About: I completed my first pet sitting booking (10 days) and I was very successful! Not only were the cat and dog happy but the owner came home right after a major snowstorm to mostly shovelled driveway. My clients referred me to a friend! I intend to complete a pet first aid course in the spring. References upon request. Areas: Guelph, Hamilton, Ajax, Port Perry, Oshawa , Whitby, Vancouver Tri-city area, Peterborough, Cottage Country and more. I work from home so all I need is an internet connection! I am not glued to a desk and I like to situate myself where I can keep an eye out and be by the back door. Hour lunch break is playtime and before and after work a walk. I believe in providing for the pet’s normal routine. I keep my belongings and food out of reach and am ready for behaviours that might come up with their family away. Tummy rubs and playtime ease stress. I maintain the litter box daily so it doesn’t get out of hand. I have education in gerontology and earth science. About: I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember and have experience caring for all kinds of pets. I have my own dog, whom I’ve trained and care for every day, giving me hands-on experience with training, exercise, feeding, and providing lots of love and attention. I’m patient and responsible, and I'll treat every pet like my own. I’m currently in Teachers College, so my schedule is flexible and allows me to fit pet care into my daily routine. I love staying active and working out, so I’d be happy to include walks, playtime, and plenty of exercise with your pet while also giving them lots of attention and care. Some things to note about my schedule: As mentioned, I am currently in teachers college. I’m in a placement from September 21–October 26, Monday–Friday from 9:00–3:30, but I do have an hour lunch break each day, so I may be able to work something out depending on what time you’re looking for. I’ll also be away for school November 14–December 18 to which I won’t be available. Then I’ll have another placement January–February. Outside of those times, I have more flexibility. I’ll provide care in my clients’ homes, following each pet’s usual routine and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’ll keep up with feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions, while giving them lots of attention and making sure their home is kept clean and secure.

About: I'm not as new to professional pet caring now, but I'm constantly learning and I have respect and love for animals. I have cared for pet dog and cat from puppy to old age and I am always learning from experts on how to handle most situations that will arise. About: I was born into a home with pets. My parents, my grandparents, aunts and uncles, all had pets. It was the most normal thing in the world to have a dog or cat cuddle up to me while I played with my toys, watched movies, or did my homework. It was the best kind of life and I am honoured everyday to have lived in the presence of such amazing animals. I couldn’t imagine my life without a pet. Up until this past March, I had a cat named August. We would go everywhere together, on car rides, camping, even sometimes on walks. He would get excited to run, and probably irritated that he could outrun me, but mostly he loved the car. I had always wanted a dog, but I’m waiting until I own a house, for security and space. In the meantime, I melt into other people’s dogs. I love how excited they get to see me, the love they experience in me before they even know me is overwhelming, and it makes my heart melt. I once had a passenger tip me a large tip because her dog, who hates people, loved me. It makes me feel a little impatient to have one of my own but I’m not there yet. So, until then, I am looking to spend time with, caring, for other people’s dogs.
