years rescuing animals in need. From cats to dogs to birds, you name it. Rest assured, your pet will be treated with the same love and patience I have for my own. I'm currently in between switching jobs hence timing will not be much of a problem. I'm available for pet sitting from 10 am to 8 pm throughout the week. My pet Freya, is mainly an indoor cat but is also leash trained for walks in the park she sometimes accompanies me on. She's on a wet food diet (fancy feast pate) with freeze dried chicken as a topper. She has a steel litter box that helps keep it odour free and fresh. My home is also cat proofed in every way.

About: I have had my pet bird for 11 years, graduated the vet assistant program in August 2023, and have been volunteering at a cat shelter for almost 2 years now but other than the shelter experience, and around four months worth of experience from school working with different kinds of animals, bunnies, rats, mice, farm animals, etc!! But as for how does PetCare fit into my daily routine, Since I have a bird, it’s something I do daily, multiple times a day, and have been doing every day for the past 13 years , it’s all about patience and continuously bettering the care I can give.
