About: I grew up on a farm with tons of animals in Port Hope🐑! So I have lots of experience with pet care and livestock. I have also been dog walking and pet sitting for 5 years outside of Rover. I’ve cared for many senior dogs, and have a lot of experience with different energy level breeds. (For boarding I will only take small dogs under 40lbs) I’m still in school, but I’m free after 12PM on weekdays, and all day on weekends. Please message me so we can find a schedule that works best for you and your pet :) For pet sitting, I am super detail oriented and personally feed my cat raw, so I can be trusted with home-made food and commercial. As I have a very anxious cat, I prefer to not pet sit at my house.

“Claudia and Ken were excellent sitters to Dallas and Elle. Dallas being more senior, made sure that he was extra attended to. While shy at first, Elle quickly settled into her snuggle spots and stole extra love and treats. Claudia and Ken were extremely communicative and constantly kept us updated throughout the day/night. Thank you both for taking great care of our pups!”

“Alex was amazing with our Luna! We felt so comfortable and confident leaving Luna with Alex and they had such a good time together! She took such good care of Luna, we couldn’t be more thankful!”

About: With 15+ years of experience caring for cats, I understand their behavior, boundaries, and individual personalities. I’m patient with shy or anxious cats and attentive to those who need more engagement and play. I’m comfortable administering medications, maintaining spotless litter boxes, and ensuring a clean, low-stress environment. My science background helps me recognize subtle changes in behavior or health, so I can respond early if something seems off. I focus on calm, respectful care—earning your cat’s trust while keeping them comfortable, clean, and well-cared for in your absence. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I’m available nearly full-time—including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings. I structure my schedule around the pets in my care, ensuring they receive consistent attention, timely feeding, play, and any required medications. Because I maintain a flexible schedule, I can accommodate last-minute bookings, extended stays, and visits at times that best suit your pet’s routine—keeping their environment stable and stress-free. I prioritize a calm, clean, and secure environment tailored to each pet’s needs. In a client’s home, I follow your routine closely—feeding schedules, medication, litter or enclosure maintenance, and preferred play styles—to keep your pet comfortable and stress-free. I’m attentive to safety details like secure doors, hazard-free spaces, and proper handling during feeding or medication. I also respect boundaries, especially for shy or rescue animals, and never force interaction. With my experience and science background, I stay alert to subtle behavioral or health changes and act promptly if anything seems off. My goal is to provide consistent, reliable care so your pet feels safe and your home is respected while you’re away.
About: Dogs in our home are treated like family. I provide a safe, loving and structured environment where dogs can feel comfortable, relaxed and cared for while they are away from home. Since I was a child I have always had dogs in my life, and caring for them has always been something I truly love. For me, dogs are like little family members and I enjoy giving them attention, affection and proper care. We have a calm home environment and a good routine that helps dogs feel safe and comfortable during their stay. Our daily routine includes: • Morning potty breaks • Feeding schedules according to the owner’s instructions • Playtime and social interaction • Walks when needed • Quiet nap times throughout the day Dogs who spend the day here usually go home happy and tired after a full day of play and activity. Puppies are very welcome here 🐾 We especially love caring for puppies and small dogs. We understand their energy, their need for attention, and their routines. Puppies require patience and supervision, and we are very comfortable caring for them. We also have a very loved puppy at home named Odin. He is gentle, friendly and well socialized with other dogs. He enjoys playing and helps other dogs burn energy during the day. Our home offers a calm environment where dogs can play, rest and feel safe. in the morning we go out with them to take care of their needs, feed them three times a day, change the water, a calm and peaceful environment for rest. if necessary, we can go for a walk more than once a day. we take care of them with great confidence and love, always attentive to the dog and its needs. Passing on affection and trust. we always do the best I can.
“Tasha really takes the time to get to know your dogs and give them what they need. We were totally comfortable that she was taking the best care of our babies. She communicates and keeps you updated”
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 14. I'm very reliable, punctual, affectionate and I enjoy the company of dogs at all times I work from home in IT and my job allows me to have lots of down time that I can put to good use walking and sitting dogs. I am available Mondays through Thursdays most of the day but I'm very flexible with my schedule in case some special needs require accomodation. One day in advance will suffice I have experience with all breeds, I'm very active and can adapt to your pet needs and schedules. I focus on one dog at a time
About: I like to think I’m basically a part-time pet butler, part-time best friend, and full-time treat dispenser. 🐾 I’m great with puppies who are still figuring out that shoes are not chew toys, and I have lots of patience for senior pets who prefer slow strolls, extra cuddles, and VIP-level care. I’m comfortable with giving medications, sticking to routines, and adjusting to each pet’s unique personality—whether they’re a zoomies champion or a professional couch potato. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel safe, loved, and maybe just a little spoiled while you’re away! Honestly, pet care fits into my routine better than most humans do. 🐾😂 My day happily revolves around walk schedules, feeding times, play breaks, and making sure every pet gets their daily dose of love (and probably a few extra treats). I’m totally fine with early morning potty patrols, midday zoomie supervision, and evening cuddle shifts. Spending time with animals is the best part of my week—they’re cuter, funnier, and way less likely to cancel plans last minute! I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and right at home—whether they’re staying with me or I’m visiting them in their own kingdom. 🐾 My home has a decent-sized fenced backyard that’s perfect for safe playtime, zoomies, and supervised sunbathing sessions. Inside, there’s plenty of cozy space for naps, cuddles, and keeping up with their normal routine. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their feeding schedules, walks, medications, and favorite habits—because I know pets like their routines almost as much as they like treats. My goal is always happy pets, clean spaces, and making sure your furry friend feels spoiled in the best way possible!
About: Hello there! My name is Jenn! I've been taking care of animals for over 30 years! I grew up with a dog and cats and currently own two beautiful kitties. I believe that all animals deserve love, respect and a knowledgeable sitter, which is why I went to school for animal care! I graduated from Durham College last year with a 95 GPA and Dean's list honours, including a grade of 100% in my field placement at Whitby Animal Services. I obtained certificates for "Fear Free", which is a method of animal handling designed to reduce stress and uses compassion and patience over force. I love working with animals of all tempers, sizes and ages. I can pill, perform medical injections and am comfortable cleaning up accidents and litterboxes. I love going on walks and playing outside and I am always responsible with waste disposal. I adore all animals, from fiesty to sleepy, and will always respect boundaries. If they are shy, I let them make the first move. If they are playful, walks and playtime will be a priority. If they are a sleepy couch potato, I've got a laptop and lots of movies. I have also worked as a housekeeper, so I can guarantee that homes in my care will show no signs of me having been there! I will provide my own food but am also happy to prevent food spoilage in your fridge for those extended trips- IE milk. Book today and be reassured that your cat. dog or pocket pet will be in great hands! I am currently between jobs pursuing personal projects so I can easily provide outstanding, fully customizable 24/7 care to any pet parents. I have nothing else to distract me. As mentioned above, I have certificates in Fear Free, so I prioritize the animal's comfort and safety above forcing interactions. I always try to match the pet parent's chedule when it comes to care! If a dog has food in the morning and night and a walk at 2pm, I will stick to that timeframe so the companion animal is not confused. I can also improvise if there is no setschedule, and utilize what the animals enjoy most. Dogs: I always use a leash when I walk dogs and ensure that gates are secured shut before going outside. I always ensure a dog is not showing signs of fear or aggression when engaged in play or feeding, including interactions between two or more dogs. In the rare instance of a dog fight, I know how to break it up. (Blanket method and Wheelbarrow method) I am comfortable crating dogs and also comfortable with muzzles, including how to make one from a bathrobe tie in an emergency. I can safely lift and carry all dogs up to 40lbs and will always ask for emergency vet contacts when a pet parent books with me. I can do injection and pill medication as well. Cats: I always allow cats to make the first move with me. If they wish to interact, I always ensure they are safe and comfortable. I always have a first-aid kit with me in case of swats or accidents during play. I always ensure the doors to the exterior are kept closed. I know how to safely pick up a cat, especially in case of an emergency and will always ask where the cat's carrier is and who their emergency vet is. I can do injection and pill medication as well! I also take excellent care of pocket pets!
“This was my first time ever using a pet sitter, as our dogs have always stayed at a kennel. But due to an unexpected emergency surgery for our female American Bully right before our international trip, we had no choice but to find in‑home care. I was nervous, to say the least — two 100‑lb bullies, one recovering from surgery with sutures still in, and five days out of the country. Rachel was everything we hoped for and more. She stayed in our home and cared for both of our pups with an incredible level of attention, patience, and genuine affection. Our girl needed extra monitoring to make sure she didn’t run, jump, or get too excited, and Rachel handled her recovery with such calm, thoughtful care that I felt completely at ease. I received daily updates and photos — not just quick snapshots, but real moments of our dogs looking relaxed, happy, and completely comfortable with her. Whether they were resting with their heads in her lap or enjoying treats she thoughtfully purchased (with my permission), it was clear they adored her. Traveling while your pet is recovering from surgery is stressful, but Rachel made it possible for us to enjoy our trip without constant worry. She treated our dogs like her own, respected our home, and went above and beyond in every way. I can’t recommend her highly enough. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and truly caring, Rachel is the one you want watching your pets.”

“Rita was very great with our furry babies. From meet and greet to the final day. We loved having around. Thanks so much Rita and you know it. I will be reaching out to you again.”

“We hired Shenley to watch our fur babies while we were away getting married. It was so nice to not have to worry about them and just be able to focus on our day knowing that they were in great hands. We did a meet and greet with Shenley a couple weeks before her stay and her passion for animals was very apparent. She instantly clicked with our babies, giving them their own space and time to familiarize themselves with her. She read our pet guide and was ready to handle their uniqueness. She shared photos with us and answered our texts quickly too. We never for a second felt uneasy during our time away because we knew they were being loved and cared for. That meant the world to us during such a busy and special time. We all hope to see more of Shenley soon 😊”

“Bronte was patient with our high anxiety dog and took the time to get to know her prior to sitting. She is very calm and gentle. She let us know our dog was fine and sent an update. I would recommend her!”

“We are grateful to Sydney for taking such good care of our senior dog. Our sitting request was very last minute, but Sydney responded quickly and positively Sydney administered our dog's, also named Sydney, various liquid medications. She let our Sydney sleep with her, ensuring he felt comfortable and safe. Our Sydney obviously felt comfortable with Sydney, the sitter, because he ate. He is a very picky eater and often won't eat if we are away. Sydney was also good at keeping us informed, sending pictures and asking for clarification about his medicine or routine. I would recommend Sydney and would be happy to have her sit with our Sydney again.”

Robyn was an absolutely fantastic sitter for our dog, Grady. From the very first interaction, her communication was excellent — clear, prompt, and thoughtful — which immediately put us at ease. She was always punctual and incredibly reliable, and it was obvious how genuinely kind and caring she is with animals. Grady absolutely adored her! It’s clear Robyn has a natural connection with dogs and really takes the time to understand their personalities and needs. Knowing he was so comfortable and happy with her meant the world to us. On top of everything, Robyn completely surprised us with a beautiful hand-drawn portrait of Grady. It was such a thoughtful and personal gesture that truly went above and beyond anything we expected. If you’re considering booking Robyn, don’t hesitate — she is wonderful. She is trustworthy, communicative, caring, and clearly passionate about the dogs she looks after. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and will absolutely be booking with her again. Highly, highly recommend!

Lauren and her family were absolutely wonderful! They treated our dog like one of their own and made sure she was so well cared for. We got regular updates and tons of cute pictures, which I loved. I’d definitely have Lauren watch her again and totally recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, reliable dog sitter
