About: I've cared for and trained a wide variety of small to larger dogs ever since I was a young girl, from puppies to seniors. Recently, my family had to say goodbye to our beautiful 15 year old furry friend Patches. I am looking to nurture this love of dogs through caring for local dogs in the community, requiring walks or boarding (in my home, with large fenced in backyard). I currently work part time as a fitness professional so have much time and positive energy to share with your precious friend. I am available for weekday, afternoon walks, according to the needs of your dog. This could be a individual or group leash walk, a social off leash park, or a swim at the lake, depending on our agreed upon arrangement. For boarding I am available 7 days a week with your dog being cared for in a loving home with myself, my husband, and our 2 adult children in post secondary studies. We are all very familiar, love connecting, playing with and caring for dogs. I have a large, fenced in yard and live in a lovely pet friendly community close to trails, on & off leash parks and Lake Ontario. I will respect how you wish for your dog to be cared for and enjoy open communication to ensure we are a suitable fit. With a professional background in fitness & wellness, you'll find me to be very safety conscious (current Standard First Aid & CPR) along with being a active, trusted certified Personal Trainer, Yoga & Pilates teacher for 2 local community centres. Having much experience interacting and caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, I assure you your furry pal will be in loving hands. Additionally, I would enjoy sending you photos to see what they're up to.

I am used to taking dogs for long walks and performing basic grooming activities. I have experience caring for dogs with health problems and dogs that have an overabundance of energy. About: Hi there! My name is Sam! I have been caring for cats and dogs professionally since 2019. I have always been an animal lover, from slimy and scaly to soft and fluffy. Every animal deserves tender love and care, especially while their family is away. It can be scary for pets when their family is away and I understand how a gentle, patient approach can ease that discomfort for pet parents and pet. Safety is my number 1 priority and I’m a big believer in loss prevention, meaning the pets I care for are always secured. Never off leash or in areas that could be a potential danger. I also understand that animals have mental and physical enrichment needs, I aim to stimulate their brains as well as get them moving physically. I have an almost 8 year old dog named Toby, he is a shih tzu mix. I have been caring for dogs and cats professionally since 2019 so Toby is happy to share his house and backyard with friends! I ask that your dog is dog friendly to ensure that both pups are happy during the stay. I also have a 9 year young cat, named Phoebe. She is comfortable with sharing her home with dogs that are happy to give her space. Even if your dog hasn’t been around a cat before I’m happy to do a trail and see how your pup responds, some dogs can be easily redirected and we can make it work! Some dogs have a higher prey drive and redirecting can be hard. A meet and greet prior to a stay will be important to ensure all parties are comfy! I am currently Monday to Wednesday, so I am able to accommodate boarding in our home. I’m currently available Thursday-Sunday for new customers. Arrangements can be made for pups require a stay that falls on Monday-Wednesday. My days are typically opposite to my partner, so your pup will never be home alone long. Safety is my number one priority with every animal I care for. I cannot imagine what I would do if I lost either of my pets. Our backyard is fully fenced and I check often for imperfections such as holes in or under the fence. Your dog will always be on leash while out and about, even if your pup has great recall I will never let them off leash unless in a secure area, such as a dog park or other fenced in area. We use long lines on hikes to provide the off leash experience.

About: I have 4 cats at home, and 1 even loves going outside for leashed walks or car rides and camping trips. I also work for a pet store, so I interact with dogs of all ages and breeds every day, including potential high stress situations. I work full time at a pet store, but on my days off I’d love to walk with your furry family member to get out some energy and give them some exercise. I work at a pet store, and do rigorous monthly safety training to make sure all of our furry friends and our humans stay safe.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 12. Growing up with German Shepherds and now paw parent to a Golden Retriever. I’m currently part-time working throughout a full time job. My love for animals keeps me caring and wanting to assist local dog owners. They bring meaning to our day. I have a fenced yard to allow the dogs to run around out back. They also have an air conditioned and heated home to come into.

About: Ive cared for dogs and rabbits for 30 years. I own a micro rabbitry. I raise mini rex. I worked in the animal industry up untill 5 years ago. Where I started working as a public school caretaker. As a caretaker I work shift. Alot of afternoon shifts which makes me available during the day. If im on day shifts I would be available after 3pm On after noons I will be available all day untill 2pm. I am also available on weekends if you're going away. I treat all dogs as I would my own.
