I’m a freelance commercial photographer and I make my own schedule which leaves lot of free time during my day to look after your fur babies! I use pet friendly candles + air fresheners and cleaning products. Practicing regular and Proper hygiene. Regular teeth brushings. Providing enrichment toys as well as socializing with other dogs.

About: Hi there! My name is Sam! I have been caring for cats and dogs professionally since 2019. I have always been an animal lover, from slimy and scaly to soft and fluffy. Every animal deserves tender love and care, especially while their family is away. It can be scary for pets when their family is away and I understand how a gentle, patient approach can ease that discomfort for pet parents and pet. Safety is my number 1 priority and I’m a big believer in loss prevention, meaning the pets I care for are always secured. Never off leash or in areas that could be a potential danger. I also understand that animals have mental and physical enrichment needs, I aim to stimulate their brains as well as get them moving physically. I have an almost 8 year old dog named Toby, he is a shih tzu mix. I have been caring for dogs and cats professionally since 2019 so Toby is happy to share his house and backyard with friends! I ask that your dog is dog friendly to ensure that both pups are happy during the stay. I also have a 9 year young cat, named Phoebe. She is comfortable with sharing her home with dogs that are happy to give her space. Even if your dog hasn’t been around a cat before I’m happy to do a trail and see how your pup responds, some dogs can be easily redirected and we can make it work! Some dogs have a higher prey drive and redirecting can be hard. A meet and greet prior to a stay will be important to ensure all parties are comfy! I am currently Monday to Wednesday, so I am able to accommodate boarding in our home. I’m currently available Thursday-Sunday for new customers. Arrangements can be made for pups require a stay that falls on Monday-Wednesday. My days are typically opposite to my partner, so your pup will never be home alone long. Safety is my number one priority with every animal I care for. I cannot imagine what I would do if I lost either of my pets. Our backyard is fully fenced and I check often for imperfections such as holes in or under the fence. Your dog will always be on leash while out and about, even if your pup has great recall I will never let them off leash unless in a secure area, such as a dog park or other fenced in area. We use long lines on hikes to provide the off leash experience.

About: I have provided exceptional pet care to furry and feathered clients for over 15 years. I'm certified in Animal Nutrition, Pet Psychology, and Pet First Aid. I work from home, (semi-retired), and have a very flexible schedule to allow for dog walks, pet visits, and sleep overs. I do not have any family commitments. I try to stay with the pet's schedule for exercise/walks/playtime, feeding and sleep to alleviate any stress on the pet and ensure that they are comfortable while their humans are away. I avoid any stressful situations on our walks, and always keep them secured in their fenced yards and never alone, and on leash for our walks.

About: If my animals could speak they would tell you they need alone time lol. They are never alone. Our house is a revolving door of our family coming and going. I am home every evening and weekend. Finding the "time" to add this to my life won't be difficult. I enjoy walking my own dogs every night so adding additional walks to my weeks is something I look forward too. I can crate your fur baby upon request, but otherwise I wouldn't. I love to walk and love going to the trails. I prefer not to go-to any dog park unfortunately.

For many years, I have provided daily care for pets while their owners were away, and took responsibility for routine duties (walks, putting out fresh water, cleaning litter boxes, etc.) while owners were at work. I also live close to several trails and safe roads with sidewalks. In my neighbourhood, there are many schools with large fields where I can take your dog to exert their energy.
