“I have not left my baby Frank ( 7 month old Bengal ) for more than a few hours before going on my trip this last week and thankfully I found Victoria and Landon. What initially drew me to them was the fact that not only are they pet owners themselves but Victoria works at the zoo. In the beginning I was very worried about leaving my child behind, let alone for the entire week but after meeting with them I felt a lot better and knew right away that they have a genuine love and care for animals. I asked them if they could let me check out their house before my trip to see where Frank would be staying and they agreed right away which I appreciated as I was able to see that frankie would be staying in a clean house and loving environment. Throughout the entire week they were in constant contact with me sending updates and pictures of my little baby, anything I brought up that worried me ( for example: a plant that frankie was allergic to ) was addressed right away, they had moved it for me without question and followed my directions, on top of this they did some fun activities with frank such as paw painting and constantly giving him the love and attention that he needs. By the end of the week my little frankie had made two new amigos ( their cats, keeda and big Ed ) and I could tell he was sad to leave them - this reassured me that he was well taken care of the entire time he was in their care, if I could, I would give more than 5 stars and I recommend anyone to go with these two as they are big animal lovers and super respectful and attentive of anything I asked for to ease my mind while I was away from my child.”

About: Ever since I was 8 years old I always enjoyed taking care of our multiple family cats by feeding and spending quality time with them. I cared for my cat mango for 17 wonderful years and he meant the world to me. I also enjoy spending time with our family dog who we've had for 15 years. I would take him for walks, feed him, pet-sit him while my parents were away, and play with him at the park in his younger years. I have experience litter training cats and my former pet rabbit. Pet care fits into my daily routine as I have many year's experience it's something I am passionate about. I also have a flexible work schedule which allows me to set my own routines without much interference. About: This is our first time getting on Rover but both my husband and I are pet parents and frequently pet sit for a number of friends and family when they travel. I’m an experienced pet parent with two dogs of my own, aged 5 and 6. They’re very friendly and loving and I am very familiar with the care, routine and attention dogs need every day. I understand that every pet has their own personality and comfort level — I am happy to follow your instructions closely to make sure they’re happy and settled. Your pet will have plenty of space and attention with me. I live in a house with a fully fenced yard, giving dogs some space to play and get some fresh air. It’s a non-smoking household and because I live with my husband and mother-in-law, someone will always be home and your pet won’t be left alone for longer than 20 mins if at all. I’m comfortable providing them with regular walks and potty breaks. My dogs are given pee breaks every 4 hours and two walks in the morning and at night right before we sleep. I’m also comfortable with maintaining consistent feeding schedules, playtime, and providing oral medication (what’s not in the list is obvious but I’m also great at cuddles and companionship). My goal is to make every pet feel like part of the pack when staying with us. I work a full time job but I’m mostly remote (I’m lucky). So I’m home throughout and able to give pets plenty of attention and regular breaks. My own dogs are already part of my daily routine with walks, feeding, playtime, and endless cuddles built in. On the rare occasion that I need to go into the office (like once a month but it’s very rare), my husband is home and helps care for the dogs. He is an equally attentive and loving pet parent so your fur baby will have someone around them to keep them safe, loved and cared for. I know how important it is to feel confident that your dog is in a safe space. I have used rover to find sitters for my dogs too and it’s a top priority. Is the house truly dog friendly - no slippery floors, food lying around, chocolate wrappers, sharp edges… I scan for the little things. That is the exact level of attention I put into my home to make sure my dogs (and yours) are comfortable. I live in a house with a fully fenced yard so dogs can enjoy some outdoor time without having the risk of them wandering off. Our home is non-smoking and you can be sure that someone will always be in the house with the dogs, at all times. Before a stay, I’m happy to learn about your dogs routine, personality, feeds, comfort level, and any special instructions so I can keep their experience as familiar and stress-free as possible. I’m also very mindful of introductions between dogs so I can make sure every pet feels comfortable and has the space they need. Most importantly, I want you to have complete peace of mind when you’re away. So if you like, I’ll keep you updated with messages, photos, and videos (I personally like these) and follow your instructions carefully to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and right at home.
