I have my own dog and had a variety of pets growing up. I've watched many dogs and care about them like they're my own. My own dog loves mud and dirt so I am used to giving baths and cleaning paws. I have helped bathe and dogssat a great Dane mastiff mix, so I'm comfortable with bigger dogs. I pay attention to dogs' boundaries and needs to ensure they have the best time possible. I was a vet assistant, so I have experience comforting dogs in times of stress and staying calm if a problem arises.

First time user for Rover and went well. Max provided daily updates, lots of pictures and even got close to one of our anxious cats who we give special attention to. Our neighbours told us our Labrador got lots of walks and playtime in the backyard which we were delighted to hear. Planning a trip and leaving pets behind is stressful. Was happy her love of animals made it so much easier.
As always, Max is amazing with our pets! They adore her and so do we!

I spend as much time as possible with your dog and give them my full attention. I will watch your dog's body language to determine what your dog likes and what stresses your dog out. I will do your dog's favourite activities and games to make them feel happy and safe. My dog has separation anxiety because he's a Covid puppy, so I am comfortable looking after dogs with similar issues and dogs that generally need a little more attention.

A typical day
I love to play with dogs in any way. I enjoy playing the dog's favourite games. When requested, I can provide mental stimulation using household items like towels or specialized toys like a slow feeder, a snuffle mat, or a puzzle. I enjoy making dogs happy and spending time with them, so if you give me your dog's regular schedule or what you want to be done with them while you're away, I'm on top of it and will do everything in my ability to make your dog has the best time ever.
