About: When I was younger I had a dog named Rascal. He was a golden retriever that I trained to become a therapy dog. Actually, believe it or not, I trained other people on how their dogs should behave to become therapy dogs. I don't do that now but it was a great experience. I'm a personal trainer, most of my clients want to train in the morning or evening, so I'm usually free during the day. I go for walks most days anyways so I figure, why not help out someone and their dog and make a little extra on the side, no matter the weather. I'm a professional and safety always comes first, no matter if it's a person or a dog, your pet's in safe hands. Pets are family, so they need to be taken care of.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I’ve always been the person my family and friends ask to help watch their dog or to just stop by to let them out and feed them. I’m also capable of following a routine if needed and or making my own planned out routine for the dog. Currently I work part time at petsmart as a dog trainer where I teach classes for all breed and ages of dogs, I’m an accredited trainer and I plan to be certified in the future. I have experience with puppies all ages and I am comfortable with giving medication to old dogs if needed. Currently I work part time at petsmart so I have lost of free time during the week to watch, walk or let out your dog if needed. I am available also for routine visits for the same pet. For all of my pets I have kept or taken care of, I have always followed a routine that I am either given or I create on my own to I make sure nothing gets left behind or forgotten. My goal is to ensure i reach your dog’s daily needs for the time that I’m there with them.

Faye did a fantastic job caring for our 15 year old tabby, Texas. She sent good updates, pictures and videos after each visit. If I reached out with a question, or any need regarding Texas’ care, Faye responded very quickly. I would definitely use Faye’s services again. She is friendly, caring, and professional. Thank you, Faye!

About: I have been a pet owner for over 25 years. Through the years I have fostered, rescued and dog sat many furry friends. I have taken many training courses, worked with local experts and I'm constantly studying the best behaviourists in pet care. I have cared for many seniors with aging issues and my current furry kid is a special needs dog (mostly blind, missing one eye). I have recently become a Certified Canine Massage Therapist and practice regularly. I am also a Canine first Aid instructor (and people CPR instructor), so your fur baby is in great hands! My current services are drop-in and dog walking. I invite and embrace all types of dogs! If you feel your dog is "hard to walk" - let me bring the calm, assertive energy and provide them a fun, athletic experience to get the goofy out! If you have a dog that sees walks as a sniffari - let's do it! I believe in bringing calm guidance, at the same time making sure the dog's "cup is full" by the end of the walk. For visits - I will provide enrichment games and even a little massage if your dog wishes. I bring good, calm energy to your dog, and in turn when I leave he feels happy, healthy and fulfilled in his own doggy energy. I work full time, but I work from home 3 days a week. This allows me to take regularly scheduled breaks for heading outside for a quick walk, play or interaction. My weekend availability is slightly less than weekday, but if the schedule fits I'm happy to assist! I'll keep my calendar updated. I do have some week days blocked off - but if you need early morning visits or evening visits on these days, shoot me a message, I may still be able to help! My fur girl loves to play and discover new dogs (as long as your dog does not have an aggressive nature), and my boy dog just does his own thing. We have a fully fenced in back yard (6ft fence). That's great for those that could be jumpers! Lots of access to local parks and I LOVE walking - I walk all the time and would love to bring a doggo along with me for lots of exercise. Your dog would have full range of my house and we invite doggos up on the furniture for cuddle time (or respect your wishes for keeping them in your routine of staying off furniture) - lots of comfy dog beds in most rooms! If I'm doing a visit to your house - it's all about dog enrichment, care and providing what the dog needs to feel busy and fulfilled. I'm also qualified to provide a quick massage and i'd be happy to provide that to your pooch as part of your service fee. I just love knowing that a dog is left happy and healthy!

About: I have had dogs and cats in my home since I was a child. I've had 2 Huskies (at the same time) so I know what it's like to control strong dogs who love to run. Currently i only accept small dogs under 20lbs. My current dog is small who loves nothing better than to have a pal to play with. All of the dogs I have had have lived out their lives well into their senior years. Some with health challenges. I will be kind and loving to your dog while in my care treating them as I would my own. I'm currently retired and looking to fill my days with work that will keep me active and fulfilled. What better way than to do something I love! My home has a fenced backyard with direct access from the house. For overnight care I have no issues if your pup wants to cuddle up on the bed at night. I live in a great neighborhood for walking with access to parks and forested areas.

About: Hi, I’m Kevin! I’m a lifelong animal lover and I understand that pets are truly part of the family. I recently lost my 7-year-old Swiss Mountain Dog, Karl, and it reminded me how special the bond between people and their dogs really is. Karl brought so much joy to our family, and I want to share that same care and compassion with the pets I look after. I’m reliable, responsible, and enjoy staying active outdoors. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or keeping your pet company while you’re away, I’ll treat your dog like they are my own. I’d love the opportunity to give your furry family member the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I work a consistent Sunday–Wednesday schedule, which gives me great availability on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays for pet care. I’m also able to provide care around my work schedule when needed. I’m reliable, organized, and committed to making sure your pet receives the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I have been around dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities my entire life, and I understand that every dog has their own unique needs and temperament. For walks, I’ll make sure your dog gets safe, enjoyable exercise, plenty of attention, and time to explore at their own pace. I’m comfortable handling energetic dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with different personalities, always making their safety and comfort my priority. For in-home visits, I’ll provide reliable care, companionship, feeding, bathroom breaks, playtime, and the attention your pet deserves while you’re away. I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your furry family member, and I’ll treat every pet as if they were my own.

I was left in a very unfortunate last minute cancellation situation by another rover provider. KIANA SAVED THE DAY! It is hard enough to find someone who is able to provide insulin administration and also on only a few hours notice. Kiana stepped up happily, communicated great, and was so pleasant to deal with. She is my new go to for my sweet cat, Attis, and his health needs. I am so, so lucky to have found her. I’m looking forward to becoming a regular client of hers. Thank you again, Kiana!!!

About: Growing up with cats, I developed a deep love and understanding for animals from a young age. Over the years, I've provided care for a variety of pets, especially cats and dogs, giving me a wealth of experience in handling different breeds and temperaments. In addition to taking care of my own pets, I’ve frequently pet-sat for family and friends, ensuring their dogs received plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while they were away. Whether it's playtime, walks, or simply cuddling up, I’m dedicated to making pets feel safe and loved in my care. Available for pet care during evenings and weekends! I work 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM on weekdays but am flexible for morning or midday check-ins. When pet sitting in a client's home, my approach is centered on providing a comfortable and stress-free experience for both the pets and their owners. Here’s how I manage it: 1) Familiarization with the Home: Before starting, I visit the client's home to understand the layout, locate essential supplies (like food, medications, and toys), and learn about any specific care routines or preferences. 2) Routine Maintenance: I stick to the pets' established routines, including feeding times, exercise schedules, and any specific care instructions. Consistency helps keep pets comfortable and reduces their stress. 3) Regular Updates: I provide frequent updates to the owner, including photos and notes about the pet’s well-being, to keep them informed and reassured.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
