He followed all the instructions that were given and also administered medication to our senior dog. Eve and Tyson were in absolute paradise as Shawn took them out to play several times daily and gave them lots of love and attention. About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always connected more strongly with them than humans. I had 2 cats and a hedgehog when I was growing up. I currently have a 6 year-old golden doodle, Finn. I do all the care for our dog, including feeding, walking and poop scooping, of course. I love long walks(with all the sniffs), playing fetch and a good cuddle on the couch. When it comes to more exotic pets, I don't have much experience. I am quick to pick things up and always looking to try new things/ meet new critters. I am not currently working, so I have a very open schedule for housesitting + regular dog walks. I volunteer during the summer with protecting native turtle with the Heart Lake Turtle Troopers🐢 Though I cannot accept pets into my house, I am able to come to your home so your pet is comfortable and happy. I will ask lots of questions during meet + greets to get an idea of your pet's routine and/or any restrictions. I am very attentive to safety, ensuring pups are kept a safe distance from other dogs, people and everything on wheels. I love going on long walks at their pace to get in all the good sniffs!

I have been pet sitting for 10 years and have two Labradors and a Norwegian Forest cat of my own. Because one of my Labs is a senior with special needs, I have extensive experience keeping older or high-maintenance dogs safe, happy, and well cared for. That said, I am very active and love to run and play with high energy dogs and cats who need a good run around! Either way, I am keen to learn about how I can best take care of your companion and home. I’m currently working from 9-5 in office Monday - Thursday and online on Fridays. I am available in the mornings, during the middle of the day, and anytime after 5pm for walks from Monday - Thursday. Friday - Sunday I am available all day. I understand that it can be difficult to invite someone into your home to take care of your companions. For that reason, I am very detail-oriented and will treat your home and pets with utmost respect. I am careful to make sure doors are closed and locked properly when I exit, can send photos and videos of your pets and make sure their feeding / medication schedule stays consistent.
