“This was the first time that I have used the services of Rover. I met Carol prior to using her services to care for Jazzy my cat. Right away I felt she was a great fit. Jazzy my cat requires medication twice a day and regular feeding. Carol always was on time and sent me great updates and photos of Jazzy after every visit. It gave me such great peace of mind knowing that Jazzy was in great hands. Thank you Carol. I will definitely be a repeat customer.”

About: I treat every pet like my own and focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I take time to understand their routine and personality, whether it’s an energetic puppy needing structure and basic training or a senior pet who needs extra patience and gentle care. I’m reliable, attentive, and always keep you updated with photos and messages so you have complete peace of mind. I work full-time from home, which allows me to give pets consistent attention and supervision throughout the day. Because I’m home, I can easily incorporate feeding, playtime, litter box cleaning, and check-ins into my daily routine without leaving pets alone for long periods. I structure my schedule to ensure pets stay on their regular routine and feel comfortable in a calm, quiet environment—especially important for cats. I’m also available for morning, evening, and weekend care, so I can be flexible based on each pet’s needs. Being home means your pet gets companionship, attention, and a stress-free environment, not just quick visits I provide a calm, clean, and safe home environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Since I work full-time from home, pets are rarely left alone and receive consistent attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, playtime, and rest, so they feel as at home as possible. For cats, I make sure they have a quiet, cozy space and maintain very clean litter boxes to keep them stress-free. For dogs, I ensure regular walks, play, and structure. I’m attentive to details like medication if needed and always prioritize safety and comfort. I also provide regular updates with photos and videos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is to create a home-away-from-home experience where your pet feels relaxed, loved, and part of the family

About: I have taken care of my own dog for 5 years, I have dog-sat and cat-sat for my friends, and I am currently in school for a veterinary assistant program which I love! I’m currently in school full time but I’m half in-person, half-online, and I have Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays off, with Friday classes ending at 1pm. I will walk them, play with them, take them out for bathroom breaks, feed them, cuddle with them, and make them feel super loved and comfortable. I can give them their medications if you leave instructions on what to do!
About: I have taken care of many family and friends dogs and cats before, sometimes for a few hours, but also for a week or more. Since I am semi-retired I have very flexible hours to care for you pets. Daytime walks are easy for me to fit in to my day since I currently don't work. No in home care provided at this time. I will treat your home and pets with respect and love as though they were my own.
“I had an amazing experience with Zehra. She is a natural with animals and got along so well with our somewhat shy cat. She asked great questions to ensure the visit goes smoothly . She was punctual during the visit and provided great updates about how the visit went with the pictures. Highly recommend her for any pet care!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 10 years and genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I have experience with anxious dogs and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and letting them build trust at their own pace. Because I work from home full-time, your pet won’t be left alone for long periods. They’ll receive plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, enrichment, and walks throughout the day. Whether your pup loves adventure or prefers a slower, quieter routine, I’m happy to match their energy level and individual needs. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away, with plenty of updates and photos so you can have peace of mind. I work from home full-time, which allows me to provide flexible, 24/7 care and supervision. I’m available throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, meals, and medication if needed. Because my schedule is so flexible, I can easily adapt to your pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and at home during their stay. I work from home full-time, so your pet will have lots of companionship, supervision, and frequent walks throughout the day. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with my senior dog, who is used to having canine company. Caring for an older, more sensitive dog has given me a great understanding of anxious pets and the importance of patience and consistency. I maintain a reliable routine while staying flexible to match your pet’s schedule and individual needs. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. 🐾
“Just an overall amazing experience with prompt service and professionalism from Dibakar. I contacted Him while I was away and he was able to accommodate to my schedule to complete a few visits per week, sent photos, showed my cats some love and did a great job cleaning up! Highly recommend and will definitely have Dibakar as my go-to!”

About: I have 8 years experience as a paid dog-walker and have provided drop-in visits. I have been able to provide drop in visits for friends and family. I have also fostered a dog for a rescue. My pet family includes my dog and three cats. I'm currently employed as a part-time dog worker for two families. I really enjoy being around dogs. In the summer of 2021 I walked 6 dogs in addition to my own. I don't offer pet sitting services. It upsets the harmony of the pets that we already have. Thank you for your understanding on this matter.
About: I aspire to make sure our pets receive the love and care they deserve. I have been taking care of pets since I was an early teen and enjoy going on walks with them and make sure that they are never bored while their family is away. I just finished getting my bachelors in landscape architecture from the University of Guelph and would like to exercise my free will and start engaging with animals as frequently as I can. I go on walks daily with my dog and think it would be so much fun to bring another buddy along with her. I will ensure that your pet(s) is feeling right at home and mimic the routine you best prefer for your animal, as well as provide enough attention and activity for health benefits.

I have experience walking, grooming (basic), and caring for various dog breeds and ages and love to go the extra mile! Since childhood, I have taken a keen interest in volunteering with animals and have worked with many wonderful organizations such as Nova's Ark and Action Volunteers for Animals. I have cared for many pets growing up, most recently my 16 year old beagle, Clyde, who sadly passed away almost 2 years ago. I am very familiar with the special needs and care that senior dogs and cats require. I have also taken care of friends and family's pets for extended time periods as well. I am currently working as a Pet Health Consultant at Tail Blazers, a health food store for pets, for almost 2 years now which has allowed me to greatly expand my knowledge of pet care. I bring my love and passion for animals into everything I do in life. I believe our pets are family and so deserve all the love, dignity, and respect! About: I spent 12 years caring for my family cat and learned how to keep pets safe, calm, and happy. I’m patient, responsible, and committed to excellent care. I work full‑time, but I’m available for pet care from Thursday to Saturday and can accept same‑day bookings. On Wednesdays, I’m available after 6 PM. If voluntary time off is available at 3 PM, I can leave work then and arrive shortly after if a client needs care on Wednesday. My dad is allergic, so dogs can’t enter my home. I provide outdoor care with full supervision, using my fenced backyard and dog‑friendly indoor break spots.
“Shenley was a godsend when I needed a pet sitter for our two dogs last month. She gave me great vibes since our first conversation. She came to do a meet and greet and then a test walk upon our request and was so understanding of my anxiety about leaving our babies for a long period. The dogs loved her so much when we were away and looked well taken care of when we returned. I had to revise our schedule a couple of times and she was generous with her time to accommodate us. I can’t say enough good things about her. She is going to be our repeat sitter for sure.”

About: Hey fellow animal lovers! My name is Jess and I am a 29-year old woman who recently returned home after traveling abroad and am dealing with the passing of my father. My own kitten Axel has been an invaluable support during this transition period and I know how important pets are to their families. I have a lot of free time right now and I’d love getting the chance via Rover to spend time with your dogs and cats that I wouldn’t otherwise be able to get! In the past, I’ve had very close bonds with my relatives pets, often sitting them for them when needed. I have also done some foster work with dogs and cats at my local shelter when I was going to university so I’m used to taking care of a variety of different and new pets and attuning myself to the needs and wants of each one, including any medical issues or behavioural quirks. I have fostered extra large dogs, been the walker for more than a few puppies in my time, lived with a geriatric cat for the last years of her life, and now take care of my boisterous and cuddly kitten. I am a very active outdoorsy person who loves to go on long walks or hang in the park so I would love to have a furry friend join me on these adventures! I also love a good indoor cuddle session or playtime at home for whatever dog or cat who needs it. I live in Ajax right by Pickering Village/close to the highway and own a car so I can get most anywhere in Durham for your sitting/walking needs. I’m currently unemployed so I am available any day or time for requests! I hope I get the chance to know all of you and your animals soon!! When it comes to your pets, my schedule is wide open and I am free anytime after noon on weekdays for walking/home check-ins, or anytime at all on weekends. For house sitting, I can make your home my base any day of the week and will only need to leave the house for maximum a couple hours each day just to go to the gym on some weekdays. At my own home, I check/clean Axel’s litter box twice a day, feed him dinner at night (an automated feeder takes care of the rest), and make sure to play/cuddle with him for at least an hour every day! When caring for pets in your home, I’m happy to follow whatever guidelines your household may have regarding feeding, litter cleanup, being let out to pee, enrichment time, training, walks, crating, enforcing house rules, you name it!
“Rayanne gave me full confidence leaving my two little cats in her care while we were away for an extended long weekend. She sent daily updates with photos, ensured that our one cat who is quite afraid of new people was comfortable and coaxed him out from under the bed! I’d recommend her to anyone I know who is looking for care for their pets while they were away!”

Carol was absolutely wonderful with our cats! They took to her so well, which really put our minds at ease while we were away. She has such a calm and caring nature, and it was clear that our cats felt comfortable with her. Carol was also very reliable and prompt with every visit, and we felt confident knowing they were in good hands. We came home to happy, relaxed cats. We would definitely recommend Carol and would happily have her care for them again! 🐾❤️

Elizabeth and Margaret are cat whisperers 😻 super sweet and caring. Spent extra time with our kitties. Took their time getting to know our shy cat. We received lots of picture and video updates which really helped set my mind at ease that my babies are well cared for while we are away. Thank you 😺

Khadija was a fantastic pet sitter for our Pentax! She thoughtfully added water to his wet food to help keep him hydrated during the warmer weather. By the end of her stay, Pentax had really warmed up to her, and it was clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We couldn't be happier with the care she provided!
