“I had an amazing experience with Zehra. She is a natural with animals and got along so well with our somewhat shy cat. She asked great questions to ensure the visit goes smoothly . She was punctual during the visit and provided great updates about how the visit went with the pictures. Highly recommend her for any pet care!”

“Samantha was very friendly and professional. She went out of her way to make sure our cats were well taken care of. She even offered to take out the garbage for us! Would definitely recommend!!”

“Arlene was wonderful with my cat, Rosie. She kept me updated after every visit with messages and photos, and let me know how Rosie was doing and eating. Her communication gave me great peace of mind while I was away. I would definitely book with Arlene again and highly recommend her.”

“Just an overall amazing experience with prompt service and professionalism from Dibakar. I contacted Him while I was away and he was able to accommodate to my schedule to complete a few visits per week, sent photos, showed my cats some love and did a great job cleaning up! Highly recommend and will definitely have Dibakar as my go-to!”

“Julia was amazing with my two babies, autumn and winter. Autumn, who’s usually very shy around strangers, came out of her shell with Julia and was fairly comfortable with her. This was a big win for us. I was nervous leaving my house and kids with a stranger but Julia was not only professional but also kept an eye out for anything amiss with the house. Autumn and Winter were happy and active with her. I would totally recommend Julia to anyone looking for personalised care for their fur babies.”

“Catherine is a caring and patient sitter. I have a shy cat who wouldn’t come out to visitors until they spend half a day around him. Catherine was able to help him come out of his shell after two visits. Her love, patience and expertise are much appreciated! I came home with a healthy and happy cat. I would definitely recommend her to other pet parents, especially those with shy pets.”

About: When I was younger I had a dog named Rascal. He was a golden retriever that I trained to become a therapy dog. Actually, believe it or not, I trained other people on how their dogs should behave to become therapy dogs. I don't do that now but it was a great experience. I'm a personal trainer, most of my clients want to train in the morning or evening, so I'm usually free during the day. I go for walks most days anyways so I figure, why not help out someone and their dog and make a little extra on the side, no matter the weather. I'm a professional and safety always comes first, no matter if it's a person or a dog, your pet's in safe hands. Pets are family, so they need to be taken care of.
“I just cannot express how impressed I have been with Nicki. I have used many Rover contractors for my pup in the past AND i am a Rover sitter myself, so I like to think I know a good match when I see one! This girl is just wicked good! Immediately hire her, don't even second guess your choice, just give her your money please.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 15 years, including my own two pups with very different needs. I have hands-on experience supporting dogs through medical conditions, including helping my first dog through cancer treatment and post-surgery care. I’m also comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions from vets. I have extensive experience with senior dogs, providing the patience, support, and comfort they need. On the other end of the spectrum, my current dog is high-energy and requires a lot of mental and physical stimulation, so I’m well-versed in creating enriching activities and structured routines. Additionally, I have experience with reactive and fear-reactive dogs, including reactivity toward fast-moving objects, children, and other dogs. I understand how to approach these situations calmly and safely to keep everyone comfortable. I’m also familiar with certain e-collars and am open to discussing their use with pet parents if needed. My top priority is always to ensure that your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine! I work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which gives me flexibility for drop-in visits and walks. On those days, I’m available early mornings (before 8 a.m.), during my lunch break (12–2 p.m.), and after 4 p.m. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, I offer evening walks. Weekends vary depending on my schedule, but I keep my calendar up to date so you’ll always know when I’m available. I’m happy to accommodate different schedules whenever possible! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. During drop-in visits, I follow your routine closely—whether that’s feeding, playing, giving medication, or providing potty breaks—so your pet feels secure and cared for in their own space. For walks, I always use secure leashes or harnesses, avoid unsafe areas, and keep a close eye on your dog’s behavior and energy. I’m also experienced with reactive dogs and know how to create calm, positive walking experiences. I treat your home and your pet with respect, as if they were my own.
About: I have 4 cats at home, and 1 even loves going outside for leashed walks or car rides and camping trips. I also work for a pet store, so I interact with dogs of all ages and breeds every day, including potential high stress situations. I work full time at a pet store, but on my days off I’d love to walk with your furry family member to get out some energy and give them some exercise. I work at a pet store, and do rigorous monthly safety training to make sure all of our furry friends and our humans stay safe.
About: I’m a huge dog lover. I’ve raised my pup Piper from a puppy to a senior and loved all the phases. Whether a dog is super energetic, needs a long walk, and lots of playtime or very laidback, prefers a shorter walk, and lounging in the sun - I’m here for it all! If you’re interested I’d love to take care of your pup, don’t hesitate to reach out :) I’m a nursing student, currently taking a break to save some money. Basically - I have a lot of free time, and would love to spend that time taking care of your pet! I believe in following your lead and your pets lead! I take pet care very seriously and care for an animal as it’s my own. Any instruction or guideline for your pet will absolutely be followed, and of course I’ll follow your pets cues - if I sense zoomies I will of course commence play time immediately!
About: I have been working with dogs for over 30 years. I am a CAPDT member and certified dog trainer since 2005. I am currently district area trainer (I train and mentor new dog trainers in addition to having my own clients) and therapy dog trainer. I have trained thousands of dogs from puppies to service dogs. I have raised and fostered dozens of dogs of my own and have decades of experience with all different types of behaviours. I can offer flexible scheduling for dog walking and drop in services for any pet. Spots available 7 days a week. Training services are also available in a fun and safe environment. I can feed/water your pet and crate them if needed. I am a purely positive reinforcement trainer and will use no aversive techniques for your pet.
About: I got my first cat when I was 10, and I’ve taken care of cats ever since. I currently have 3 kitties that are 13, 8, and 3. My sister also has a 6 year old Australian Shepherd who I have helped care for since he was a puppy. We have been on many hike adventures, had too many slumber parties to count, and I’ve even picked him up and cared for him post surgery. I am an animal lover, kind person, and can follow instruction. I genuinely care about animals and have deep respect for the bond one has with their beloved pet. I’m currently working part time, usually in the mornings. I can check in on your animals any day , but can only accept a pet visit that fits around my work schedule. I will try my best to match with the schedule you are looking for. I will follow all instruction I am given to care for your pet in your home and will lead with respect, attention to detail, and the upmost care.
“Russell cared for two of my dogs over a long weekend and did a fantastic job! Both dogs looked incredibly happy in all the pictures and videos sent. Updates were provided promptly for every visit, which helped me feel at ease about not being able to take them with me. I'd definitely recommend Russell to others. Thanks again! :)”

Zahra, was absolutely wonderful!!! Our cats, even the most aloof one, loved seeing Zahra when she arrived to visit. The notes and wonderful pictures Zahra took time to send us were thoughtful, meaningful and caring. She went over and above all our expectations and we truly enjoyed meeting her the day before to gather all the information she needed to care for our lovely fur babies. We highly recommend Zahra to care for your pets and will look forward to hiring her again! Thank you sooo much Zahra... we wish you all the very best!

Elizabeth did such a great job checking on our cat while we were away for the weekend. We were very nervous as this was our first time leaving him, but he loved Elizabeth so much and was very well taken care of! She fed him, brushed him, spoiled him and we can tell he felt safe and got lots of attention.

Faye was absolutely incredible, and consider ourselves blessed to have found her. Our kitties Pickles and Ozzy took to her immediately and looked so good upon return from our 2-week vacation. We would have Faye again in a heartbeat, and look forward to having her care for our cats again in the future. Five stars, easily earned.

Nicki is amazing, and we will definitely be booking with her again in future! Nicki was very friendly and professional during our meet and greet, and our cat immediately warmed up to her. Communication was amazing throughout our time away from home, Nicki followed instructions perfectly, and we really appreciated the detailed updates and pictures following each drop in visit. It was such a relief to know our kitty was being so well looked after while we were away!! Thank you, Nicki!!

Julia was amazing with my two babies, autumn and winter. I would totally recommend Julia to anyone looking for personalised care for their fur babies.

Kiana was great with my two cats. She took great care of them while we were away for 2 weeks and I cannot recommend her enough. Her prompt communication and daily updates were very much appreciated. Thank you so much Kiana for putting us at ease while we were away. Until next time 😊

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
